facade wallpaper

A relatively new version and a very interesting facade cladding, which has a large number of advantages, but is also not completely devoid of some shortcomings. Such a system exterior finish has a two-component basis in the form of a front cloth and dispersive glue. The dense and elastic polypropylene-non-woven fabric has a pronounced relief, which allows it to withstand the shrinkage of the structure and reliably cover cracks.

The cloth possesses resistance to low-temperature conditions, is characterized by fire resistance and wide color scale. During self-assembly, the facade surface is cleaned, cracks are sealed with sealant and a special adhesive is applied. After the walls are covered with a primer, a thorough coating with glue and gluing of elastic wallpaper is carried out. On the final stage corners and decorative elements are installed, and the canvas is painted.

Facade tiles

When choosing facade tiles as a finishing material for outdoor work, you can pay attention to the following options:

  • elements with metal fasteners based on high-strength reinforced concrete are mounted on a wooden crate;
  • clinker facade elements imitate sandstone and limestone, as well as broken stone and other natural materials;
  • Inexpensive facade tiles with a smooth surface, deep or light relief are especially popular with consumers. Such material is a good imitation of polished and wild stone, as well as a wooden board of various colors.

To perform not only an attractive, but also a functional finish, the so-called “warm” facade tiles are used, which consist of two layers: an external decorative part based on reinforced concrete with polymer additives and an internal special heat-insulating part.

Attention, only TODAY!

The final stage in the construction of a country house is finishing, which includes, among others, facade cladding. The range of finishing materials is huge, and for the right choice consider their characteristics and features. applications.

What is the facade cladding of a country house for?

Most modern building materials have excellent thermal insulation properties and high strength, but their appearance is unassuming. Therefore, the facade cladding is included in the project of a newly built country house.

Modern materials allow you to build a house in any style, regardless of the material of the walls. In addition, often homeowners resort to facade decoration during the restoration and repair of old houses - it gives them a new look.

Facade cladding has not only a cosmetic effect, in addition, it protects wall material from harmful factors: sun, wind, moisture, improves thermal insulation characteristics building. In general, properly executed wall decoration extend the life of the building.

Types of modern finishing materials for the facades of private houses

The choice of modern facing materials is diverse, when choosing them, the following factors are usually taken into account:

  • protective and thermal insulation properties;
  • resistance to external influences and service life;
  • application area;
  • complexity of finishing works;
  • price.

All materials used for facade cladding have their advantages and disadvantages, and the task of the developer is to find the best option for your home.

Plaster

This popular finish most often used for finishing walls made of bricks and building blocks.

Advantages of plaster:

  • well protects the walls from atmospheric moisture, creates an additional heat-insulating layer;
  • increases the fire resistance of walls;
  • the plaster is vapor-permeable, which ensures good removal of moisture from the inside of the room;
  • work can be done independently;
  • different kinds decorative plaster differ in price, it is easy to choose an affordable option;
  • plaster can be combined with other types of finishes, choose any color scheme and texture.

Application of decorative plaster.

The disadvantages include rapid destruction of the plaster layer due to improper application and operation of the building.

Types of plaster:

  1. mineral plaster based on cement and additives - the simplest and cheapest option. Its advantages include strength and high moisture resistance. Mineral plaster is sold in the form of dry mixes and has an unattractive grey colour, however, it is easily painted in any shade with facade paints. Service life - from 3 to 10 years.
  2. Acrylic plaster- ready mix with various decorative textures on the basis of pitches, it differs in plasticity and resistance to moisture. Scope of acrylic plaster - walls insulated with polystyrene. Service life - from 10 to 15 years.
  3. Silicone polymer plaster- the most expensive of analogues, it is distinguished by high quality coating, durability and resistance to pollution. It does not absorb dust and does not collapse when exposed to chemical compounds, so silicone plaster can be used to decorate buildings located near cities and highways. Finishing will last at least 25 years.
  4. Silicate facade plasters based on liquid glass are characterized by good vapor permeability, they are often used for finishing houses made of gas silicate. It is plastic, easy to apply, allows you to create different textures, is not afraid of dirt and dust and retains a fresh appearance for 20-25 years.

Designers often use plaster in combination with other finishing materials: stone, decorative bricks and tiles. This technique allows you to refresh the facade, create accents, for example, on window openings, columns or corners.

Finishing facades with natural or artificial stone

The stone can be used not only for decoration, but also as self-finishing. This type of finish is not cheap, but durable and allows you to give the house a rich appearance.

Natural stone is a heavy material, therefore they are used to decorate walls made of bricks or blocks that can withstand the weight of the cladding. The stone has an irregular shape and requires adjustment, as well as grouting.

An alternative to natural is artificial stone. It is lighter and much more affordable, imitates different types of stone, easier to mount on the surface of the walls. Like natural stone, it does not burn and is not destroyed by moisture.

Clinker tiles and thermal panels

This type of finish is ceramic tiles imitating clinker brick (see photo). Finishing bricks are a good way of cladding walls on their own, but they are usually fixed at the stage of laying the walls. Clinker tiles can be used for renovation and restoration of old buildings which makes it more versatile.

Clinker thermal panels combine two functions: insulation and finishing. Due to their size, the finishing work time is significantly reduced, and the appearance of such a house is no different from a building finished with bricks.

Clinker tiles have a natural color range from sandy to dark brown, it has strength and moisture resistance, does not burn, does not contribute to the development of mold. This finish is durable correct installation will last at least 50 years.

Porcelain stoneware

Porcelain tile is an artificial material that is not subject to shrinkage, moisture-proof and durable.

It can be mounted on a special glue, like a finishing stone, but the moisture resistance of porcelain stoneware will help retain moisture inside the walls. Therefore, porcelain tiles are more often used in ventilated facades.

This method of finishing involves fastening to the wall of the crate made of metal profile, on which porcelain tiles are mounted with the help of special fasteners. Between tiles and wall leave a ventilated gap or lay a layer of fibrous insulation that allows moisture to be removed from the walls.

Wealth colors and sizes of porcelain tiles make it a popular finishing material for country houses. Service life - not less than 25 years.

Repairing a ventilated porcelain stoneware facade is very simple: the damaged tiles are removed and replaced with new ones.

Siding

Siding - polymer or metal finishing panels used in ventilated facades.

With their help, you can finishing new houses or restoring old ones buildings from any material. Vinyl siding has more natural and muted colors, while metal siding has brighter colors. There are varieties of finishing panels that imitate wood or stone. Mounted on a crate made of a bar or a metal profile.

Advantages of siding:

  • affordable price;
  • easy installation;
  • resistance to atmospheric moisture;
  • does not require painting, does not rot;
  • can be used for wall decoration of any material.

Disadvantages:

  • with improper fastening, temperature deformation is possible;
  • vinyl siding is not durable, it can be damaged upon impact;
  • light shades of siding get dirty quickly.

wood finish

wood - the most environmentally friendly material. Due to the ability to “breathe”, wood finishing is possible both for wooden buildings and for brick and block houses. Like siding, fastening wooden finish performed according to the ventilated facade method.

The frame is made of bars, between which insulation boards can be laid. All wooden elements must be treated with an antiseptic, and the finishing material itself is recommended to be painted or coated protective equipment for wood.

Finishing wood may have different shape: block-house - imitation of logs, imitation of timber, planed front board.

Advantages of wood finishes:

  • natural breathable material;
  • wood can be mounted on any walls, installation does not require special skills;
  • the tree is easily painted in any, including natural shades;
  • the price of materials is moderate.

Significant disadvantages include:

  • low fire resistance;
  • susceptibility to decay;
  • the need for periodic processing.

What material is better and cheaper for the exterior of the house?

Having considered the description of facing materials, we can draw conclusions and make a choice. For cladding the facade of a wooden house, it is better to use a ventilated facade made of siding or finishing wood. This finish will allow the house to "breathe", it not afraid of shrinkage and seasonal deformations, perfectly harmonizes with the style of a wooden house.

For finishing a house made of bricks and blocks, plaster, finishing stone or tiles are excellent, as well as ventilated facades with any finish.

When using waterproof materials Efficient exhaust ventilation is essential in the house, otherwise high humidity, condensation and mold cannot be avoided. Over time, this can lead to the destruction of the walls.

Of course, when choosing one or another option, you should proceed from your financial capabilities. However, making a decision solely for reasons of cheapness is also not worth it. Finishing the facade of the house should be made with quality materials. It is important that its repair does not turn into a permanent procedure, leading to an endless drain of funds.

Criterias of choice

What should be taken into account when making a decision?

First of all, you need to know what materials are available for finishing the facades of private houses. If you know the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the price level for them, the chance not to make a mistake when choosing will be quite high.

In addition, we should not forget about aesthetics. It is necessary to consider how the selected finish will be in harmony with general view buildings, with other buildings on the site, and finally with fences. All of these considerations require careful thought through design, considering all the architectural elements as a whole, even before the actual construction work begins.

So, how to choose the right finishing materials for the facade of the house?

What to look for when choosing a material

Finding the most optimal finishing option in terms of the ratio between price and quality is possible only by knowing the advantages and disadvantages of a particular finishing material. When choosing, take into account following characteristics:

  • resistance to the appearance of visible defects and the ability to maintain the original color for a long time despite the effects of sunlight and weather conditions;
  • moisture resistance and frost resistance;
  • thermal insulation properties;
  • environmental friendliness;
  • in the case of the use of imitation material - the degree of its similarity with a natural product;
  • possible variations that can be obtained using this material.

Modern materials for finishing the facades of private houses are quite numerous, and therefore making your choice is not an easy task. And to accept correct solution, you need to know what are the pros and cons of this or that material.

Design and style

In modern architecture, a variety of types of decoration of the facades of private houses are realized. All this variety design options can be reduced to three main styles: classic style, country style and a style containing features of industrialism and minimalism.

Classical

The facade of the house, made in the classical style, is still a very popular solution. Character traits this style is:

  • proportionality of forms;
  • symmetry of element geometry;
  • rectangular windows and doors, sometimes decorated with decorative arches.

Although the trend towards minimalism is a feature of the classical style, there may still be elements in the design that emphasize the viability of the owner. These can be, for example, columns or massive railings.

Country

This trend includes a number of styles that have certain features. Finishing the facade of the house photo examples in our article are examples of styles such as:

  1. Russian national village style.
  2. Alpine style chalet.
  3. House in cowboy style under the Wild West.
  4. French Provence.

This style embodies certain national customs. Despite the diversity, the general principle of building country-style houses is the use of natural materials such as wood and stone. Even if artificial stone is used in construction, outwardly it should resemble natural stone as much as possible. This style will look best country houses built near forests or mountains.

Country style tends to be dominated by warm tones. The exception is French Provence, which uses restrained and cold tones. The facade of the house in the style of French Provence is very expensive. However, finishing the facades of houses with modern materials can significantly reduce the cost of construction, the photo shows options for applying this approach.

The chalet style is also very popular at the present time. Initially, the dwellings of the Alpine shepherds were built in this style. Like Provence, the chalet is an expensive style. The reason for this is the use of stone and natural wood. The style is characterized by the simplicity of the roof, as well as the finishes in general.

Industrialism and minimalism

This style is often implemented in construction small houses within the city limits. Today, the most popular trend is to use high-tech style. The facade of the house, made using such stylistic solutions, is decorated simply, and looks concise and clear.

The main principles of high-tech style are functionality and convenience. The decoration of the facade of a house built in this style is carried out using metal, plastic and glass. The design of the building is characterized by unpretentiousness and severity, enhanced by the predominance of black, white and steel colors.

Modern

Unlike hi-tech, modern does not differ in restraint. Deviations from symmetry are welcome here. As for the color scheme used in this style, then the most unexpected shades prevail, their contrast maximally imitating the riot of colors in nature.

stone facades

From natural stone

When there is such a task as facing the facade of a house, the question always arises of which material is better, the photo shows the finishing options various materials. In terms of appearance, the choice of cladding will be a matter of personal taste.

Natural stone has been used in construction since ancient times. It is very durable and strong. This is its main advantage. In addition, natural stone looks very aesthetically pleasing and gives the house monumentality and severity.

The main disadvantage of such a finish is the high cost and laboriousness of the work, which makes stone facades very costly.

Made of artificial stone

Currently, the industry produces artificial analogues of natural stone of various colors and textures. The properties of artificial stone differ little from the properties of natural material. However, the price of such a stone is much lower. Modern technologies make it possible to achieve high level the similarity of artificial stone with such natural rocks as granite, basalt, limestone, marble, quartzite, sandstone and others.

from brick

For facade cladding, facing or clinker bricks are used. This material is made from natural raw materials - clay, according to a special technology. By its qualities, brick is in the forefront among the materials that can be used to decorate the facade of a house. The photo of private brick houses shows only some of the many types of this material. The range of facing bricks today is very wide and includes options that have the most various shades, shape and texture.

So what are the benefits of brick? brick finish has the following advantages:

  • strength;
  • durability;
  • good soundproofing and heat-insulating properties;
  • frost resistance;
  • poor moisture absorption.

In addition, over time, the brick does not fade and retains its original shade.

The technology for the production of clinker bricks is the same as that of ordinary ceramic bricks, but firing is carried out at a higher temperature. As a result, there are no voids in the finished material. Clinker brick is a very durable material.

The downside of a brick is that its appearance can deteriorate due to the appearance of efflorescence.

Block house

This modern finishing material is a kind of lining. The front surface of the block house imitates logs. Among its advantages it should be noted:

  • aesthetic appearance;
  • environmental friendliness.

Blockhouse Disadvantages:

  • lack of fire resistance;
  • fragility;
  • high cost;
  • the need for periodic updates.

In addition, a block house may have defects inherent in natural wood such as knots, wormholes or cracks.

Decorative paneling

This method of finishing is relatively young, but it has already managed to gain popularity among the owners of private houses. This method of cladding not only provides attractive design facade of the building - it is also distinguished by low cost and ease of installation. The installation of such panels does not require much time. Decorative panels are made from different materials. Besides their purely decorative function, they can also provide proper level building facade insulation.

Currently, the following types of decorative panels are used:

  1. Fiber cement panels, the material for which are cellulose fibers and cement containing mineral additives.
  2. Polymer coated panels which are sheets of aluminum or galvanized steel, coated on top with a protective polymer layer.
  3. Facade thermal panels, for the manufacture of which polyurethane foam is used.
  4. wood based panels, the surface of which is protected by paint.
  5. glass panels- laminated, reinforced, bulletproof, shockproof and so on. Glass gives a home unusual view and provides good sound and thermal insulation, however, the installation of such a finish is a rather laborious process.

Siding

Siding is a very common building cladding material. Siding is made from vinyl and wood. In addition, there is also aluminum siding, but for cladding residential buildings it is rarely used.

Vinyl siding has the greatest versatility. It is inexpensive, durable, fireproof, easy to install, safe for health. It also provides good ventilation to the walls. The facade of the building, finished with vinyl siding, looks attractive. Today on the market you can find the siding of the most different shades.

The disadvantage of siding is the artificial appearance. In addition, the service life of this material is greatly exaggerated by manufacturers.

Wood siding is essentially a lining made of compressed wood fibers. The disadvantages of this material are the need for care, fire hazard and toxicity of some resins used in its production. In addition, such siding is more expensive and lasts less than vinyl siding.

Wooden facades

For facade cladding natural wood usually use lining. Natural wood is environmentally friendly safe material giving the building an aesthetic appearance. However, such a finish requires regular maintenance, is short-lived and fire hazard.

Plaster

This type of finish is very popular. In many ways - due to the fact that decorative, acrylic and cement-sand plaster is quite cheap. In addition, this material provides ample opportunities for improvisation in terms of pattern, color and texture. This finish is well insulates the home. In addition, the material is fire-safe.

In addition to these three types of plaster, they also produce silicone. But its cost is much higher. The main disadvantage of plaster is the significant role of the human factor. The quality of the finish is highly dependent on the skill of the plasterer. Only professionals can perform such finishing. In addition, plastered facades require maintenance.

Porcelain stoneware finish

Porcelain stoneware is one of the best finishing materials. Currently, it is produced in the widest range of shades and textures. In particular, porcelain stoneware can imitate natural stone or wood. The advantages of this material are as follows:

  • durability;
  • strength;
  • moisture resistance;
  • temperature stability;
  • color constancy.

The disadvantage of the material is the need for special glue during installation, because cement mortar does not hold porcelain stoneware well. At temperatures below zero, porcelain stoneware can completely fall off. An alternative installation method is to fix porcelain stoneware to metal frame.

Finishing with facade tiles

Decorative tiles is a very common material. The following varieties are currently produced:

  1. Terracotta tiles.
  2. Glass coated tiles.
  3. Tiles with ceramic coating.
  4. Two-layer tiles with ceramic coating.

This material has several advantages, namely:

  • high strength characteristics;
  • environmental Safety;
  • incombustibility;
  • lightness, and therefore no need for an additional foundation;
  • very low hygroscopicity;
  • UV resistance;
  • frost resistance.

stone chips

This type of finish is a mixture of small stones with a binder. Today, homeowners are offered a wide range of crumbs of various colors and shades. They make chips from quartz, granite and marble. This material has excellent weather resistance.

Benefits of stone chips:

  • Compatible with any base surface;
  • UV resistance;
  • Temperature stability;
  • Mechanical strength;
  • Vapor permeability;
  • Durability.

Wet facade

See in our article the wet facade of a photo of private houses - another finishing option. It is a multilayer structure consisting of a base reinforced, heat-insulating and decorative layers. Installation work wet facade consist of three stages:

  1. Installation of reinforcing mesh.
  2. Installation of thermal insulation, such as expanded polystyrene sheets or mineral wool.
  3. Application of a decorative layer of plaster, mineral or silicone.

Combination of materials

Facade finishing materials for walls can be combined with each other, and thus create your own original solutions. For example, you can apply plaster on the upper part of the walls, and finish the plinth with stone or other material.

Unusual finishes

When finishing facades, you can not only use various standard options. You can be creative and implement this or that original solution according to your imagination and budget. The photo below shows such original facades.

Thus, ideal finishes do not exist. Therefore, when choosing a facade, one should be guided by considerations of aesthetics, the significance of certain characteristics for oneself and, of course, one's material capabilities.

Siding

For more than a century, craftsmen have been sheathing houses wooden board, but only about 50 years ago, a PVC analogue of this material was invented. PVC siding has a number of advantages, among which it is worth noting:

  1. The formation of a protective ventilated screen around the wall, which allows the walls to breathe.
  2. Vinyl siding is not required special care: to keep the facade clean, it is enough to occasionally wash it with water.
  3. PVC does not burn. Although it melts, releasing harmful substances, this does not aggravate the situation of people inside the house during a fire.
  4. A house sheathed with vinyl siding looks very modern, without losing its aesthetic properties over the years.

Color fading resistance and service life vary by manufacturer. Pleasantly low prices can be deceiving. Poor-quality house upholstery will last only a few years, and then it will have to be changed, which will entail additional financial costs.

Before buying material for finishing the facade, take measurements of the house. This will allow you to calculate the number of siding and additional elements for its installation. It is very important to follow the installation technology. Calculate the expansion and contraction ratio vinyl siding. This event will help you avoid rework due to material expansion during the hot season.

No less common material for cladding is siding made of natural wood. Well, this building looks really great. However, wood is relatively short-lived, so the costly splendor of wood siding may not be worth it. However, modern technologies have made it possible for manufacturers to produce wooden siding with an extended service life. By processing under high pressure wood density increases. This increases the resistance of the material to the effects of an aggressive environment.

The most durable, unpretentious, refractory and resistant to mechanical damage is considered metal siding. It is made of galvanized steel with a polymer coating. The main drawback of the material is a limited palette of colors and types of textures. Grounding arrangement corrects the conductive properties of the metal. This event, by the way, prevents the penetration of radio waves into the building. In this case, the house will have protective screen, but mobile communication in it will be bad to catch.

Classical approach - plaster

The plastered facade is also called wet. This is logical, because for its arrangement it is impossible to do without wet processes. Nowadays, various compositions of plasters have been developed for facade plastering.

Mineral plaster. It is a bestseller due to its low cost. Nevertheless, the material has the shortest service life and low ductility. Although, on the other hand, the walls treated with mineral plaster "breathe". It makes sense to apply "breathable" plaster only if the walls are also built from materials that allow air to pass through. Mineral wool or basalt slabs can be used as insulation. If your home is close to railway tracks or a busy motorway, then mineral plaster for finishing the facade is inappropriate in this case. The fact is that it will crack and collapse due to constant vibrations. Typically, the service life is about 10 years.

If your house has just been built, then plastering it with this composition is not worth it. The building will shrink for several years, causing the facade to crack and collapse. Simply put, such actions will lead to a waste of money.

The material is very plastic and resistant to moisture, "does not breathe". However, if you chose expanded polystyrene or foam glass as a heater, then this type of plaster will be indispensable. The facade withstands large vibrations. This means that if your house is located near railway or freeways, then the wall cladding will last in its original form for a very long time!

Acrylic plaster absorbs dust, so if the house is located near the highway, its use should be as justified as possible.

The material is very durable, and the fact that it does not "breathe" can be compensated for by forced ventilation. The service life is about 15-20 years.

silicate plaster. The material has absorbed all the positive characteristics. It does not collect dust on itself, is unusually plastic and allows air to pass through, that is, it “breathes”. However, silicate plaster is the most expensive. Its service life ranges from 20 to 25 years.

The material is elastic, breathable, does not absorb chemical compounds, including salts, and is antistatic. If silicone plaster is applied correctly, it will be a durable decoration of the facade for 25 years, or even more. The material is so reliable that it can be used to cover the facade even near a busy highway.

Monumental facade, finished with tiles or stone

With the help of tiles it is very easy to make a beautiful design of the house. However, in order for such a facade to last for a long time, it is very important to follow the installation technology. The first thing to consider is that brickwork walls must first shrink. In addition, in order for the tile to adhere well to the walls, it is necessary to use the appropriate adhesive composition for each type of tile. By the way, tiles can be clinker, ceramic, made of natural or artificial stone, made on a sand-cement basis.

Tiling can transform a flat, unremarkable wall into an exquisite architectural masterpiece. Finishing the facade with tiles is done seriously and for a long time. The tile you use must be designed for outdoor use!

If you decide to make a ventilated facade, then the walls insulated in this way can be tiled. The method of fastening and the thickness of the sheathing are calculated in accordance with the upcoming loads. Ventilated facades are made of brick. After that, you can finish the walls with tiles.

If you decide to sheathe the house with tiles imitating chopped stone or brick, then leave gaps of 5 mm between the parts for subsequent grouting. To make the masonry look more attractive, choose the appropriate grout color.

When combining tile textures, it is important to consider their size. To veneer the base, choose large elements. for walls better fit smaller tiles. Thus, the house will look more stable. The top edge of the finish must be protected from moisture penetration. For this purpose, use protective cornices or visors.

As for the facade cladding with natural stone, the technology is as follows:

Facing the exterior walls of the house with brickwork

Brick is a symbol of the quality factor of the structure. To make the house more respectable, it is best to use clinker bricks. As a rule, wall cladding with bricks is already done at the stage of laying the walls. Such a move is usually calculated by architects in advance. What if the building has already been built? In this case, facing the facade with clinker bricks - perfect solution to improve the attractiveness of the house.

If you have a wooden house, then its brick finishing is only advisable if a ventilated facade is installed. Otherwise, on wooden wall condensation will form, quickly destroying it.

Thickening the wall due to brickwork will not increase its thermal insulation properties. To make the house warmer, you need to make a ventilated facade with wall insulation with basalt slab or mineral wool. brickwork you can’t start doing it if the foundation of the house is not strengthened and expanded. This is due to the fact that the brick absorbs moisture. In addition, a waterproofing layer should be laid on the foundation.

Regardless of what material the walls are made of, they must be connected to the masonry with flexible ties. There are 7 flexible connections per 1 m2. The height of the masonry together with the pediment cannot exceed 7 m. Otherwise, it will be fragile. To bring the wall texture to life, set it to decorative elements, such as cornices, fillets and arch molding.

In addition, you can combine bricks of several colors. Such a facade will look very original and unusual. If you add the appropriate dye to the solution, the masonry will look even more elegant.

If you have already decided how to finish the facade of the house with your own hands, then purchase the material and start doing the work. If you have any questions on the topic, then write your comments on the article. The specialists working on the site will advise you, specifying all the details of the facade decoration or the choice of materials.

A photo

The appearance of the house is one of the determining factors that shape its image. The first impression not only about the building, but also about its owner depends on the facade. In addition to the reliability and convenience of the internal layout,it is important that the house also hasaesthetic qualities - attractive appearance. In such a house, no doubt, it is pleasant to live, but besides, a beautiful house has a high liquidity!

facade design project.

I will demonstrate to you what a facade design project is ov private house on the example of such a conditional (rather standard about) cottage a:

This is a pretty nice and inexpensive cottage with an area of about 200-250 sq.m. Suppose it was built 10-15 years ago, when there was not yet such a variety of materials for exterior decoration, and therefore it looks rather boring and ascetic.Let's see what we can do with it... (click on the link below)

To start work on the facade project ov I need to have the drawings according to which the house was built. If for some reason you do not have such drawings, then I necessary take measurements Houses;

Then a meeting is needed to conclude an agreement and discuss wishes for the project of facades andthe future look of the house;

After that, according to the drawings or measurements, I build a three-dimensional computer model , on the basis of which work will be carried out ondesign (project) of facades ;

Usually one or two, maximum three design options are enough in a project, but in this case, in order to demonstrate how you can decorate this house, I will show you 4 different options.

1. Cottage in classic style.

Perhaps the most common style in private country architecture in our country. I singled out the entrance group by attaching a massive balcony on columns above the entrance, which completely transformed the entire main facade. The walls remained plastered, but I replaced the plinth lining: instead of the old artificial stone, I used natural sandstone. Light architectural elements made of expanded polystyrene, as well as products made of architectural concrete, are used in the decorative finishing of facades.

2.Cottage in Georgian (English) style.

No less popular style in suburban construction. The attached entrance group with a massive pediment and columns gives solemnity to the main facade. Old English mansions were, as a rule, brick, so in this version I used clinker for façade cladding, imitating old brickwork. Clinker is a beautiful, durable and practical material. Light facade decorative elements were also used in the decoration.

3.Country style cottage (half-timbered).

In the exterior decoration in this version, techniques are used that imitate the medieval European style. The first floor was often made of stone, and the second was framed (half-timbered). The use of natural building materials in the exterior (wood, natural stone) gives the design authenticity. Brackets and wooden railings are must-haves for this style.

4.Cottage in the Portuguese style.

Distinctive features of this style are bright, saturated colors and covered terraces, stretched along the entire facade (in our climate, a terrace can be replaced with a glazed veranda). In terms of the facade decorative elements used, this style is close to the “classic”, but it is more original and “light”, as well as the extensive use of wood products. An integral element of the style is natural ceramic tiles on the roof.

Thus, by ordering facade design project , you will get a thoughtful concept of facades with a complete study of all architectural details. In the project, I will select colors, materials, decorative elements for exterior decoration that will fully satisfy you, both architecturally and financially. All this is important to do before proceeding directly to construction work. I will be happy to help you with this!
