Garden on the window in kindergarten: design (ideas). Ideas for activities in the children's garden

Olesya Kovshova

For example, planting an onion in our preparatory school group will not surprise anyone, but research and observation of the growth of the same onion, but in different conditions x, the guys are watching with pleasure.

What is needed for this? Three identical jars for planting bulbs (we took old non-spillers) and three bulbs. Why three bulbs? I explain:

put the first onion in a non-spill with water(Don't forget to cut off the tops of all three bulbs). For this bulb, three conditions will be met:

water(we designate this condition with a blue circle, sticking a blue circle on the non-spill, warmly(glue red circle)

light(glue a yellow circle)

Second bulb put in a non-spill without water. For this bulb, two conditions are met:

third bulb placed in a non-spill with water, but in a dark place where light does not penetrate. We put this bulb in a box with a tight-fitting lid. This bulb is in the following conditions:

And now we are gaining patience and watching with the children which bulb will grow. At the same time, do not forget to keep a diary of observations, comparing each of the bulbs.

You can also watch for the germination of potatoes. We take a potato, wash it well and put it on the windowsill to sunshine. After a while, potato sprouts will not keep you waiting. And the kids will love to watch it.

And here, for example, is an option for observing and conducting an experiment on germination flower seeds. We took the seeds of the Sunflower "Bear Cub". For this experiment, we created three different conditions for the growth of seeds.

First option: seeds are planted in a container with soil.

Second option: mix soil with sand in a ratio of 1/1.

Third option: put the seed on a cotton pad in a container.

For all three options landing we observe the same conditions: water, light, heat. To make it convenient to compare, we keep a diary of observations for all three samples.

To make it interesting for the children to take care of the garden, we also planted other seeds: dill, parsley, tomatoes, watercress and much more. But, so that the garden does not seem boring, ordinary pots have become quite unusual little men (as our children said: "These are boys and girls, like us").

And a birch tree and some other decorations grew on the window.

If my ideas are useful to you, I will be very glad. Enjoy your research and observation with children. And of course, good harvest in the garden!

Garden on the windowsill 08.04.2014

Dear readers, you probably know that now on my blog there is a contest "Garden on the windowsill". You and I will grow greens at home. And not just grow, but everyone has the opportunity to show their work and receive cash prizes for it. Today I present you the first competitive work. The work has been amazing. It was sent by the teachers of the kindergarten "Alyonushka" from Samara region. To be honest, from the beginning I did not know how to present the work itself. I just wanted to choose from it the photos themselves and material on the topic of the competition, but after thinking it over, I decided to publish the entire work of the educators.

This will be the script children's holiday on the spring theme. A script for both children and parents. I think that someone can fully use it if your work is related to children. Teachers Mikhailova Olga Valerievna and Ivanova Tatyana Ivanovna approached the topic so thoroughly. And the tasks of all the holidays are spelled out, and the children grew greens, and riddles with poems about onions can be found, and also cooking recipes and many other things. I give the floor to our contestants - educators. We meet the first competitive work.

Onion Poems

onion happiness

All athletes are friends with the bow,
Loved by adults and children.
Even those on a diet
Consume by all means
Our green vegetable is an onion.
After all, in all soups, borscht,
Second courses, vegetables,
It gives a special taste
You don't believe us? Try!

The offspring of bitter torment,
What's this? Onion of course!
Protects from microbes
Though he pinches his tongue
Our green aibolit,
When your throat hurts.

Feathers growing green
And hiding his head in the ground,
Protected from all disasters
This is how our onion grows, guys.
We cut it into salads
And in zazharki for soups.
Luke is always ready to help
Make our food taste better
It can be more attractive.
We grow it, we keep it,
After all, our bow can not be replaced
He is our helper everywhere -
Both medicine and food.

Onions - our vegetable is very hot,
It's better not to touch him.
Well, if you touch, pens
Must be washed thoroughly
And wash off all the bitterness of the onion.
So to say just in case
So that it does not burn in the eyes
And it didn't bring me to tears.
Because the bow is angry
And a little poisonous.
But he's not dangerous at all.
And not harmful to people, fortunately.
He heals our eyes
Nose, if stuffed
Doctor onion will help him.

Onion Riddles

The gentleman came from the garden,
All in patches
Whoever looks,
Everyone will pay.

The grandfather is sitting in a hundred fur coats,
Who undresses him
He sheds tears.

Underground is not great
In a fur coat a golden old man

Tanya came in a yellow sundress:
They began to undress Tanya,
Let's cry and cry.

He can't laugh
And he doesn't like to undress.
Who takes off his caftan,
Sheds tears often.

Ignatka is sitting in the garden,
Ignatka's caftan in patches.
Who will touch Ignatka,
He will shed a tear.

Doesn't upset anyone
And makes everyone cry.

The grandfather is sitting in a hundred fur coats,
Who undresses him
He sheds tears.

A sundress is not a sundress,
a dress is not a dress,
How are you going to undress?
you will cry to your heart's content.

Before we ate it
Everyone had time to cry.

Make everyone around cry
Although he is not a fighter, but ...

What without pain and without sadness brings to tears?

The gentleman came from the garden,
all in patches
whoever looks,
everyone will cry.

What grows in our garden?
Cucumbers, sweet peas,
Tomatoes and dill
For seasoning and for testing.
There are radishes and lettuce -
Our garden is just a treasure.
But watermelons don't grow here.
If you listened carefully
I definitely remembered that.
Answer in order:
What grows in our garden?

An outdoor game of low mobility "Our garden is in order."
Target:
Our garden is fine.
We dug up beds in the spring (we imitate work with a shovel).
We weeded the garden (we bend down, we get the floor with our hands).
They watered the garden (we show how they watered with a watering can).
Small holes are not dense
We planted cabbage (squat down, wrap your arms around your knees).
All summer she got fat,
It grew in breadth and up (slowly we rise).
And now she has dough, poor thing,
Says: "Step aside!" (stomp foot at end of sentence)

Advice for parents "About onions for children"

Who among us does not know what an onion is? Most likely, there are no such strangers. And you do not have to be an experienced onion grower to grow this plant. White, purple, yellow - this is the most ancient vegetable crop on earth.
The homeland of onions is the mountainous regions of Central Asia. As a cultivated plant, the inhabitants of India and Afghanistan were the first to learn to use it. Then he began his "victorious march" to other countries of the world.
It was such an old custom.
When a wedding cortege moved down the street in the southern villages, a peasant with a huge wreath of onions, a symbol of the well-being of a young family, walked at the head of it. Festive wreath was worn around the neck. Shiny bulbs sparkled in the sun, and "whispered" among themselves in their special "onion" manner. Until now, wreaths, braids, wickerwork from onions are in use.
The genus onion a has over six hundred species distributed throughout the world. All types of onions have high taste qualities.
About two hundred and fifty of them grow wild in Central Asia, in the Crimea, Altai and Far East, in Siberia, in the European part of the country. This culture is of great economic importance. Onion is used as a food, vitamin-bearing, medicinal, ornamental, honey plant. With a huge number various kinds, cultivated are a much smaller number. From onion plants who won a place on our garden and garden plots, seven types are most common: batun, fragrant, leek, onion, slime, chives, and garlic.
Onion-batun - perennial, having hollow tubular leaves, like onions, but not forming the same bulb (in a batun, a small cylindrical bulb appears, turning into a false stem). The homeland of this type of onion is China. In another way, this plant can be called: onion, tatar, winter, sandy. Leek - biennial herbaceous plant. It belongs to the nutritionally valuable vegetable crops. His homeland is the Mediterranean. In culture, leeks are widely distributed in Western Europe(France, Denmark, Holland). Onion is a biennial plant with a well-formed bulb. Not found in the wild. His home side middle Asia and Afghanistan. It has been known in culture for over four thousand years BC.

The beneficial properties of onions have been noticed by man for a long time. Onion crops benefit everyone, especially their green leaves which contain vitamin C and carotene. Fresh onion greens are a good antiscorbutic agent, it stimulates the appetite, improves digestion. Green onions of all kinds are useful for patients with acute respiratory disease or influenza, as it contains phytoncides that have a detrimental effect on pathogens. Leek is recommended for metabolic disorders.

Onion Poems

Everyone is the envy of onions today.
Wonderful shape and elastic,
Like a rebellious ball,
Gets out of hand.
It is unusually round - I see
Golden, red, red.
But peeling off the skin
Stop your game.
The eye will sting in earnest.
Decided to roar, as if?
***
Onions in the garden and in the garden,
Yes, with all the honest people,
Develops, grows.
Save us from disease.
***
Yes, a successful onion grew.
Everything is done. But not suddenly.
I have put in the work.
I followed the landing.
A large leek has grown.
And now you are not sick.
Onion - add to salad.
And boldly put on the table.
Unusual bow-batun,
And the Siberian onion slime.
Aromatic, bitter
Are you crying? Who is to blame?
