Not so long ago I shared a recipe . I liked them so much that my brain was constantly twisting ideas to make something like this with this cheese spread. And when I saw small buns in the store, everything came together in my head: “And I will make small mini-pizzas!”, If you can call them that, of course.

Having bought five buns, I immediately experimented by preparing mini-pizzas, and was delighted with both the taste and another invented-acquired simple recipe for all occasions in my piggy bank. These buns will be good both as a snack, and for snacks, and for hiking, picnics, you can take them with you to work, and when “guests are on the doorstep” ... You can think of many more options where you can take them with you. And, most importantly, they can be made from leftover food, if you have a small piece of sausage or ham left, a piece of cheese, rolled buns.

So, I share.

Ingredients:

  • 1 melted cheese
  • 70-100 gr hard cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 60-70g ham or sausages (or sausages)
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • a few olives or a pickle (optional)
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • a mixture of Italian herbs (optional)
  • dill, parsley
  • small ready-made buns (I used 9 buns for the amount of the resulting mixture)

How to make mini pizza buns:

Send pre-melted cheese to the freezer for 30-60 minutes.

Grate a clove of garlic and melted cheese into a bowl.

Add half of the grated hard cheese and a mixture of herbs.


Add two tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix well. Salt, pepper to taste.


Finely chop the ham (cubes with a side of 3-5 mm)

Tomatoes cut into thin circles, olives ringlets.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil.

Turn oven on 180°

Cut the buns in half and place crust side down on a baking sheet. And, of course, buns can be taken not necessarily round. I still had an oblong in the form of a bar, and I also put it into action.

Put the cheese mixture on the buns with a teaspoon and spread like butter.

Lay tomato slices on top. I decided to make different buns, and therefore I did not put tomatoes on all the halves.

I put ham on some of the halves, some olives on some, and left some just with cheese.


We send our beauty to the oven.

Bake at 180° for 12-15 minutes , or until the cheese is melted. Consider the capacity of your oven.

Sprinkle hot pizza buns with finely chopped dill and parsley.

Step 1. For making mini pizzas, almost any buns are suitable for us, the main condition is that they must be fresh and not sweet (although this is already a matter of taste).

With a sharp knife, cut off the “lid” of the bun and carefully remove the crumb with a fork. The result should be such "boxes" with a fairly thick bottom and walls.

Step 2 Lubricate the surface of the buns with your favorite sauce. It can be ordinary ketchup, or it can be an author's recipe with pepper, garlic or caramelized onions.

Step 3. I decided to add a touch of comfort to my mini pizzas and fried scrambled eggs. If you don't like eggs or don't have them on hand, don't worry! The beauty of such a snack is in an unlimited number of variations of its components, which means you can cook a mini-pizza with vegetables or berries, fruits and even smoked fish!

Such pizzas in buns can be baked in the oven at a temperature of 160 degrees for about 10 minutes, but you can limit yourself to 3 minutes in the microwave.

An easy recipe for a delicious quick meal. Mini pizza from buns.

It so happened that I worked part-time in Germany in the summer, with the owner of a small butcher's shop. They have a rule: before selling any piece of sausage, the seller must make a fresh cut. As a result, up to 2 kg of a wide variety of sausage slices and similar products are collected per day.

To ensure that such a quantity of products is not wasted, my owners came up with the following trick. From leftover sausages, they made amazingly tasty little pizza buns that were in astonishing demand. Many Germans came to the shop early in the morning specifically to eat such a bun, drink a cup of coffee and chat with neighbors. I offer you my homemade version of this pizza.

Sausages - 200 gr.
Tomato - 2 pcs.
Fresh cucumber - 2 pcs.
Pickled champignons - 1 jar
Cheese - 200 gr.
Mayonnaise or cheese sauce - to taste.

We collect any leftover meat and sausage products in the house (boiled sausage, raw smoked sausage, servelat, brisket, etc.)

We take any buns you like. You can take hamburger buns, which you can easily find in any supermarket

Cut the sausage into very small cubes.

You can add whatever you want to this pizza. We made with pineapples, and with bell peppers, and with pickled cucumbers. Everything is delicious. But now, given that summer is in the yard, I took fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Cut them as small as possible. It is optimal to cut into cubes of the same size as the sausage. Then the pizza will look neat and aesthetically pleasing.

Add marinated champignons, which should also be finely chopped.

Mix everything thoroughly in one large bowl.

Add 200 grams of cheese grated on a fine grater.

Once again, mix the whole mass and add mayonnaise or cheese sauce to it. This is how it should end up.

This is the filling for our pizza.
Now take the buns and cut them in half. And then either we crush the dough inward, or we remove the middle from the bun a little.

We fill the vacated space with our pre-prepared filling, which can be laid with a slide, slightly crushed with a spoon.

You've probably already preheated the oven. Now we put the buns in an oven heated to a temperature of 170-200 0 C for 5-10 minutes. As soon as the buns are reddened and acquire a golden hue, the pizza can be pulled out.

The mass is perfectly stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. That allows you to quickly prepare a delicious hearty breakfast or surprise guests with a hearty dish in a hurry. You can put completely different products in the filling. If you like greens, then finely chop the dill, basil, parsley and add to the mass. Grated cheese can not be mixed with the filling mass itself, but simply put on top of the pizza. In any case, you will always get delicious and beautiful food, which is not a shame to put on the table during the holiday. This dish does not require large material and physical costs. Also, such a pizza will save you money more than once on school or work lunches.
