Boil dumplings in salted boiling water until they float to the surface.

“Lazy” dumplings are made from cottage cheese. It is better to take not too dry and not fat-free cottage cheese. Suitable cottage cheese with a fat content of 5-9%.

Egg is added for viscosity. In proportion: 1 small egg per 250 g of cottage cheese.

I use wheat flour. Enough 1 tbsp. This way, the dumplings turn out tender and not “clogged” with flour. The rest of the flour is used for molding, as well as for cooking. Wheat flour can be replaced with rice flour, but keep in mind that you need to take less of it, as it absorbs moisture a lot.

For sweetness, I prefer to add powdered sugar instead of sugar to dumplings and cheesecakes. It dissolves instantly without changing the structure of curd products.

You can use vanilla flavored powder. Or add separately vanilla extract - a couple of drops.

Lazy dumplings cook very quickly. You can also prepare them for future use by freezing them in the freezer!

Cooking time - up to 5 minutes after boiling!

For example, vermicelli with cherries and nuts or dumplings with cherries in cherry and sour cream sauce.

Both dishes are very tasty and incredibly easy to prepare.

Germans call vermicelli thick short pasta. Naturally, you can use any small pasta.

Cherry is used from compote or frozen.

There is one problem with dumplings. I always want them to be more accurate in shape. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find a balance between tenderness and form right away. The main thing here is not to make the dough too thick so that the dumplings do not turn out rubbery. And too large dumplings can be cut.

In my opinion, the best form and tenderness in. With it, you can make the dough thicker. Thanks to the cottage cheese, the dumplings will be tender, and neat lumps in shape. And, of course, you can add cherries to them, it will be very tasty.

You can also serve cherries with dumplings.

But here I cooked the usual dumplings, like the Germans in the recipe.

Cooking:

1. Prepare pasta.

2. If we use frozen cherries, like I do, put 40 g of cherries, these are 10-12 pieces of medium size, into a cup, add a teaspoon of sugar, pour in 2 teaspoons of boiled water. Place the cup in a bowl of warm water. Cherries will quickly defrost and release juice. We do not overheat.

You can simply put it on the table in advance, so many cherries will quickly defrost and let the juice flow even at room temperature.

3. Put cherries without juice on a plate with pasta.

4. Add sour cream to a mug with juice, mix.

5. Pour the cherry-sour cream sauce over the pasta. We serve the dish.

Another version of the sauce is purely German , it is without sour cream for compote cherries:

- Pour 3 tablespoons of compote juice into an enamel mug, add a third of a teaspoon of starch, mix, bring to a boil while stirring. If the juice in the compote is not sweet enough, add sugar.

- put pasta on a plate, add cherries from compote, pour over with cherry sauce. You can sprinkle with ground nuts. The dish is ready.

German-style cherry dumplings

You can defrost cherries with sugar in advance without the participation of dishes with warm water.
