Design of a two-room apartment 30 sq. m. Interior design of a one-room apartment

Design of an apartment of 30 sq.m in Paris: a chalet with a "mezzanine"
One could fall in love with this apartment only because of the terraces, one of which overlooks Rue Rivoli, and the other - Rue Des Boules in Paris. But the attic dwelling had another undeniable advantage: it was located directly above the apartment of the buyer - designer Christina Velani. The new living space could be used as a guest apartment, study or rental housing. Bold minus attic space became his terrible state.

Initially, the project of the attic apartment assumed its division into two rooms, but such a layout made the housing not only cramped, but also dark. Kristina removed all the internal partitions and part of the beams between the living room and the kitchen - a studio of 30 sq.m.

On the picture: the interior of a studio apartment of 30 sq.m only benefited from the creation of a mezzanine above the bathroom

According to the new design project, a studio apartment has a living room, a bathroom and a makeshift bedroom under one slope of the roof, and a kitchen and dining room under the other. Particularly interesting is the organization of the wing with the living room. To add an extra sleeping place, the designer built a mezzanine 80 cm high above the entrance to the bathroom, in which a mattress 90 cm wide and 10 cm high is placed. Under it is a narrow wardrobe built along the wall, salient feature small French projects.

Old attic beams gave Christina the idea to design a studio of 30 sq.m. cozy style chalet: soft colors, stone and wood. The atmosphere of a mountain hut is supported by a black marble fireplace portal and a movable wooden staircase leading to the mezzanine. A round mirror above the fireplace makes the studio space even brighter.

 • The interior of the chalet will organically look Coffee table ik made from stump.
 • To unify the space, kitchen furniture for the project was chosen in the same colors as those used in the living room and dining room.
 • The atmosphere of the "stone" is perfectly conveyed by gray shades, especially the color of sandstone - this is how the walls in the bathroom of this studio of 30 sq.m are painted (photo at the link below).
 • A melamine countertop imitating stone helped to add a “stone” texture to the kitchen space.
 • A little trick for those who design small apartments: niches look deeper and more interesting if they are illuminated from the inside.

Apartment design 28 sqm in Stockholm: oranges in the snow
The interior design of this studio is a little less than 30 sq.m., the architect Sofia Kanye came up with for herself. As a result, she managed to find a layout that allowed her to keep a spacious living room and not be left without a bedroom. Sofia divided the room into two parts. One of them is occupied by the kitchen, bedroom and mini-dressing room, and the second - by the living room and dining room.

Sofia made the design project of the studio apartment in a month, her uncle, the builder, helped her with the decoration. Renovation of a small studio took only two weeks! The sleeping block is the most interesting design of the project. The bed is located on a high podium, it is separated from the kitchen and public spaces by frosted glass partitions. The podium replaces the closet - all the things of the hostess are stored inside.

To the left of the bedroom there was a place for a small "dressing room" with ergonomic rods and hooks. Directly below it is a table that combines the functions of a worker and a toilet. The mirror next to it visually enlarges the space - it seems as if the studio continues beyond the bedroom.

Other ideas from this apartment:

 • The interior of this apartment is made as airy as possible. The recipe here is simple: white walls, curtains, floor and ceiling. Wooden white floors are laid even in the kitchen - Sofia was inspired by Japanese architecture.
 • But the accents, on the contrary, are very bright in the apartment: orange, yellow, red, brass colors. However, as it turned out, with so much whiteness, bright color spots look too dynamic - several accessories and pillows had to be abandoned.
 • In the wardrobe compartment, hanger racks are used, fixed perpendicular to the wall - so they fit more clothes.

Apartment design 30 sq.m in Milan: kitchen - to the center
Elena, the owner of this 30 sqm apartment in Milan, works as a freelance art director. For her, the studio is not only a favorite home, but also an office. Given the highest responsibility of the event, Elena created the interior of her apartment herself. The hostess made the kitchen the center of the composition - its orange facades catch the eye from anywhere in the home. A rare design project for a tiny living space allocates so much space for kitchen furniture, but for Elena it was important to get a full-fledged cooking area. At the same time, she deliberately abandoned the top line of cabinets so as not to clutter up the space. Where shelves are nevertheless provided, they are left open.

In the photo: the interior of a studio apartment of 30 sq.m with a bright kitchen

The glass cover on the dining table not only protects it from spilled wine and sauce, but also allows you to constantly update the design - you just need to change the napkins under the transparent panel. And on the glass apron, you can leave notes with a special marker. Portraits of aliens by a hostess friend bring an ironic touch to the design of a small studio apartment.

In this cheerful studio, the hostess realized another of her childhood dreams: she put up a huge bookcase with a ladder. Yes, the design of a compact studio apartment of 30 sq.m rarely gives us the opportunity to see such "wastefulness". But Elena for the sake of her dreams easily refused the bed. More precisely, instead of a bed, she chose a folding eco-leather sofa bed. It has an atypical design: the back stays in place all the time, and the armrests serve as tables. A work lamp on the table turns into a "lampshade" for the bedroom with one movement. On the background you can see the black and white wardrobe.

Other ideas from this apartment:

 • So that multi-colored book spines do not dazzle, and archives do not fall apart into sheets, Elena hid part of the library in black and white folders for magazines.
 • The library cabinet ladder is also used as a hanger for everyday clothes.
 • The oven is raised to the level of the hands - it is more convenient to look at the cake and get a hot pizza.
 • Hanging cabinets, which seem to “hover” above the floor, look much lighter in the interior of the studio than usual ones. A similar cabinet in the living room also hides the wires from the TV.
 • The budget allocated for the renovation of the studio did not allow me to immediately buy expensive tiles for the bathroom. Therefore, there is used special paint giving the effect of raw metal.

Apartment design 29 sqm in Gothenburg: silver strings
The design project of an apartment with a footage of less than 30 "squares", as a rule, involves the combination of functional areas. The priorities here are set by the owners: some need a large sofa, others need a kitchen on the island. The repair of the studio in the photo began with a search for a place for a full-fledged dressing room - the owner of the living space works in a clothing store and he did not want to feel like a "shoemaker without boots" at home.

Helped to fence off a separate room for things unusual layout a small studio: a sleeping place is organized on the roof of the dressing room. Designer Linda Ousterbohm gave the customer a choice: if you want to sit in bed, you will have to enter the dressing room bowing. In order not to bang his head against the ceiling, the young man sacrificed the height of the cabinet.

In the photo: interior design of a studio apartment in monochrome

The previous owners tried to squeeze the maximum "heat" out of the interior of the apartment: beige walls, wooden furniture, flowers, carpets. The new owner wanted to keep the feeling of comfort, but add sophistication. In addition, he saw his home in a modern style. The designer suggested designing the studio in monochrome black and white. Light color for the walls gray color. “Luxury” to the interior is added by a countertop made of white marble on the kitchen. It is color that unites different furnishings - from antique lamps to modern ones. household appliances. They did not hide the kitchen in the interior - they simply entered it into the general concept, laying out the entire wall with white tiles with dark grout.

Other ideas from this apartment:

 • In a small hallway, an original clothes hanger can be made from an ordinary pipe.
 • The gray color of the walls serves as a good backdrop for white window frames and doors. good reception to draw attention to their beauty (if it is there, of course).
 • A light table and chairs make it possible to make a mobile dining area - it can be removed to the window, or it can be moved to the living room. In order not to disturb the composition with such movements, it is better to choose furniture with thin legs and a neutral color: black, white or gray.
 • Modern style interior posters are emphasized better than painting.

30 sqm apartment design in New York: smart simplicity
The studio of 30 square meters in the photo belongs to a lonely American pensioner who decided to settle next to his daughter and grandchildren in Manhattan. As soon as a small apartment was put up for sale in their house, he immediately bought it. The owner entrusted the design of a modest 30 sq.m studio apartment to architect Stephen Killcoin, asking for a “clean, elegant and timeless” interior. In addition, the customer wanted to have a separate bedroom.

First of all, all partitions were removed from the apartment, then functional zones were outlined in it - so that the space remained unified and open. The kitchen was moved into the hallway - the owner rarely cooks anyway. But there was space for a spacious living room combined with an office. However, the kitchen is not as simple as it might seem. The table top is made wider than traditional analogues, and additional drawers are designed above the bottom line of cabinets. The working area, rounding the corner, smoothly flows into the dining area.

Vertical blinds separate the bedroom from the living room: the wall seems to be solid from the entrance or from the sofa, but as soon as you step back a couple of meters, it becomes clear that this is not so. Two walls in the bedroom are occupied by wardrobes, so there was no room for a TV. The absence of a TV would have upset the owner, so the panel was fixed to the ceiling - if you look closely, you can see the shutters closing the “hatch” in the photo.

Other ideas from this apartment:

 • To make an apartment of 30 sq.m seem more spacious, it does not have hanging lamps and chandeliers - only built-in LED light.
 • Oak floors and maple fronts of cabinets are responsible for the feeling of warmth in the snow-white interior.
 • The upper cabinets in the kitchen are raised to the ceiling - this made it possible to do under them open shelves for spices.
 • The shower compartment is separated from the toilet by a glass wall with a door. A light alternative to a steam shower.
 • So that nothing distracts from the cleanliness of the lines in the bathroom, the designer found a sink with a toilet paper holder on the side.

Apartment design 28 sq.m in Berlin: everything is smooth
For studios under 30 square meters, minimalism is a win-win style. The Japanese and Germans especially love this genre in the interior, often taking it to extremes. However, if you like it, why not? In the case of this apartment in Berlin, everything turned out to be nowhere more successful. The owners renovated the studio for the intended tenant, who wouldn't have many things, rarely cook or eat at home, and generally come here to sleep and think. The current tenant turned out to be just that - moreover, he is an architect himself, able to appreciate the beauty of the experiment. In a completely snow-white apartment, there is a minimum of furniture: a bed, a table, a rocking chair, a metal cabinet and a white chest of drawers with a “secret”.

The bed is separated from the conditional kitchen-dining room by a partition to the ceiling, which can be bypassed to the right and left. Initially, it was not there, but the architect lacked the feeling of privacy in the bed.

The chest of drawers is actually a kitchen: under the opening lid there is a work surface, a microwave and a sink. The refrigerator is hidden in the lower cabinets. Dishwasher.

Only one of the walls - the one that has a kitchen-chest of drawers - is not white, but a complex green color. This is the native color of the walls in the apartment, which was revealed after the wallpaper was removed from them. The owners decided to leave one of them unpainted as an accent.

In fact, there are a lot of things in the apartment, you just can't see them. The wardrobe is located in the hallway. And a large closet with ten vertical sections is built into the entire length of the studio. All doors are handleless and open with push-to-open. Two of them are wider than the others: one leads to the bathroom, and the second - to the hallway.

Other ideas from this apartment:

 • Since the bedroom begins right from the entrance to the studio, a small entrance hall (distant opened door in the photo) closed the second door. This is not only a visual barrier, but also a kind of noise gateway.
 • A smooth dark floor makes the room feel even more spacious as it reflects light, adding depth to the space.
 • Wide low window sills are used as seating areas.
 • So that communications do not an eyesore (stroke old brick walls it was not appropriate everywhere), they were removed under the floor.

Design of an apartment of 30 sq.m in Brooklyn: wave to the village
The design project for a 30 sq.m studio apartment in New York is perhaps worth taking note of for those who would not like to build blank walls, but dream of a separate bedroom. The studio was designed by Lindsay Kaleo of the Brooklyn Home Company. Moreover, no one lived in the apartment during the renovation, so Lindsay was looking for inspiration in the magic of the old house. At some point, she came across exposed window frames with traces of paint and plaster - then the idea came up to make an unusual screen for a bed in a "rustic" style.

In the photo: design of a studio apartment of 30 sq.m in country style

The small size of the apartment did not leave much choice for the main color of the walls and furniture - they are white. The accents in the project are made on wooden details. So, contrasting false beams appeared on the ceiling - they set the country style, which is supported by vintage lamps with turned legs, a retro metal table, and an unusual bar table. However, there was a place for both a modern kitchen and a bookcase from IKEA.

The bedroom is separated from the hallway and the living room with the help of original walls made of whitewashed "stucco" laths. Slots are specially left between the rails, and the partitions themselves do not reach the ceiling - this way it gets into the closed zone sunlight. If necessary, white curtains can be drawn from the inside. The whole structure is built around an IKEA bed. The three paintings on the wood paneling of the bedroom were painted by an artist friend of Lindsay's. And he painted right here, on the spot, inspired by the interior.

Studio apartment 30 sq. m in Paris: layout (photo - below the link)

Apartment design 30 sqm in Paris: great wall
The highlight of the Parisian studio of 30 sq.m in the photo - the project of designer Richard Gibo - was a long closet that spans the entire wall of the apartment: it contains almost all the storage space.

Not only household items and clothes are hidden in this “wall”, but also a refrigerator, a wine cabinet, a food storage compartment and various little things for the bathroom. In order not to make the cabinet seem too massive, Richard used the technique of alternating textures: glossy white facades are replaced by birch inserts and niches illuminated by LEDs. This technique makes the eye perceive the structure as voluminous, and not flat and monolithic.

Many live in small apartments, and some even in miniature ones, and the total area of such housing is rarely more than 30 square meters. But, as it turned out, even in such a small room, house designers manage to place all the rooms that can be useful in everyday life.

In a modern studio apartment of 30 sq. m fit:

 • bedroom;
 • corridor;
 • kitchen;
 • bathroom.

In some variants of such a small area, you can often find even a small dressing room.

If you furnish the room correctly, you can feel great in such an apartment without any signs of discomfort.

Today, there are many ways to expand the space and make the layout of a studio apartment with an area of 30 square meters. m suitable for a normal and fulfilling life of two people.

Expanding space in a small apartment

The main attribute that should be in every interior of an apartment with an area of 30 square meters is mirrors. The more of them, the better, but in design, as elsewhere, you need to know when to stop.

Can hang mirrors so that they are opposite each other: this will visually make the walls wider, add more space. It is also worth interspersing them with matte ones so that the apartment does not turn into a mirror maze.

redevelopment

It is unlikely that anyone could have imagined before that in a one-room apartment you can place absolutely all the necessary things for life, while even expanding the space.

Even if you decide to buy a small apartment, but you are not satisfied with the layout of the rooms, you can always redevelop and make a cozy studio out of a small apartment. This applies not only to combining the kitchen and living room, but also the bathroom with a bathroom. To do this, at the entrance to the apartment, you will have to demolish the wall, which creates a small corridor for entering the kitchen. Thus, you will be able to expand the space, additionally filling it with light.

Functional changes in the layout of apartments of 30 sq. m and about (26-32 sq. m) are especially relevant for rooms in old houses, where right side From the entrance there is a toilet and a bathroom.

If you decide to combine a toilet with a bathroom, you will get several advantages at once. Of course, this is an expansion of space. But in addition, if the original layout of the apartment allows, you can move the kitchen wall or reduce the bathroom space a little.

Important! Do not be afraid to reduce the space of the bathroom. If you combine it with a bathroom, the area will become very large, which can be even half a meter, but reduced: this will be especially useful if you want to expand the kitchen.

We are planning changes

If you have moved into a new studio apartment and want to modify it a little, you should first draw a plan: sketch out on a piece of paper the layout that you want to see.

There are a few things to keep in mind when drawing up a plan:

 • sleeping place is best placed away from the front door;
 • most likely, the sanitary zone is located right next to the entrance, so think about redevelopment and combining the toilet and bathroom;
 • it is better to divide the living room into several zones: for guests and for the owners to relax. If you leave the studio apartment unchanged, then in the kitchen, most likely, there will not be enough space to put a large table. Therefore reasonable an alternative would be a window sill table or a bar counter.

Important! If you don't live on the ground floor and have a balcony, don't be afraid to connect it to the room. This will not only provide more space, but also add more light to the room.

It is worth noting that in addition to combining a room with a balcony, you should take care of warming the balcony area. Also, most likely, you will need to transfer heating radiators.

Sanitary zone

The bathroom is best decorated in light colors. However, do not rush to choose blue and blue shades. Most a good option– decorate the bathroom and toilet in deep, juicy colors. It is important to match correctly light color and dark, then it will be possible to beat some moments of a small quadrature.

White color always helps to visually expand the space., so you can arrange those places that are most susceptible to moisture ceramic tiles, and make the rest simply plastered.

Do not forget that the materials you choose for finishing the bathroom must be resistant to moisture.

The same requirement applies to whitewashing. If you don't want to renovate every two years, it's best to cover walls and ceilings. water-based paint. Then beautiful interior, the cleanliness and tidiness of the bathroom will be preserved for a long time.

Advice! In order to minimize the space of the sanitary zone, you should think about putting a shower cabin instead of a bathtub.

If at the same time to combine the resulting large kitchen with the living room, the space will be much larger, the room will become brighter.

Floor coverings

As far as flooring is concerned, better pick one, which could look good for the kitchen and for the living room. Most often for studio apartments 30 sq. m choose linoleum or tile.

Linoleum itself is warm and soft material. It is durable, easy to clean and has an optimal price. The tile has the same qualities, but, above all, it is resistant to mechanical stress.

If you still decide to lay different floor coverings for the kitchen and the room, you should not pick up parquet or laminate, as these materials do not tolerate constant wet cleaning.

Window

You should not go in cycles only in order to expand the room with the help of mirrors. This can be done by adding shiny mosaic on the slopes of the windows. This will help bring additional light into the apartment, and also make the small area of the room larger, bring a special zest with a claim to special originality.

Advice! Do not leave window sills in a studio apartment. It is better to make them, for example, kitchen table. This will save a lot of space: you will not need to put an additional table in order to equip a place where to dine.

You can also make a table-stand from such a window sill: the offer is especially relevant for fans of playing the synthesizer. Thanks to this design move, a person can not abandon his studies on musical instrument, but, on the contrary, play it more often, since the synthesizer will be in a prominent place.

studio walls

As for the walls in the interior of a studio apartment, it is best to design them in the form of a unique panel. If you want to keep minimalism, you can put a photo collage on the walls, while choosing as a background White color wallpaper. You can also glue contrasting wallpaper, but in the kitchen area, use an imitation of a brick wall.

Remember! All interior items and accessories should be matched to match and look beautiful. There should not be any extra things in the apartment: do not litter an already small dwelling with things that you may never need at all.

Can be placed in the bathroom washing machine: there should be enough space, especially if you install a shower stall instead of a bathtub.

If you are choosing a photo wallpaper for a small studio apartment, it is best to use photographs of an urban theme depicting cities and architectural landmarks: this will give the desired visual effect with a touch of minimalism, and here you certainly do not overdo it with mirrors.

It is important to place the furniture correctly and save the free area. Thanks to the possibilities of design skill with the help of various things, even small apartment can be made comfortable and convenient for living - both for one person and for two people.

Color spectrum

It is very important to choose the right color for the interior of any apartment, and for those who are content with 30 square meters. meters, this issue is no less relevant. We have already talked about what colors are best for the bathroom.

White color should prevail in the residential interior. It can be supplemented with other colors, for example, as in scandinavian style- beige, gray, blue.

Furniture and decor

Do not force the apartment the right things. You can and should decorate a room with useful items, for example, a beautiful colored service or bright pillows on the sofa. You can use purple and its shades, as well as gray in conjunction with white. Cold color together with bright shades can create a feeling of lightness and again expand the space.

It is worth remembering that in a small studio apartment on 30 squares it is not particularly possible to accelerate, and certainly put a huge amount necessary furniture you won't be able to do it indoors.

It is very important in such apartments with a limited area to observe minimalism in the setting and strive to fill the house with only really necessary things that are vital to you.

But no matter what the furniture, color will always matter. You need to pay attention to some design tricks with which you can make a visual illusion by expanding the space without making repairs.

Some may consider that a studio apartment of 30 sq. m refers to the economy class. Yes, this is basically true, but if you create the layout correctly and decorate the interior with taste, it can turn out to be a thousand times better than huge rooms that are cluttered big amount unnecessary things.

An apartment of thirty "squares" is a common housing option for one or two people. Such a compact area has a number of advantages, from affordable price to convenience in everyday life: everything you need is at hand. To equip a cozy and beautiful nest will help the professional design of a one-room apartment of 30 sq.m., examples of which are collected in this article.

Planning and zoning

At first glance, it may seem that a room of 6x5 meters is unrealistic to be divided into a full-fledged kitchen, living room and bedroom, because a bathroom and a corridor take up a few more squares, and there is very little space left for furniture. How to solve this difficult task in order to live comfortably in an apartment? The answer is simple: you need to stick to minimalism and pay more attention to vertical planes.

Currently, the actual layout of a one-room apartment is a studio. Its main distinguishing feature is the absence of internal partitions, due to which the room looks more spacious and brighter. On the other hand, not everyone likes it when every corner of the apartment remains open. In this case, you can look for compromise options using various kinds of screens or overall furniture.

All kinds of partitions allow dividing the apartment into separate functional zones - curtains and blinds, glass, wood, bamboo panels, plasterboard or wood-shaving materials, etc. However, when total area 30 sq.m. you should not abuse them - it is enough to protect only one part (usually the bedroom).

With a standard layout, it is worth considering the possibility of demolition internal walls between the kitchen, hallway and room. This will add even more space, and the apartment will become more spacious. Loggias are often used to expand housing - there you can equip a small office, put an additional folding bed or a compact dining table.

Space organization options

Create a comfortable environment in an apartment of 30 sq.m. techniques that are used in the design of small rooms will help. Their main goal is to correctly distribute free meters, organize the things necessary in everyday life and give housing an aesthetic look.

Niche

If initially the layout of the room does not provide for a secluded corner, you can organize it yourself. This option is ideal for a bedroom - just put a closet, curtain the open part with curtains or mount a translucent partition, and cozy zone provided for sleep.

Podium

The floor level raised by 50-60 cm simultaneously performs several functions: it forms extra bed for storage, zones the space and serves as the basis for the design of a separate mini-room. Inside such a kind of "scene" you can hide not only boxes with shoes, clothes, bedding, toys, but also a full-fledged pull-out bed. The upper "floor" is often left for a bedroom, a nursery or an office.

Bunk structures

The cascading arrangement of furniture does not surprise anyone in children's rooms, but is very rarely used in adult design, but for one-room apartments it fits perfectly - so, "mezzanines" above the hallway or living room can become quite cozy place for sleeping and reading, and drawer steps are useful for storing numerous things.

Interior style

When making a one-room apartment with an area of 30 sq.m. The choice of style solutions is somewhat limited. Colorful rustic and ethnic motifs, pompous classics, baroque and empire in a compact room will be completely out of place. All of these areas are characterized by an abundance of decor, richness of textures, memorable furniture and bright textiles - all this looks great in private homes, but a small apartment can be turned into a warehouse or a museum.

Based on this, in the design of one-room apartment it is better to give preference to modern minimalism. For those who like inclusions natural materials, you can advise the Scandinavian and Japanese style, as well as light Provence. Connoisseurs of innovation will suit functional hi-tech or futurism, and freedom-loving creative people will certainly appreciate the interior in loft and grunge style.

Color solutions

To make a small room look harmonious, you need to follow two simple rules- do not use more than 2-3 primary colors and choose the most light, neutral tones. You can add bright touches with the help of decor and textiles - things that are very easy to replace when you want to update the interior or decorate an apartment for some holiday.

As a base shade, most experienced designers prefer white. This color is indispensable for finishing the ceiling and walls, and recently it has become popular when painting furniture. Smooth snow-white sets, cabinets and shelving fit perfectly into any interior, filling it with light and lightness.

For surfaces that get dirty quickly, a more practical color is usually chosen. This group includes black-gray and beige-brown gamma, shades of wood. It is better if the texture remains monochromatic, without sharp contrasts, prints or large patterns. Dark rich tones are suitable for small accents - these can be narrow lines at the edges. furniture facades, frames, figurines.

If the chosen style allows, then in the kitchen or guest area you can put one large item that will attract everyone's attention - for example, a red retro refrigerator or a blue velor sofa.

Choosing between calm achromatic tones and bright colors, it is necessary to focus, first of all, on your own preferences. So, warm colors(yellow, orange, scarlet) can make the apartment more sunny and comfortable, and cool shades of water will create an atmosphere of peace and serene relaxation.

Design studio apartment 30 sq.m. Photo of interiors with one window

At the beginning of the article, I considered interesting designs apartments, if you noticed, many of them had two windows. Such happy owners are in the minority, because studios with one window are more common. But even this space can be zoned and ennobled.

Bright interior of the apartment with a spacious sofa.

The bed is fenced off, which allows daylight into the living area.

Places at the bar counter can take two people. This option is the most convenient when you want to make a full-fledged place of residence from one room.

Light walls lighten the space occupied by a lot of furniture.

Another option is when there is one window in a rectangular room. To highlight the zones, walls built up with drywall were used.

One of the walls is completely occupied by storage space. It also includes kitchen appliances.

The sleeping place is fenced off with a cloth.

The entire area of the apartment is divided in length, this technique began to be used more recently.
A small sofa allows you to arrange guests, and the cabinets above it are effectively used for things.

The small bathroom is equipped with a shower.

And here again manifested modern trend highlighting the lighting of the dining area by the device.

When zoning a room with one window, give preference to transparent materials or structures that let in the sun's rays. Also, open niches in the partition can serve as ventilation.

How to limit the bedroom from the kitchen and the bedroom from the living room

The desire to fence off a sleeping place always arises from the owners small apartments. And this became possible with the use of modern materials.

The walls were completed in the photo.

The sleeping and living areas are fenced off from the kitchen, which allows you to isolate yourself from the sounds of cooking and its smells.

The entire space of the room is divided by furniture into three zones: a bedroom, a living room and a dining area by the window. At small sizes used miniature pieces of furniture for two.

The whole interior is very light.

This option is also interesting in the arrangement of furniture. In fact, it can be taken as a basis for a standard interior solution for any studio. You can change the color scheme and the apartment will sparkle with new colors. me this saturated color wood, unexpectedly, soothes.

Studio interior with balcony

Since you always want to live more spaciously, the owners of small rooms insulate and attach balconies. Of course, they do it in the studios too.

Below are the options when the area of the loggia harmoniously fits into the overall interior.

When attaching a balcony, remember that it is impossible to dismantle the wall in panel houses so as not to damage the supporting structure of the high-rise building. Usually, only the window frame is removed and the place under it is made out.

I love looking at different kinds of interiors, they inspire and surprise. Tried to show you concise and harmonious options. I look forward to your comments and suggestions!

A small standard apartment can turn into a very cozy studio apartment, the design of which will take into account all the needs of the family living in it. The usual layout that separates living space for several rooms and a kitchen, usually small, can no longer provide modern comfort, all the more so for those apartments that have a small area, and at the same time serve as housing for two or more people. Below we consider several design options for studio apartments of different sizes.

Design of studio apartments from 14 to 25 sq. m.

A tiny studio apartment, on 14 "squares" of which it was necessary to fit both the kitchen and the living room, is a vivid example of the competent use of the studio layout. In the interior of the hallway, next to the door to the bathroom, a mini-dressing room was placed, opposite it was kitchen furniture with a worktop and built-in appliances. The refrigerator was placed on the border with the living room - it serves as a separating element. In addition, a curtain was hung between the kitchen-entrance and living areas to make the room more intimate.

In the interior of the living room there was a place not only for a sofa bed, but also for a separate seating area, which at the same time serves as a dining area. I had to abandon the standard furniture - this saved precious centimeters of space. All furniture was made "in place" and endowed with several functions at once.

The dining table flips and slides down to take up space between soft chairs- and the whole structure turns into a comfortable couch - an additional resting place or a guest bed. Boxes for storing household items are placed under the chairs, in addition, there is a large drawer under the sofa and a wardrobe, finished with narrow mirror stripes - they visually increase the small area of the room.

Gray and white are the main colors in the design of the studio, allowing you to make the space larger and brighter. They are harmoniously complemented wooden details natural wood colors. Turquoise and lemon colors in textile details give the interior brightness and expressiveness.

Design project of a small studio apartment (area 20 sq. m.)

Minimalist style is taken as the basis for the interior design of the studio. Immediately from the entrance, a voluminous storage system begins, turning in the bedroom-living room into two separate tiers of shelves above and below, between which a TV area and a worktop of the home office desktop are built. Behind the bathroom is the kitchen, separated from the hallway by its own storage system with a built-in work surface.

In the design of the studio apartment, the L-shaped arrangement of kitchen furniture allows you to allocate space for a small bar counter that also serves as a dining area.

Near the window there is a living room, which turns into a bedroom at night - a large sofa unfolds, forming a comfortable sleeping place for two.

Main idea of the project- mirror sliding partition separating the kitchen and living room. Each of the three parts of this partition moves independently of the others, so the room and the kitchen can be separated partially or completely. The mirror surface visually almost doubles the space and complicates it due to the play of reflections, which brings depth and volume to the interior.

Design studio apartment in orange and white (22 sqm)

The main idea of the project was the "wall" separating the hallway and the kitchen. From the side of the entrance part of the studio apartment, there is a wardrobe for clothes, arranged according to the “compartment” principle and equipped with mirrored doors so as not to reduce the space. The end part of the “wall” faces the sofa in the living room, so a TV panel has found its place here, providing watching movies and TV shows.

The sofa at night unfolds, it turns out a comfortable place to sleep. The window sill in the living room has been replaced with a countertop that serves as both a dining area and a home office desk.

On the other side of the "wall" facing the window, a kitchen is built into it - the actual work surface and cabinets below and above it. All the necessary appliances were placed there, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.

From the "kitchen" - access to the balcony, turned into a lounge area. White color in the design of furniture and walls visually increases the volume of the room, and juicy yellow as an accent color creates a joyful, sunny mood.

Design of studio apartments from 25 to 30 sq. m.

Design of a rectangular studio apartment with one window (area 29 sq. m.)

The layout of the studio of a small area - 29 sq. m. - was initially very uncomfortable: a narrow room, elongated in length, had one window in the end wall, which excluded the division into two separate rooms. However, in the allotted space it was necessary to place both the living room and the cooking area.

The entrance hall was traditionally planned - the bathroom is located opposite the spacious wardrobe. Behind the entrance of the studio apartment there is a kitchen - a wardrobe continues with a kitchen storage system with a built-in household appliances, opposite which is an angular work surface with a number of cabinets under it and closed hanging shelves on top. The kitchen ends with a small bar - it is located exactly on the border with the living room.

The living room is small - a comfortable sofa and a TV panel on the wall opposite it. However, its presence is a big plus, as it allows you to watch TV without disturbing someone who has already gone to rest. Near the only window there is a bedroom, it includes a double bed and a small console table that acts as a dressing room. Next to it is a comfortable ottoman.

The main idea of the project- partition separating the living room and bedroom. It has round holes that allow daylight into the interior of the room. In addition to increasing light, these holes add interesting light spots to the interior, creating the effect of movement and softening the strict black and white minimalist design.

Scandinavian style studio design (28 sqm)

The main idea of the design of a studio apartment- the use of white in combination with the natural color and texture of wood.

The unsuccessful L-shaped layout was visually balanced with the help of a pillar-column on the border of the kitchen and living areas, and the lack of natural light in the kitchen was compensated by the internal lighting of the cabinets.

The combination of white walls, ceiling, furniture with warm wood floors, countertops, a folding table and bar stools in the mini-dining area in the living room creates a bright, airy interior that is very cozy at the same time.

Colors in the interior are added by bright lilac textile elements - sofa cushions and a carpet under the coffee table.

The interior of a one-room studio apartment of 30 sq. m. in a Khrushchev-built house

One-room "Khrushchev" as a result of the demolition of the walls received additional space. Two windows were a big plus of the apartment - this allowed creating a bright, modern living space.

White and light gray shades are the main tones of the interior, which are organically complemented by the light texture of wood. As bright color accents two posters in red and yellow were placed on the wall.

The studio apartment has four zones - entrance, living room-bedroom, office and kitchen. They are visually separated by different shades floors and walls.

One of the main design ideas for a studio apartment is to create cozy interior where you can comfortably relax and work, and at the same time there is enough space for storing household items. To do this, a large closet of the "compartment" system was placed in the living room, the color merging with the walls and almost invisible to the eye. Shelves for books were hung above the work table, and the kitchen was equipped with two tiers of closed shelves.

Things "with history" - old desk, cast iron as a support for books and vintage mirror- bring to the interior a special mood associated with family memories, and designer chairs dining table give the interior a modern touch.

Design of studio apartments from 30 to 35 sq. m.

Studio apartment in a modern style, 32 sq. m.

The window in this small studio is custom-sized - it is smaller in height than regular windows. To correct this shortcoming, the designers used two tricks: the window itself was closed vertical blinds"to the floor", which made it possible to hide its real dimensions.

Light was added with the help of ceiling lighting and an abundance of reflective surfaces in the design and interior - these are glossy tiles on the floor, and transparent plastic chairs at the bar counter, and glossy finish of furniture facades. In combination with an abundance of light sources, this technique made it possible to achieve a spectacular perception of the interior.

Designers turned an inconvenient ledge in the room into a visually distinguished study.

The bedroom in the design of the studio apartment is separated from the rest of the zones by a “wall”, which from the side of the hallway is a spacious storage system, in the living room it is a deep bookshelves, and from the side of the bedroom - open niches, the lower of which serves as a bedside table.

Studio apartment 33 sq. m.

Aged in traditional style, this studio apartment caters for all the needs of a small family. For two, it is very comfortable, despite its compact size. The beige-brown range of finishes gives the interior warmth and comfort.

There are no walls that block the rooms, but the sleeping place in the interior is hidden from view in a niche formed by a spacious storage system from the hallway. The entrance to the niche is covered with a light but dense curtain, providing an intimate setting.

There was enough space for the dining area - a round table on the border of the living room and kitchen will comfortably accommodate three.

Laconic design of a studio apartment with a separate bedroom (area 34 sq. m.)

The design of the studio apartment is designed in white, which makes the furniture invisible against the background of the walls. A rough wooden coffee table and thick bough stools next to it emphasize the Scandinavian style of the interior. National patterns on sofa cushions add color.

The combination of white surfaces with natural wood and natural, natural colors makes this interior truly stylish.

The main idea of the project- bedroom allocated with glass partitions, complemented by thick curtains. This makes it possible to create the intimacy of the main zone in the room, and at the same time not create the impression of a cluttered space.

Design of studio apartments from 35 to 42 sq. m.

In this project, the functional areas are separated not only visually, due to the difference in finishing materials. Additionally, they are separated in space by different levels, which complicates the perception of the interior and makes it more interesting. Each of the zones also has its own lighting.

The bedroom in the design of the studio is raised to the podium and separated by a partition of glass panels from the living room - in this way decorative panel on the wall of the bedroom is visually included in the common space. On the podium, in addition to the bed, there is a large wardrobe for clothes and various household items.

Adjacent to the bedroom is the sofa in the living room. In the interior of the living room there are two comfortable workplaces, above which there are shelves for books.

Studio apartment with bar counter, 40.3 sq. m.

The layout of the studio is quite traditional, it has all the standard areas: entrance, living room, bedroom, kitchen.

Since the studio apartment belongs to a young family, the designers decided to experiment and applied non-standard moves in design and decoration. So, the wooden floor "rises" on the wall in the living room.

The kitchen and the living room in the design of the studio are separated by a high bar counter, where it is convenient to receive guests.

The traditional armchair was replaced with a soft pouffe chair, and graphic black accents were boldly added to the bright interior: this is a curtain that separates the bed from the rest of the room, and lamps, and furniture, and black intersecting lines on the outer wall of the bathroom, overlooking the living room, and in the hallway and in the kitchen.

The design of the kitchen in the studio apartment deserves special consideration. It is compact but roomy. It is visually separated from the living space of the studio apartment by the bar and the flooring - here it is porcelain stoneware, in contrast to the wooden one in the living room.

Wall cabinets in the interior occupy only one of the walls, the other is left free - only a round hood is fixed on it, located above hob. The light wood worktop and the same bar counter are in harmony with the wooden facades of the top row of cabinets. In the design of the studio, black hanging lamps above the bar emphasize zoning.

Loft style design (studio area 42 sq.m.)

Loft is a style that allows even a small space to be decorated quite interestingly and unusually, without losing functionality.

Cleaned to brickwork outer wall made the main decorative element interior and painted white, slightly darkening the seams and masonry defects. Visual zoning is implemented through a contrasting floor covering, as well as by building an elevation of the bedroom level.

The kitchen and living room in the design of the studio apartment are combined and have access to the lounge area, arranged on the balcony. One of the living room walls is painted in dark gray, which gives the room depth, and in combination with white ceilings and light wood floors, it looks very impressive, at the same time without darkening the room.

The bedroom in the interior is highlighted - it is raised to the podium and separated by sliding doors. The bedroom has a small dressing room and a wardrobe for storing various things. The wall at the head of the bed is covered with wallpaper with patterns in the Scandinavian style, the same style is sustained flooring in hallway design.
