Drinking regime at school. Five oddities found in the modern Russian school

If the locality where the school is located does not have central water supply, best solution The question of the water supply of the school is the installation of an intra-house water supply. Such a water supply can be fed with water either from a well (tube or mine), or from a nearby river (lake).

Water is pumped through pipes through a pump to a attic or in a special water tower tank-reservoir, from where it is directed by gravity along descending risers to indoor taps.

The device of an intra-house school water supply makes it possible to provide the school with central heating and water closets.

To improve the quality and neutralize drinking water, water is either filtered through special filters made of porcelain or diatomaceous earth, or through room sand filters, or boiled.

Especially to ensure drinking water schools, several types of so-called indoor sand filters have been proposed. Room sand filters, freeing water from suspended turbidity, however, do not provide a guarantee of its release from bacterial pollution; therefore, at the slightest suspicion of the danger of water contamination by infectious microbes, the water filtered through such filters should be boiled.

Boiling is the most in a reliable way neutralization of water to meet the drinking needs of small groups, in particular schools. Boiling should continue for 10-15 minutes. Water is boiled in a container that does not change the chemical and taste properties of water. In this regard, preference should be given to tinned dishes.

In a small rural school for the preparation of boiled water, you can use an ordinary samovar, well tinned.

In providing drinking water to students, especially great importance acquire two points: a) storage of boiled water, b) drinking utensils. Drinking water in schools that are forced to use boiled water is stored in special tanks - with lids that are locked to prevent contamination of the water with dirty hands.

Tanks for storing boiled water are made of good galvanized or enameled iron, even better - from stainless steel sheets, but in no case from painted iron, since paint often gives the water an unpleasant aftertaste. Good material for cisterns it is necessary to recognize burnt clay. The tank should be thoroughly washed and rinsed daily at the end of classes. hot water and tip over to dry until the next morning. It is unacceptable to leave water residues in the tank from yesterday.

The existing water drinking utensils at school - a mug - can serve as a way for the transmission of infection from the oral cavity of one child (diphtheria, scarlet fever, influenza, etc.) to other children.

The best guarantee against such a danger is the use of so-called fountains, in which a jet of water falls directly into the mouth of the drinker. This excludes the use of circles. In those places where the plumbing supplies perfectly good quality water, such a fountain, included directly in water supply network, should definitely replace the mug.

In those cases when you have to use exclusively boiled water for drinking, such fountains turn out to be of little practical. Bulk fountains require a large unproductive consumption of water and, therefore, frequent loading of the tank with a new portion of boiled water. In practice, this often leads to the actual absence of drinking water in the tanks after the first or second change.

In the event of the inevitability of using mugs for drinking, it is necessary to categorically demand the rejection of the practice of one mug at the tank, and even more so an enameled mug, in which the enamel is quickly knocked off along the side of the edge and food remains and saliva from the oral cavity with bacteria in them get stuck in the resulting potholes. In this case, it is necessary to use glass glasses, and each tank must have a possibility more glasses, at least at the rate of at least one glass for 8-10 students. Glasses should be stored on a shelf hanging from the wall near the tank, which is divided into two halves, painted in contrasting colors (white and dark blue or another). In one half (white) are placed clean, washed glasses, in the other (dark) - used. Appropriate inscriptions are made on each half of the shelf: “clean glasses”, “dirty glasses”. Cleaners should regularly go around all cisterns and wash used glasses. When using large quantity cups, even if children used to drink already used ones, there is still a huge advantage over a single mug, since there is less risk of spreading infection.

At school, water, in addition to its drinking purpose, also plays a huge role in maintaining sanitary regime schools and especially in providing the most advanced methods of sewage disposal (installation of water closets). Therefore, if there is no city or village water supply in a given settlement, it is advisable, as indicated above, to design a local house water supply during the construction of a school.

In the presence of a central or house water supply, it is advisable to arrange washbasins-showers with water supply directly from the water supply. During the winter months, the water in such washbasins turns out to be excessively cold, which makes the very process of washing unpleasant - up to the appearance of pain in the hands. To eliminate this circumstance, it is desirable to include the same tank with a ball valve in the supply pipe of the water supply system, which are arranged for flushing latrines. In such a tank, which is also located in the upper, more heated parts of the room, the water temperature will be constantly maintained at room level. The capacity of the cistern should be calculated depending on the number of washbasins to be installed and the number of children for whom the washbasins are designed. The number of faucets in school washbasins should be determined at the rate of at least 1 faucet per 30 students. In boarding schools and kindergartens, 1 tap is calculated for 7-10 children.

And to clean the gym, you need to complain to the director for weeks

In order for the cleaning lady to clean the gym, it takes weeks to write complaints to the director, in a small corner of the locker room 70-80 children change clothes, and there is always no drinking water in the cooler. Savings on everything and everyone is the modern reality of our school. At the same time, parents are forced to spend precious time not only on purchasing elementary things for the classroom, but also on sculpting endless petitions addressed to the administration, because without them, even elementary hygiene standards will be abandoned in schools.

Several years have passed since the merger of Moscow schools into educational complexes, but the mess in educational institutions not only does not stop, but, on the contrary, sometimes reaches almost insanity. In addition to total savings on education, every year officials send more and more new directives and instructions to the administration of educational institutions, from which children and their parents suffer first of all.

Concerned mothers and fathers told what was going on in one of the complexes in the south-west of the capital. Absolutely the same thing now seems to be happening in one form or another in almost every Moscow school.

We have long been accustomed to the fact that parents should buy everything in the classroom: toilet paper, towels, rags for the board, soap and much more. But now this, it turns out, is not enough, - says Svetlana, the mother of a second-grader. - Every school year begins with the fact that parents have to scribble complaints from the administration so that at least something is done at school. Otherwise, at least take a rag and instead of work, go and clean the school instead of a cleaner.

Last year, in order to start cleaning the gym in our complex at least once a week, we bombarded the director with complaints throughout the parallel. It was possible to get through to the administration only after 2 weeks, before that, each time the child's sports uniform after physical education resembled a doormat.

This year, from the very first days, it was discovered that the administration had sealed the school locker room. Prior to this, in a small nook, an area of about 4 square meters. two classes huddled together, now a third was also assigned to it, in total that's about 80 second graders.

Every morning there is a terrible crowd in the locker room, the children do not even have enough hooks, as a result, things are hung one on top of the other, - explains another parent of the child of the complex. - Last year, my daughter already lost two pairs of shifts due to a mess in the locker room, for us this is a tangible blow to family budget. It's hard for me to imagine what will happen this year, I'm afraid, and Winter Jacket will disappear.

To our dissatisfaction, the school administration justifies that the reorganization process, during which only the elementary school should remain in our building, has not yet been completed. As soon as all the senior classes leave for the neighboring building, there will be enough locker rooms for everyone. This, of course, is great, but, according to our calculations, this will happen exactly when our children also graduate from the “primary school”, that is, in 2-3 years.

The absurdity of the situation in Moscow schools also lies in the fact that in some matters, as in the story with the locker room, the administration easily violates all sanitary norms, and in others - with foam at the mouth protects them, as usual, to the detriment of the interests of parents and schoolchildren.

For example, this is what happens with drinking water in classrooms, on which our state also regularly saves. According to the rules, each class should have a cooler, and it really does. That's just about 2-3 times less water and plastic cups are allocated for it than required by schoolchildren per month. Sometimes for a whole week the teacher needs to beg the caretaker for a full bottle of water.

Glasses, of course, parents secretly bring to class themselves, officially it is forbidden to do this, but it is simply impossible to sneak a 20-liter bottle on the sly, - says Svetlana. - At the very first meeting, a “Memo to parents on the drinking regime at school” was announced, which explains the conditions under which it is possible to organize an additional drinking point in the classroom. It’s impossible to simply order bottles of water for an existing cooler, you must definitely install your own device, the decision to purchase which is drawn up in a protocol signed by all consenting parents.

At the same time, such a package of documents should be submitted for the cooler and water, which no sane parent would agree to collect - it will cost more. Therefore, as in the old good times, parents put the child in an already too heavy backpack by all standards, and drinking water.

Statistics show that in the conditions of modernization of education, parents are increasingly transferring absolutely healthy children to home schooling. But really, what’s the point of going to school if we are constantly being convinced that the child’s academic success depends on the parent, and again, we ourselves must restore order at the school and provide it with everything necessary.

Whether or not we are supposed to transfer the child to a gentle mode at school.

Hello. But such a regime does not exist.

Do I have the right to extra payment for daytime security, we don’t have it in a rural school if we carry out access control, we have been working as cleaners since 2013 and have never paid extra for access control. Can you answer in more detail, thanks in advance.

Hello Olga! You don't have to work for others for free. You should perform only the work that is defined by your employment contract. You yourself understand everything perfectly. Your employer is acting out. You agree with his actions and do not object to them in any way. All the best!

The cleaner must have job description which is an integral part of the employment contract. If there is none, then the duties of the cleaner's position are spelled out in the employment contract itself. states: The employee must: conscientiously fulfill their labor duties assigned to him by the employment contract; The employee is NOT obliged to fulfill the obligations not assigned to him by the employment contract, if he was not assigned this work additionally with the appropriate registration and the corresponding surcharge (Article 60.2 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). Therefore, if you agree to comply extra work, then you can require the employer to conclude with you supplementary agreement to employment contract, which will indicate your additional duties and additional payment for their implementation. If the employer refuses to issue and pay - do not do additional work. You can complain to the labor inspectorate.

They are not satisfied with the school schedule - 93% of parents are against classes starting at 14:00 and ending at 19:00 (it is already very dark outside at this time, because there is no transfer to summer time as in previous years). Parents are concerned about the safety of their children, who have to return home at night. Many parents do not have the opportunity to meet their children from school. What if something happens to the child on the way from school?
Repeated collective written appeals to the director of the school and the Department of Education about the postponement of the start time of classes from 14-00 to 13-00 did not give any result. We are denied, referring to the requirements of SanPiN 2.4.22821-10 (section 10), that according to all calculations, the start time for the second shift is not earlier than 14-00. Parents are really afraid for the life of their children. What can be done in this situation?

Try filing a complaint with the Attorney General.

At the school in Podolsk, access to drinking water is organized only through a vending machine with drinks. The cost of one half-liter bottle is 35.0 rubles. There is no alternative. The dining room is not supplied with water bottles. There are no coolers either. How legal is it?

Good afternoon! Please contact the Department of Education Administration for clarification. In my opinion, educational institutions you should not be obligated to buy water, as for the machine, there must be appropriate agreements and approvals for its installation. If the administration cannot explain anything, then write an appeal in writing and wait for a response.

This is absolutely illegal. Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation of July 23, 2008 N 45 "On approval of SanPiN 2.4.5.2409-08" (together with "SanPiN 2.4.5.2409-08. The school requires students to donate money for drinking water. Does the school have the right to these fees, and on the basis of what documents can one refuse to donate money?

School staff have no right to demand anything. The initiative for fundraising should come from the parents, or rather, the parent committee. Decisions are made at parent meetings.

Complaining to the Department of Education usually resolves these issues.

The question is, what mode of operation is set in schools in Russia? In our school, the director announced that from 8 to 17-00, while the children were allowed to go to school only at 7-50 - 8-00, if they arrived earlier than this time, they stand and wait near the school door. Is this legal and where should I file a complaint? Thank you!

Write a complaint to the Department of Education. Children are not allowed to be kept on the street. GOOD LUCK TO YOU

At school, parents are required to purchase and install a cooler with drinking water in the classroom. Is it legal? And who, according to the law, should organize the drinking regime at school?

If it is the needs of the school, the school buys it. If the needs of the class are parents (by general agreement)

Is it possible to prescribe in the Charter of the school that the mode of study of students is regulated by the local act of the school. That is, do not prescribe in the charter specifically the duration of 40 or 45 minutes of the lesson, but prescribe it in the regulation.

Hello! Yes, you can write. Good luck to you!

My son on parole had violations due to not appearing on time at the mark, the hourly schedule and passes to school, this was in 2014, for which we extended the period by 2 months. Now, when there is 1 month left until the end of the term, I have filed for cancellation probation for violations, was not at home on time, was at a different address with his mother, the husband explained to the inspectors, and for skipping school. Can they punish us for 2014 if we have already been punished or will they punish us for 2015 and what will happen to us?

Svetlana. What shines for you can only guess.

My child is in 1st grade. In our school, the administration has established access control, guards have been set up that prevent parents from visiting the school, they are forbidden to go with their children to the locker room (to help the child change clothes). Protection is paid for by the parents. Question: Is it legal? On what grounds does the administration prohibit parents from visiting the school? What should we parents do - call the police every time?

Payment is at the expense of the parents, but the contract is concluded with the school. Therefore, it is necessary to resolve this issue with the pedagogical team. Otherwise, insist that the funding will stop.

The principal of the school decided to introduce access control for children at the school and limit the access of parents to a minimum or even not let some of them in at all. There are no specialized security guards at the school; they are guarded by technicians where this has been seen. Is this legal and what should parents do if the school is in chaos and the director just needs to fill his pocket. For everything else, do not care, please help the children, then in total there are 100 people studying at the school.

there are only 100 children in the school. WRITE A COMPLAINT IN EARLY. WILL NOT HELP - TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. STATE THE FACTS CLEARLY, GOOD LUCK TO YOU

The drinking regime is not respected at the school. Children drink from the tap. Where to apply? The director takes no action. Cases of intestinal diseases are known at school.

Contact Rospotrebnadzor, the prosecutor's office.

A sudden drug test isn't the weirdest thing that can happen at a school. Children and teachers live by special laws that ordinary people may seem strange. About the oddities of school life - the correspondent of "City 812" and the mother of two schoolchildren.

To Ulera allowed. Water banned

Going to school is a big stress for parents. Academic year for them it always starts with a parent meeting. And the meeting begins with the janitor Maria Ivanovna. She has been a watchman for forty years. Recently, she began to introduce progressive cleaning technologies: she gives shoe covers to parents so that the school does not get dirty.

Which class? - asks everyone.
- The first "b"!
- You did not hand over shoe covers! - Maria Ivanovna swears and does not give shoe covers.
The dirty path stretches into the first "b".

For those who have not studied at school for a long time: the interiors of the classrooms have not changed much over the past half century. Wooden desks and chairs. Violets in pots. Chalk at the blackboard. From the modern: there is an LCD TV (parents gave), a cooler, double-glazed windows on the windows and iron doors to the classroom to protect the TV.

Of the oddities: there is never any water in the cooler. Not because it ended, but because it was banned. Who banned it and why is a dark story. Either the SES - after someone somewhere got poisoned with water from a cooler, or the school principal - after she found out that the SES banned someone. Drinking fountains, by the way, have not been in schools for a long time either (in some they used to be) - they were banned even earlier. teachers primary school Tell children to bring water bottles from home. They say you can ask for water in the medical room or in the dining room. But you still need to get there. There is only one left for the children. fast way get drunk - in the toilet from the tap. Well, isn't it strange to ban coolers and fountains, if schoolchildren now drink in the toilet?

Not enough for soap

Another oddity. There is no soap in the school toilets. And toilet paper. And hand dryers. Why?

So that the children do not indulge, - they explain.
How can you indulge in soap? Eat? Soap the school?
Toilet paper, paper towels and soap are bought by parents. AT elementary school all of this is stored in the class.

Teachers have developed a special technology for children - how to properly go to the toilet when there is neither soap nor paper. You have to act like this. Before going there, a schoolboy, while still in class (!) must lather his hands and unwind toilet paper. Then run to the toilet. Do (with soapy hands!) your business. Wash the hands. Back to class. Wipe your hands. It can be different. Take everything with you: soap, paper, towel. Considering that running from the classroom to the toilet through the entire corridor is not an easy task even for a third-grader.

It is clear that in practice such methods lead to the fact that students simply do not wash their hands. Parents say that some shy children have this " pedagogical technology»Complexes are developed and illnesses are earned.

When junior schoolchildren go to breakfast, the teacher makes sure that everyone washed their hands. But there is a sink near the dining room, but there is no soap either. Therefore, the teacher is still in the class dripping on everyone's hands liquid soap. Children should carry it in their palms to the dining room and wash it off there. Sometimes the teacher takes a bottle of soap with him.

This year, 93 billion rubles were allocated from the city budget for education. Well, isn't it strange that there wasn't enough for soap?

More on window frames there are no pens in the school halls. Do not open windows without handles. Why?
The explanation is the same: "So that the children do not indulge."

What if there's a fire?
- In case of fire, according to the rules, only there should be no bars on the windows. And there is nothing about pens in the rules - this is such an explanation.

Lunch with coupons from the cloakroom

Eating lunch in elementary school is as difficult as going to the bathroom. They don't sell lunch in the dining room for money - only for coupons and only complex. First you need to buy a ticket, then exchange it for food. Coupons are sold twice a week - and not in the dining room, but in the cloakroom. If a student suddenly gets hungry, an unpleasant story can turn out. This happened to one of my first grade friends. For lunch at school, his mother gave him 400 rubles. He once went to the dining room, ate. Returned home without money.

Where's the money? the mother asks.
- I paid for lunch and for coupons, - the son answers.
- Well, let's say you ate dinner. Where are the coupons? - does not believe the mother.
They said they were done...
- Why did you pay the money if the coupons ran out?
“They promised that they would feed me four more times for free,” the first grader cries.

The next day, the first-grader went to the cafeteria and asked for the change or coupons back. Fortunately, in the dining room they remembered him and returned the money. And then mom bought the coupons in the wardrobe.

How to make disposable textbooks reusable

Amazing things happen with textbooks. At the first parent-teacher meeting, all parents, under dictation, wrote statements addressed to the principal of the school: “Please accept for free permanent use study guides...”, and then - a list of benefits that we all bought by the first of September. The list was released back in May. I spent about three thousand rubles.

By law, schools must provide textbooks to all children free of charge. Billions are allocated from the budget for this too. Where does the money go? Maybe steal?

But if you look at it, then the schools are not to blame for the fact that they do not have enough textbooks. It is estimated in the budget that one school book should last five years. First graders unlearned them - handed over to the library - on next year they were given to other first graders. And so five times. But! Textbooks and exercise books used by children are disposable. In the literal sense, since the authors specifically created them that way - interactive. According to their idea, children should complete tasks right in the books. But you can't hand over completed textbooks to the library. Therefore, teachers get out, turning disposable textbooks into reusable ones. Children are forbidden to write and draw in them. From this, their interactive meaning, of course, is lost, but the book can be passed on to the next generation.

Some naughty students complete assignments right in the books. Teachers suffer greatly from this. Our teacher, for example, complained that at the end of the year she sat all night with an eraser in her hands, erasing inscriptions. This year she asked for help from the parent committee. Workbooks that are integral part interactive textbooks, parents still have to buy their own.

A little about the textbooks themselves. They are large (larger than a landscape page), thin and soft-bound. They hardly fit in school backpacks, but they wrinkle and tear perfectly.

These wonderful disposable textbooks are included in educational program"School 2100". In 2008, its creators received the State Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation. After that, it began to be planted in all schools of the country. But the program turned out to be bad, and now it has been abandoned almost everywhere. Its authors - David Feldstein, Shalva Amonashvili, Rustem Buneev and others - managed to write many one-time textbooks. Suspicions are creeping in that their "interactivity" was not a pedagogical but a commercial find of the authors, who counted on the fact that their books would be bought every year. Moreover, the creators of the "School 2100" are directly interested in this. They created the Balass publishing house, which actually has a monopoly on these textbooks and prints them.

Well, isn't it strange: they themselves came up with the program, they wrote the textbooks themselves, they print them themselves, they sell them themselves. And what about education?

Entertaining citizen of Russia

A few more amazing things. This is an extracurricular activity (VNU). Essentially, this extra classes that children should visit after school in order to "develop in a comprehensive way." Probably VNU was conceived as free clubs - like those that worked in schools in Soviet time. But since additional teachers are not supposed to do this, teachers are forced to organize VNU on their own. It turns out so-so. Here are examples of the names of some VNU circles that are opened in schools: “I am a citizen of Russia”, “Entertaining Russian language”, “In the world of morality”, “Growing up strong and healthy” (this is not physical education, but lectures on healthy way life). Even for adults it sounds boring.

Visiting VNU is voluntary-compulsory. Children perceive them as a continuation of the lessons. Those who do not want to go must bring a certificate that they "develop themselves comprehensively" in another place, for example, in a dance club. The certificate must be with a blue seal and indicating how many hours a week the child is employed there.

Children who stay at school for an after-school period cannot refuse VNU. Because the prolongation begins only after the VNU ends. Probably, children on the extension will grow up to be the most comprehensively developed.

In general, the school is a surprisingly strange place. .
