What is the best liquid soap dispenser? Instructions for use liquid soap dispensers

Today, experienced housewives are increasingly choosing liquid soap dispensers instead of conventional soap dishes. And this is not surprising. The convenience and hygiene of this device will be discussed in this article.

Peculiarities

You may have noticed that water is constantly retained in an ordinary soap dish after using soap, and stagnant moisture is an excellent environment for the appearance and reproduction of fungal bacteria. Therefore, it is imperative to keep the soap dish clean and dry, but there is not always time to focus on this. Therefore, convenient dispensers have replaced ordinary soap dishes. They are extremely easy to use and keep clean, in addition, they have a very beautiful and stylish appearance. There are a huge variety of different models of dispensers on the market, so choosing a device according to your criteria will not be difficult.

Unlike conventional bar soap, liquid soap dispensers are hygienic. It has a rich aroma and is more economical to use. Therefore, more and more often you can meet them in public places and places of large crowds of people. And rightly so, it is unlikely that anyone will want to wash their hands with an incomprehensible bar of soap, which hundreds of people have washed their hands before, or maybe he still managed to lie somewhere. A fragrant, beautifully colored liquid soap in a dispenser is another matter.

Despite the fact that the purpose of such a device as a dispenser (dispenser) is simple and clear, manufacturers are trying to surprise their customers with new types and models of equipment. So before buying, be sure to check out the possible options for dispensers. The choice of them on the market is quite large, and they all have a wide classification in several areas.

Kinds

As mentioned above, there are a lot of types of dispensers. The choice depends on your budget, as well as on the functionality you need. To do this, you need to understand the advantages and differences of some models from others.

Briefly, the entire range of dispensers can be divided into:

  • mechanical;
  • elbow;
  • sensory.

Mechanical liquid soap dispensers are the most popular dispensers in the household. They operate on the principle of pressing a button. In this case, the required amount of soap is dispensed. If it was not enough, you can repeat the process. It is a necessary accessory for a bathroom or kitchen, which has a nice price and a huge variety of different designs and options. You can easily find what suits you.

Elbow dispensers are activated by elbow pressure. These are highly hygienic devices because they allow you to avoid manual contact with its elements. The soap dosage is also determined by pressing the elbow on the dispenser lever. Often these types of dispensers can be found in medical facilities or in kitchens in the catering system, where it is extremely important to maintain absolute hygiene. The cost of such mechanisms is low, but most likely they will not fit the house in their appearance. Too simple and unremarkable.

Sensor dispensers can also be called automatic or non-contact. These are the most advanced models that allow you to completely avoid physical contact with the device, providing one hundred percent hygiene. In order to use soap, just put your hands to the dispenser, and it will automatically give you a metered amount of liquid. As a rule, such devices are powered by C or D batteries. These batteries have a fairly long life, so they will last for a large number of operations. You don't need to change them often. Dispensers installed in public areas can be mains-operated or have the ability to run on both batteries and electricity. In terms of cost, these are the most expensive devices; it is not always advisable to use them at home.

According to the type of attachment, dispensers are wall-mounted, desktop and built-in. Wall mounted dispensers are great for use in public areas or small home bathrooms to save space. They usually have a convenient button to press, a reliable pump and a viewing window that allows you to control the level of soap in the device. The floor double dispenser can be opened with a key.

Tabletop dispensers are popular for use in the kitchen or bathroom. They have a huge design range to meet the requirements of any interior. The built-in mechanism dispenses soap, thereby saving its consumption. Such dispensers do not cause inconvenience during their care, they are quite easy to unwind and wash inside and out if necessary. Such dispensers are made of moisture-resistant and wear-resistant materials, they can be of various shapes, colors and have an affordable price.

Embedded devices are distinguished by their stylish look. The mortise soap container is hidden under the tabletop, which creates free space on top. You don't have to go under the sink to refill the tank. As a rule, you can add soap to the device from above. The dispenser is easy to install and easy to use. The body and feed tube are made of high-strength plastic, which eliminates the occurrence of corrosion under the influence of water and chemical detergents. The disadvantages of this device include its high cost.

For a room where food is prepared, it is advisable to choose a kitchen hanging or hanging appliance.

materials

By choosing the right liquid soap dispenser, you will not only protect yourself from unpleasant and harmful bacteria, but also transform the interior of your kitchen or bathroom. And in order for the selected dispenser to serve you faithfully for a long time, you should pay attention to the material from which its body is made, as well as to the pump mechanism.

The standard material from which dispensers are made is stainless steel, glass or plastic. Each of them has both pros and cons. Next, we consider the characteristics of these materials.

The main advantage of plastic is its cheapness. Despite this, you can find plastic dispensers of fairly high and decent quality. For the convenience of customers, designers have developed a huge variety of different designs, shapes and colors of plastic dispensers. It is best to choose a dispenser from this material if a portable type of device is required.

Glass dispensers are best suited for wall placement. So you protect yourself from tipping over the device. Such models on the wall, filled with fragrant and pleasant in color liquid soap, look very stylish, neat and expensive. The downside of this type of device is its high price.

A stainless steel product is a versatile, convenient, practical and beautiful device., which will easily fit into different styles of bathroom or kitchen design. It can be wall-mounted, placed on a shelf or on a sink. The dispenser made of steel is a reliable and safe device in operation.

When choosing a dispenser, be sure to pay attention to whether the chosen model fits the style of your bathroom or kitchen. To achieve the best effect, use not only the dispenser, also try to choose a set of accessories from the same series. For example, a dispenser and a glass for toothbrushes in the same style and color.

Above are the main materials from which dispensers are made, but today on the market you can also find dispensers made of materials such as ceramics, stone, wood, bronze, brass and others.

Dosing mechanisms

The dispenser is a container that is filled with liquid, and the mechanism by which the liquid is dosed and dispensed to the consumer. In another way, this mechanism can be called a pump. Dispensers are also distinguished by the type of dosing mechanism and the form of liquid dispensing. There are three forms of liquid supply:

Jet

When pressed, the liquid is given out by a jet. As a rule, this form is suitable mainly for dispensers with liquid soap. The soap has a thick consistency, so the outlet should be fairly large. Also, this type is suitable when using a gel-like antiseptic, because their consistency is similar.

Foam

The dosing mechanism is equipped with a special foamer. Thanks to him, foam immediately forms from the soap

Spray

This type of dosing mechanism is used in antiseptic dispensers. When pressed, the liquid is sprayed. The outlet of the mechanism is very small, thanks to which the spraying of the antiseptic on the hands occurs evenly.

The volume of the dose of liquid per operation varies depending on the form of the mechanism. There is no universally accepted norm, so each manufacturer sets its own.

Approximate averages are shown below.

  • liquid soap is dispensed with approximately 1 ml per press;
  • soap-foam - about 0.6 ml at a time;
  • skin antiseptic - 1.5 ml per 1 actuation.

Some manufacturers leave the user the right to change the amount of liquid dispensed per actuation. There are few such devices, but sometimes they are necessary and in demand.

The pump according to its device can be either built into the dispenser body or removable. When choosing a dispenser, remember that the removable mechanism has clear advantages. Firstly, the removable pump can be easily removed and washed if necessary. Secondly, in the event of a breakdown, it can also be easily removed and replaced with a new one. And in the case of a built-in mechanism, you will have to dismantle and change the dispenser completely.

Before making a choice of the necessary dispenser, decide on the type of liquid that you will use. Because if you use the dosing mechanism for other purposes, negative consequences may soon appear that will lead to equipment breakdown.

Design

From an aesthetic point of view, the use of dispensers looks very impressive and stylish. Thanks to their design, they can bring a bright accent to the interior and decorate any room. You can find a huge selection of stylish, unusual and colorful dispensers for every taste. For example, the square version is quite popular.

Many devices are equipped with a special window that allows you to control the level of liquid soap and replenish it in a timely manner. The existing touch panel allows you to wash your hands with soap and water without touching the accessory itself.

The original and practical design of the dispenser with a sponge for washing. It has a fixed stand for a washcloth or sponge. This version is very convenient to use, it can be installed directly in the shower or in the bath.

Among the most popular colors of these products:

  • brown;
  • red;
  • lilac;
  • green;
  • blue;
  • gold;
  • transparent;
  • orange.

Liquid soap is very popular these days. It is used in offices, in many institutions and even at home. This soap has a number of advantages, including hygiene and ease of use. However, liquid soap needs a special reservoir from which it must be dispensed. Such a tank is called a dispenser and is sold in almost any supermarket. However, we would not have coped with our task if we did not offer you a method for making a liquid soap dispenser at home.

First of all, as always, we invite you to familiarize yourself with the process of making a homemade dispenser in the author's video.

So what do we need:
- stationery knife;
- an empty bottle of detergent;
- clerical clip;
- scissors.

The author of the video uses a bottle of window cleaner. Let's start making a homemade dispenser.

First we need to remove the gun from the vial.

There is a tube on the gun through which the detergent is dispensed. It is this tube that we need to cut off next.

Next, we need to make a slot at the bottom of the vial to insert the mount there. In our case, we use an ordinary clerical clip as a fastener, more precisely, one of two metal springs, which we also remove.

We will fasten the clamp so that we can hang our dispenser, so the slot should not be very wide, otherwise the ears of the spring will not have anything to cling to.

After we have made a slot with a clerical knife, we insert our clip into it. As for the process of cutting the bottom, it is advised to do it with a hot knife, since the bottom of detergent bottles is usually thick.

So, let's figure out what you need to pay attention to when choosing a plastic dispenser. First, the plastic liquid soap dispenser must be made of a material with a high degree of shock and moisture resistance. Second, make sure the dispenser has a corrosion resistant valve that won't rust.

If we talk about the strength of the liquid soap dispenser, the ceramic dispenser clearly loses to its counterparts made of stainless steel or durable plastic. But on the other hand, it can very organically fit into the interior of your bathroom and decorate it.

Probably the most winning option is a stainless steel liquid soap dispenser. Such dispensers are the strongest and most durable.

We have already discussed all the pros and cons of the materials from which a liquid soap dispenser can be made. Let's now deal with the types and types of dispensers. What types of soap dispensers are there, how to determine exactly what you need?

1. PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT

Liquid soap dispensers are designed to dispense liquid hand soap in portions, are easy to use and maintain, have sufficient capacity (from 0.4 to 1.5 liters) and can be used to equip any sanitary and hygienic rooms.

Liquid soap dispensers are a container with a lid, a dispenser key, a viewing window, a pump and a locking device with a key.

The dispensers are easy to use and maintain, have sufficient capacity (from 0.4 to 1.5 liters), are equipped with a reliable pumping device that eliminates blockages and leaks.

For the convenience of monitoring the liquid level, the dispensers have a transparent front part of the body or a small viewing window.

Liquid soap dispensers are strong, durable, reliable and resistant to external influences, as they are made of special non-flammable impact-resistant ABS plastic (AITANA, AZUR, PLASTILUX series), polypropylene (POPULAR), transparent SF plastic (VISION) or stainless steel ( series ACEROLUX, INOX). Vandal-proof dispensers are made of stainless steel.

EXPENDABLE MATERIALS

The versatility of liquid soap dispensers lies in the fact that it is possible to use any type of liquid soap, which, on the one hand, allows you to save on consumables, and, on the other hand, to meet the requirements of the most demanding consumers.

It is possible to use any type of liquid hand soap, including those with an antibacterial effect.

Attention!

Random dilution of soap with water is not recommended. The use of liquid soap arbitrarily diluted with water is accompanied by an increase in the rate of liquid outflow and, accordingly, its increased consumption, as well as a decrease in the washing and disinfecting effect.

In the cold season, dispensers installed in unheated toilet rooms are recommended to be refilled with liquid soap of the STERIZOL type, which has a sufficient disinfecting effect and low viscosity.

If earlier a soap dish made in the form of a small bowl was used to store soap, today, with the advent of a liquid analogue of this very useful thing, there is a need for such a device as a dispenser. Simply put, this is a dispenser, whose task is to dispense a soapy substance in portions. Agree, it is convenient and economical, which is why you should buy a dispenser for liquid soap. There are many varieties of them, and before you make a purchase, you need to understand them in detail. What we will do in this article, in which, together with the site, we will study the varieties of dispensers that exist today and thereby answer the question, which soap dispenser to choose?

Soap dispenser: varieties and their features

The first thing to deal with, approaching the question of which bathroom dispenser to choose, is its varieties. Despite the simple and uniform purpose of this device, there are quite a lot of them, and they can be classified according to several criteria.

  1. The very first feature that you need to pay attention to when choosing a liquid soap dispenser is the way it is installed. In this regard, they can be divided into three subspecies - these are wall-mounted dispensers, desktop (or free-standing) and built-in. In principle, it is not so difficult to make a choice between them. The advantage of wall dispensers is that they do not take up space near the plumbing fixture - these are stationary fixtures that take root perfectly near where soap is used several times a day. Free-mount dispensers are more suitable for a bath where it is at least inconvenient to use a stationary fixture of this type - mobility is needed here, which is what free-mount (tabletop) liquid soap dispensers provide. As for built-in dispensers for liquid soap, they can also be quite different - some of them are installed in the wall, thereby not spoiling the overall picture of minimalism, others are built into or into the side, and still others can be universal. In the sense that the built-in soap dispenser can work both stationary and be removed if necessary from its seat, that is, it can be used anywhere in the bathroom.

    Soap dispenser wall photo

  2. Another important feature, according to which such a device as a soap dispenser dispenser can be classified into types, is the material from which it is made. There are no less options here than in the case of the previous classification - there are soap dispensers made of plastic, glass, steel. A plastic dispenser is a budget option. This product is inexpensive and does not always look clumsy - this is a great option for portable types of dispensers that are often dropped on the floor. Even if it breaks, then, as they say, a small loss. If you are looking for a wall-mounted soap dispenser, then it is naturally better to give preference to glass options or metal products of this type. Well, steel is steel - it can be said to be universal and perfect for installation anywhere. In principle, there is one golden rule for choosing such fixtures - they simply must be in harmony with the rest of the accessories in the bathroom. It is for this reason that it is better to give preference to sets.

    Soap dispenser touch photo

  3. The third sign is functionality, if, of course, I can say so. Probably, it would be more correct to put it - a way of management. In this regard, again, there are three varieties of liquid soap dispensers. This is a manual dispenser that will force you to press the button each time to get a portion of soap (a kind of charge). A touch-sensitive soap dispenser that dispenses a portion of soap with a light touch on a specific point, as well as automatic soap dispensers. The last version of the device reacts to the presence of human hands in the "feeder" area - this is perhaps the most convenient option for stationary use.

You can watch one of the varieties of liquid soap dispensers in this video.

In principle, this classification can be continued further, taking into account smaller features. For example, there are single and double dispensers - it is advisable to use them near the bath or in the shower. Liquid soap is loaded into one section, and shampoo into the other - as an option, soap can be replaced with a foam solution or something else that needs to be dosed. Among other things, there are even dispensers that do not have their own capacity for soap - these are the so-called dispensers that can be screwed onto any bottle of liquid soap bought in the store. Liquid soap dispensers: what to look for when choosing

In principle, in addition to the points described above, which determine the scope of the dispenser for liquid soap, you need to pay attention when choosing not so many different points.

Naturally, you should pay attention to the manufacturer of the dispenser, which fully guarantees its quality. Everything is simple here - eminent companies care about their reputation and do not allow themselves to produce defective goods. If you liked a thing of an unknown manufacturer, then you definitely need to carefully consider the product - quality products can be seen, as they say, with the naked eye. The presence of one visually noticeable defect suggests that there may be other hidden flaws. If such a thing is expensive, then it is better to refuse to buy it.

And in conclusion of the topic about the soap dispenser, I will say a few words about the stylistic design of the dispenser - at this point, our lovely ladies pay attention in the first place, although this is far from wrong. The design of a thing, of course, plays an important role, but this is not the main thing - it is important that the thing works and does it for as long as possible. Well, as for the design of the dispenser, today you can buy a dispenser for almost any type of bathroom - even if you cannot find the device you need in the free sale, you can always adjust the existing universal model to fit your interior, decoupage and the like - I think you all understand perfectly.
