Wallpaper pasting. Before starting the operation, the container with the adhesive composition is thoroughly mixed again. It is necessary to carefully protect it from the ingress of foreign objects, since the thick consistency is difficult to filter, unlike standard composition, which is significantly thinner. If such a need arises, then it is better to use a metal sieve with the smallest cells. The glue itself will not be filtered. It will need to be pushed through the sieve with any hands, after putting on rubber gloves or some kind of kitchen appliance like a big spoon. In the vast majority of cases, the adhesive used is designed only for wall processing. But sometimes on areas that are difficult to finish, it is permissible to apply the composition to paper-based vinyl wallpaper. Usually, an area is prepared for each workpiece separately, covering with glue an area slightly larger than necessary in width. But if there is a good assistant nearby and the work is arguing, then you can glue the plane for two or more segments. Smoothen paper-based vinyl wallpaper with a roller, a special plastic spatula or a simple rag, preferably white. Without strong pressure, air bubbles are removed, and while the canvas is moving, it is precisely oriented. The joints are smoothed with a small spatula or, even better, with an elastic roller;
Drying. Despite the fact that paper-based vinyl wallpapers are less sensitive to drafts than conventional counterparts, you should not use this. Windows and doors are strongly recommended to be closed at the end of work. Paper-based vinyl wallpaper dries for a long time. It is advisable to give them a day for a full fixation;
Final trimming of allowances and design of sockets and switches. Having withstood the necessary period until complete drying, the allowances are trimmed. It is easy to do this with a sharp paint knife, guiding it along the desired position and a spatula, ruler, rule, or handy thin rail tightly pressed to the surface. Cross-shaped cuts open access to sockets and switches. If necessary, glue borders and other finishing elements.
