Canopy rods can also not only be purchased ready-made, but also made independently from improvised materials or ordered in a workshop. Their free ends are usually decorated with decorative tops. They serve not only as a decoration, but also do not allow the fabric to slip.

This method becomes the only possible one when the canopy is required to be installed above the bed in the attic, with a low sloping ceiling, in order to close the beams above the headboard, which are not very comfortable to see when falling asleep. A full-fledged design in this case will be too cumbersome.
