A British horticulturist stumbled upon an apple tree festooned with small apples in an orchard in New Zealand. Since 2014, the Marks & Spencer chain of stores in the UK has started selling packs of 6 small apples. Such mini apples are planned to be grown in England.

The brand name "Tiddly Pomme" was chosen from 7,000 entries in a competition held on social media. Facebook networks. The phrase "Tiddly Pomme" is directly related to the poems from the cartoon "Winnie the Pooh".

Varieties of small varieties of apples in Russia

Due to the climatic features of most of our country, gardeners have bred several varieties of small frost-resistant apples. Among them are especially popular:

Apple tree "Chinese golden early"

The smallest apple in the world. Apple tree "Chinese golden early".

The variety was bred by breeding White Bulk and Kitayka. "Chinese golden early" reaches an average height of about 10 meters and produces yellow-orange fruits 5-7 cm, weight of each apple 40 gr. The taste is very delicate and honey. Harvested usually in August. Apples do not have a long shelf life (they can be stored for about one week), but the tree itself is very frost-resistant and usually bears fruit in the 3rd year after planting.

  • Apple tree "Chinese golden early" should be planted in medium loamy soil in a sunny place.
  • Yield per tree 100 kilograms.
  • The Chinese is very strongly poured during the ripening period. Many fruits do not have time to ripen.
  • From small apples of Kitaika, a very tasty, delicate apple jam is obtained. You can make jams and juices.

This apple tree received the name "Chinese" for the similarity of the leaf shape with the leaves of the Chinese plum.

Apple tree "Sibirka"

In the gardens of Siberia, you can often find the "Berry Apple Tree" (lat. Malus baccata), which is also called Sibirka. This amazing apple tree is able to winter even in -50 frost. It is both a tree and a shrub. Apples are so small fruits (up to 1 cm in diameter) that they really resemble berries, there are red, orange and yellow varieties of Sibirka.

In the spring you can admire for a very long time beautiful flowering- flowers can be white, pink and purple.

Siberian grows very slowly and usually grows up to 5-10 meters. The fruits do not crumble and even often remain on the branches after autumn leaf fall.

Apple tree "Sibirka"

Small Siberian apples contain vitamin C, organic acids, fiber and trace elements. Everything wild varieties apples contain much more organic acids, tannins and vitamin C than domestic varieties of apples. The fruits can be dried and brewed with tea or rose hips in winter. A decoction of dried Siberian is recommended to drink to increase immunity and normalize metabolic processes in the body.

Fruits are best harvested after autumn frosts, at which time they usually lose their bitter taste and become sweeter.

Apple trees "Ranetki"

Ranetki- small-fruited apple varieties bred by crossing European varieties with Sibirka. There are about 100 varieties of Ranetki.

Apple trees "Ranetki"

The average weight of a ripe Ranetki is about 15 grams. They are unpretentious, grow quickly without fear of frost, are common in different soil and climatic conditions, including in the northern regions of the Far East.

Ranetki can be stored for a long time. They make excellent marinades, jams, jams and juices. They are also very healthy and tasty when dried.

Those varieties of apple trees that were popular with our grandparents are gradually becoming a thing of the past. Now you rarely see Grushovka Moskovskaya, Korobovka, Aport, Borovinka, Kitaika Golden early in the gardens, and even Antonovka is gradually losing ground. Despite the pleasant taste and other advantages, these varieties are in many ways inferior to those that have been bred over the past few years.

Varieties with which it is time to say goodbye

New varieties of apple trees with improved characteristics of yield, winter hardiness and resistance to the most common diseases appear annually in the State Register. Some of the now popular varieties of apple trees are completely immune to scab, others are valued for their excellent keeping quality and shelf life, while others attract beautiful appearance and wonderful dessert taste.

It is not at all necessary to plant in your garden exclusively seedlings of those varieties that have proven themselves well twenty or thirty years ago. Try to replace them with new varieties that domestic gardeners have already fallen in love with. It is unlikely that such a choice will disappoint you!

Video about apple varieties

Why struggle with different ones from year to year, worry about how the trees will survive the winter, and unsuccessfully try to increase the yield, isn't it better to get rid of old varieties? Let's figure out which apple trees you can refuse without regret.

For example, in the old variety cinnamon striped apples, although tasty, are not very attractive in appearance, and the yields are not high enough. A variety of apple trees autumn striped grow too large, start fruiting late and have poor drought tolerance. Instead of these varieties, it is better to plant the Orlovskoe striped variety with appetizing tasty apples and good yields, or Cinnamon New - a variety that bears early, is productive and immune to scab.

Canadian Quinty does not differ in winter hardiness and resistance to scab

Quinty And Paping- summer varieties of apple trees, also not very suitable for growing. Canadian Quinty is not winter hardy and resistant to scab, Papirovka does not bear fruit every year, besides, apples are highly sour, becoming tasteless when overripe, and do not tolerate transportation. Gardeners preferred these varieties with delicious fruits. And the new varieties Early Aloe and Orlinka are not only high-yielding and fast-growing, but in addition surpass Melba in winter hardiness.

Of you can say goodbye to northern synapse, giving not very tasty fruits, with Pepin saffron, prone to frequent scab damage, as well as with a variety Memory of Michurin from which it is difficult to wait for a good harvest. Antonovka ordinary with all their positive qualities disappoints gardeners with irregular fruiting, short shelf life of apples and the appearance of "tanning" on fruits during storage. According to the taste of fruits, Antonovka has no analogues, but it can be replaced by yields and ripening terms among such varieties as Legend, Cinnamon New, Cowberry, Marat Busurin.

We present to your attention a brief description of the varieties of apple trees that have already earned the love of Russian gardeners:

  • The apple variety Medunitsa has become a real find for those who like sweet apples with a honey flavor. Their taste is most pronounced immediately after removal from the branch; fruits can be stored in the refrigerator until January. The fruiting of apple trees begins already in the fourth year, the harvests are plentiful, regular, but become periodic with age. The Medunitsa variety is immune to rot and scab.
  • The Legend apple variety has a sweet, candy taste. Quite large conical fruits of dark red color have an attractive marketable condition and the same size. At proper care the productivity of apple trees is very high, fruiting is annual. Winter hardiness and disease resistance are about the same as those of the best traditional varieties.
  • The summer variety Mantet is valued for early maturity, winter hardiness and good (albeit intermittent) yield. Apples begin to ripen from the end of July, it is recommended to consume them within a month. The pulp of the fruit is very juicy, fragrant, tender, sweetish with sourness. TO powdery mildew variety Mantet is unstable, but it is resistant to scab.
  • Until March, the fruits of the Orlik variety, a winter variety of apple trees that ripen by mid-September, can be stored (you can see the photo in the tab to the article). Yellow fruits, covered with a solid red blush, have a harmonious dessert sweet-sour taste and bright aroma. Winter hardiness of apple trees is sufficient, resistance to scab is average.

There are different types and varieties of apple trees that require a certain approach to the technology of their cultivation. We will consider the main types of crown formation, in which it is required to observe a certain distance when planting seedlings. You will also be offered the best varieties modern apple trees, which are accompanied short descriptions and photo.

Apple trees are the most popular of all fruit trees- Attractive in bloom and rewarding with a harvest. There are, of course, standard or classic apple trees, and this is discussed below, but they are not for the average site. It is much better to grow bushy trees if there is enough space. Where space is limited, a dwarf bushy, cordon row, or compact columnar is a much better choice. There are other types - trellis, fan, spindle-shaped, low horizontal cordons, etc.

With all of these growth patterns, your apple tree variety is very likely to need a pollination partner that blooms around the same time. The standard advice is to plant a pollinator variety in your garden, but in urban areas you will usually find one nearby. You can also grow a self-fertile variety, for example: "Queen Cox", "James Grieve" And "Arthur Turner", photos that can be found below.

The final stage is the collection of fruits. Apples are ready for harvest when they are easily removed with the stalk by lifting and turning slightly. Healthy fruits should be stored wrapped in newspaper and laid out in wooden trays in a cool, dry place.

Terms found in catalogs:

  • Varieties with periodic fruiting;
  • Varieties, with good harvest every two years;
  • Varieties with fruiting on fruit twigs;
  • Varieties that bear most of the fruit at the ends of annual shoots;
  • Varieties with fruiting on ringlets;
  • Varieties that bear all or most of the fruit on very short branches.

At what distance when planting to plant apple trees

At what distance to plant apple trees - largely depends on the variety and spreading of the crown of an adult tree. When planting apple trees, the distance is measured from the laying of the stem culture.

Lime the soil if it is very acidic, and provide a windbreak if the area is open. Plant the plant at the same depth at which it grew (according to the old soil mark); the vaccination site should be at a height of 10cm above the ground.

The distance between apple trees when planting semi-stem crops should be 5 m from each other. The interval for other types of growth is shorter: bushy- 4 m, dwarf bushy- 3m, dwarf bushy on rootstock M27- 2 m, cordons- 1 m, and 60 cm between compact columnar. Now you have information about what distance between apple trees should be when laying a garden.

Types of apple trees and their photos

Bushy types of apple trees - this is the most popular type, having open center and a short trunk: bushy 60-75 cm, dwarf bushy - 45-60 cm. They quickly bear fruit and are easy to care for. The size of an adult plant is 2 m on M27 and up to 5.5 m on MM106.

Look at the standard types of apple trees in the photo and evaluate their attractiveness for your site.

big trees, grown on semi-dwarf or vigorous rootstocks, they are suitable only where there is a lot of space and high yields are required. In the standard stem, the height of the stem is 1.8-2 m, in the half-stem, it is 1.2-1.4 m.

Cordon is a single stem tree planted at a 45° angle and tied to a permanent support system. A dwarf rootstock is usually used, and vigorous ones are generally avoided. Constant hard pruning required.

Compact columnar- it has one main trunk with almost no lateral branches, which means that no pruning is required. The height after 5 years is about 2 m, and the special form of growth makes it suitable for lawns, containers and.

Growing apple rootstock

Growing an apple rootstock in many respects depends on its technology on the type of crop growth. The main principles are described below. Bushy and standard apple trees need to be pruned while dormant - the method shown below is the easiest way to prune mature trees. Tapestry, fan forms and cordons are cut in mid-July (southern regions) or early August (other regions).

Remove dry, diseased and damaged branches. Cut out intersecting branches and shoots growing into the center of the crown.

Then, in the inner part of the crown, one shoot is left to continue the leader. Cut out each side shoot that grows inside the crown and above the shoot of the continuation of the leader branch.

In the outer part of the crown, both leaders and side shoots.

Harvest from a large number small fruits can be a problem. If this happens, thin out some of the fruiting twigs and cut out some of the side growths.

In a variety with fruiting on fruit twigs, remove dry, diseased and damaged branches.

Then cut out some of the leading shoots and leave all the side shoots with flower buds on their tops.

Apples are one of the healthiest and delicious fruits. On the Russian market now there is a very wide range of apples, and buyers are sometimes lost among this variety. In this article, I will talk about the basic rules for choosing apples and the most common varieties of these wonderful fruits.

How to choose apples: basic rules

First of all, carefully examine the apple: it should not have brown dots, as well as unclear brown spots(signs of decay), it should be quite firm to the touch (a flabby apple is still a treat). Unlike pears, soft apples that have begun to deteriorate are practically inedible and are not worth buying.

If the apple feels very hard to the touch, then its flesh is firm and crispy. Slightly softer to the touch apples have loose flesh. I don’t advise buying very soft apples - they are probably either flabby, or frozen, or rotting from the inside (you probably know these unpleasant surprises - you cut a seemingly normal-looking apple, and there ...)

The color of the apple must correspond to the variety declared on the price tag. Below I will detail various varieties apples and give their photos. By the way, keep in mind that red and yellow-red apples are more caloric, as they contain more carbohydrates (sugars) than green ones. Green apples tend to have a more sour taste; dark red apples tend to be slightly bitter.

Incidentally, to green apples should be treated very carefully. Often these are immature or very sour fruits. A faint scarlet blush on a green fruit in some cases indicates that the apple was picked unripe and, perhaps, it is very sour (exceptions: Simirenko, Granny Smith varieties).

If you want to choose really tasty apples, smell the fruit. Odorless apples usually do not have a very pronounced taste. Bad smell may indicate the beginning of decay, that the apple has begun to deteriorate.

Foreign manufacturers often cover apples with a thin wax film to keep them longer. Such fruits shine and are quite expensive, and sometimes they look like dummies. They must be washed before use. warm water and with soap to remove this wax film. It is worth remembering that imported apples are harvested unripe: they ripen on the way. Vitamins in them are usually noticeably less than in domestic fruits.

Apple varieties

The whole sea is diverse different varieties apples are presented in markets and supermarkets. Fruits of different varieties vary greatly not only in color, shape and size, but also in taste and aroma. The above information, I hope, will help you navigate freely in the apple sections of the fruit departments of shops, markets and supermarkets.

(sometimes this variety is mistakenly called Semerenko, Semerinka, etc.). Medium and large green apples are rounded. A very faint scarlet blush may be present. They are distinguished by the presence of many small white “subcutaneous” dots. If there are no dots, then this is not Simirenko, but another (probably the worst in terms of palatability) grade. The taste of Simirenko apples is rich sweet and sour, there is a slightly wine flavor and a slightly spicy aroma. The pulp is quite firm and juicy. Simirenko apples keep well.

Golden Delicious. Medium to large, slightly elongated apples yellow color. Also with small white dots on the peel. The taste is sweet, slightly fresh. The aroma is not pronounced. The pulp is quite loose, juicy. They keep well. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a good Golden Delicious lately. The shelves are full of golden, which has a pale greenish-yellow color and a mild taste. Perhaps this is just an immature Golden Delicious.

Red Delicious. Usually large and elongated apples of dark red color. Fairly soft flesh. The taste is sweet, slightly fresh. Nice light spicy aroma. There may be a slight bitterness characteristic of dark red apples. Price - from 80 rubles per kilogram.

. Medium-sized apples, elongated, green with a red (sometimes very dark) blush). The pulp is crispy and very hard, so apples are not for everybody. The taste is sweet and sour, more sour. Wine flavor. They keep well. Price - 70-80 rubles.

Royal Gala. Apples are small or medium in size, round in shape. The color is yellow with a strong red blush. Very beautiful. The flesh is quite firm. The taste is rich, sweet with a pleasant sourness. Fruity aroma. They keep well. Price - 80-90 rubles. The variety itself is New Zealand, but apples are also grown in other regions of the planet.

braburn. Large and slightly elongated apples. Color - light green or yellow with a pronounced red blush. The pulp is quite firm, juicy. A very unique rich taste. Herbal taste. The aroma is also herbal, summer, I would say. In general, the impression is good, the apples are original, I advise you to try. They keep well.

Idared. Large and very large apples, usually round in shape. The color is yellow with a red blush that can cover half or almost the entire fruit. The skin is thin. The pulp is quite loose, juicy. Intense sweet and sour taste. The aroma is weak. They keep well. Price - 50-60 rubles. Usually we sell Russian apples Idared.

Jonagold. Large apples, usually slightly elongated. The color is yellow (sometimes greenish) with a bright red blush that can cover most of the fruit. The pulp is rather loose. The taste is sweet, with a slight sourness, slightly fresh. Weak fruity aroma. They keep well, but not very long. Price - 50-60 rubles.

Jonagold, but with a more profuse red blush. Apples are large and very large, the flesh is loose. They don't keep very well.

fuji. Large rounded apples. Color - pale yellow with a scarlet blush. Supplied from China, although the variety itself was bred in Japan. The taste is not very rich, fresh, and at the same time sweet (Fuji is generally one of the sweetest apples - along with Royal Gala). The aroma is weak. The pulp is quite firm, crispy. They keep very well.

granny Smith. Large apples of green color and slightly elongated shape. Quite thick skin. The pulp is very hard, crispy. The taste is sour and very rich. Apples for everyone. They keep well. Price - from 90 rubles.

Pink Lady. Fairly expensive apples that come to us from Australia and France. Usually small size, round shape. The color is yellow with a very pleasant pink blush. Each apple must have a branded pink sticker. The pulp is juicy. The taste is sweet with a slight sourness. Nice light strawberry flavor. The price is over 100 rubles.

Aryan (Arianna). Another expensive apples, French exclusive. The fruits are medium in size, round in shape, beautiful bright red color. The skin is shiny and quite thick. The pulp is quite firm and juicy. The taste is sweet and sour, quite rich. They keep very well. The price usually exceeds 100 rubles.

Honey (Honey Crunch, Honey Crisp). Round apples of medium size. The color is yellow with red. The skin is thin. The pulp is firm, juicy, crunchy. Very pleasant sweet and sour taste. Pleasant aroma. The price exceeds 100 rubles.

Other varieties. Often on sale you can find the so-called Domestic apples And Apples Russia(50-70 rubles). They are usually good. The pulp is friable, the taste is sweet and sour, usually saturated. I advise you to choose fruits that are yellow or yellowish with a rich scarlet blush. In the markets you can also find apple varieties Antonovka- yellow color, with good taste.

It is also worth noting the variety Aport, but these apples are found on sale, unfortunately, rarely. Variety Aport is distinguished by good keeping quality, juicy pulp of pleasant taste; apples are large, yellow-green with a scarlet blush, which often occupies most of the surface of the fruit.

Good too Ukrainian and Moldovan apples (sellers usually indicate only the country on the price tags, and, unfortunately, they do not write the variety). And here Polish apples- disgusting tasteless fruits, they are inexpensive, they are stored rather poorly.

In conclusion, I bring to your attention a small plate that summarizes the above information on apple varieties.

Good luck in choosing apples and bon appetit!

Winter is the best time to calmly plan the planting of the next summer season. And if next spring you are going to start one or more on your site and while you are at a loss, choosing suitable variety, this article is for you.

Lovers of refreshing sour apples will not find anything interesting here. But those who like melt in your mouth honey fruits, for sure they will be able to make a choice. In my review, I included 9 of the sweetest varieties - both the good old "grandmother's" apples come from childhood, and new modern ones.

"Lungwort"

It is certainly worth noting the popular summer variety 'Lungwort', which brought the famous Soviet breeder Sergei Ivanovich Isaev. The tree is harvested in the second half of summer. Apples have an incredibly sweet taste.

Variety "Medunitsa". Photo from sadpolyanka.ru

The tree grows large, with a pyramidal sparse crown. The apple tree will give its first honey harvest already in the 4th year of life. The fruits are medium-sized, weighing 110-140 g, with yellow skin and a beautiful scarlet speckled blush, especially bright in the sun. Rounded apples ‘Lungwort’ are characterized by fine-grained juicy cream-colored flesh and delicious aroma.

This is an excellent hardy variety that survives frosty winters well. High yield and resistance to scab are two other important characteristics that speak in favor of this variety.

"Candy"

Among the huge varietal assortment, another summer variety of Isaev's selection leads in the sweetness of its fruits - ‘Candy’. You will get the first fruits from a 4-5-year-old tree.

Variety "Candy". Photo from allgardening.ru

Its crown is spreading, powerful. ‘Candy’ grows up to 4-5 m in height. Rounded fruits weigh on average 100-130 g, have a delicate peel of a rich yellow color with a beautiful orange-red blush. In terms of sweetness, this variety can compete with ‘Medunitsa’: apples have dense juicy flesh with a honey flavor and caramel aroma. But they are stored only 2-3 weeks.

The yield of ‘Candy’ is not very high, but you will not suffer from periodicity in fruiting: you will have apples every year. In rainy seasons, the tree can be affected by scab, however, this disadvantage is more than compensated by good winter hardiness and delicious sweet taste.

"Golden Delicious"

Complements the line of sweet varieties American ‘Golden Delicious’. This is a variety for real sweet tooth. Beautiful yellow fruits are harvested in late September - early October.

Grade "Golden Delicious". Photo from the site semenauspeha.ru

Tree of medium vigor with a wide-round dense crown. It will delight you with the first harvest already in the 2-3rd year of life. Apples with a recognizable golden, slightly rough skin with a slightly pronounced pinkish blush of a rounded conical shape. The flesh is light yellow. Subject to all storage conditions, apples can lie right up to April.

The variety tolerates frost well, has an enviable yield and excellent fruit quality. But he also has disadvantages. These include weak drought resistance, irregular fruiting. At home, in the USA, the ‘Golden Delicious’ variety is considered the official symbol of the state of Virginia.

"Belarusian sweet"

Undoubtedly, in our ten sweetest hits winter variety ‘Belarusian sweet’. The tree grows to medium size with a rounded conical crown. Young apple trees bear fruit already for 2-3 years of their life.

Sort "Belarusian sweet". Photo from nizovo-sad.ru

Rounded apples weighing 150-200 g, when ripe, are first yellow, and then poured with a solid red blush. The flesh is beautiful, white. The grade is good, thanks to high frost resistance and productivity. The tree is genetically resistant to scab. Bears fruit annually. The harvest taken from the tree in time is perfectly preserved until February.

"Orlovim"

I would like to mention the apple tree ‘Orlovim’- another Soviet variety. One of his parents was ‘Antonovka ordinary’. The apple tree gives very sweet fragrant apples. Tree of medium height with a beautiful rounded crown. Fruits in the 3rd year of life.

Variety "Orlovim" 2 weeks before ripening. A photo

Having planted this variety a few years ago on my suburban area I can't stop admiring his merits. ‘Orlovim’ is not affected by diseases, bears fruit annually and abundantly. It does not cause problems when pruning - its branches depart from the conductor at almost a right angle, therefore beautiful crown formed naturally.

The apples are slightly flattened, weighing 150-170 g. The skin is pale yellow with a plentiful blurred watercolor blush of pink-red tones. Under the spectacular shell hides no less impressive content: the pulp is creamy, juicy, with an incomparable taste and a pleasant caramel aroma.

The variety should be planted for food, as the fruits are not suitable for long-term storage. Like other summer varieties, Orlovim apples will last no more than a month.

"Christmas"

The variety under the beautiful name does not lag behind ‘Orlovim’ in terms of the sweetness of the fruit ‘Christmas’ early winter ripening. On this medium-sized tree with a wide pyramidal crown, even in the most unfavorable seasons, I also never noticed signs of scab - the apple tree is resistant to this disease at the genetic level.

Variety "Christmas". A photo

The average weight of an apple is 140-180 g, but more significant specimens often ripen on my tree (weighing 230-250 g). Apples are distinguished by a greenish-yellow color of the peel and, at the stage of ripeness, are covered with a bright red, almost continuous blush. The pulp is dense, juicy, snow-white - it looks great in contrast with the red skin.

The tree will delight with the first apples already at the age of 3 years and will bring the harvest annually. And the variety is named so not by chance: these delicious sweet apples can lie in a vegetable store until the middle of winter.

"Pepin Saffron"

It is certainly worth noting the old winter variety ‘Pepin saffron’, bred by Ivan Vladimirovich Michurin. It still does not lose its relevance and is often found in amateur gardens.

Variety "Pepin Saffron". Photo from romashkino.ru

The first harvest will have to wait quite a long time, since only 4-5-year-old trees come into fruition. But the long-awaited apples will not disappoint you: they are medium-sized (80-140 g), but fragrant, juicy and with a dessert taste. It's impossible to break away! Their skin is yellowish-green, covered with a dark red blush, the flesh is creamy.

Collected "Pepin saffron" in the first half of October, apples ripen already in storage. It is there that they get their famous spicy aroma and become honey. Under proper conditions, the harvest is perfectly preserved until April.

The variety stands out for its high yield, excellent quality and good keeping quality of fruits. It does not suffer from periodicity in fruiting, however, in severe winters it freezes strongly, and in rainy summers it is quickly affected by scab.

"Riga dove"

The Latvian variety stands out with especially sweet and tasty fruits of early autumn ripening. ‘Riga Dove’. Beautiful greenish-white apples with the thinnest skin reach a mass of 110-130 g. A delicate pinkish blush may appear on the barrels. Ripe fruits are translucent, as if filled with juice. The taste of apples is pleasant, sweet and sour. They are distinguished by good keeping quality: subject to all storage conditions, they will last until December.

Variety "Riga dove". Photo from moysadovnik.ru

The tree itself is medium-sized, with a spreading crown. The variety is prone to periodicity in fruiting, and the first harvest will have to wait (the first apples are obtained in the 4th year). But its winter hardiness is good, so it is also grown in Russia. Scab and fruit rot is not affected.

"Delight"

The variety name speaks for itself. ‘Delight’. The tree of this variety is characterized by medium growth vigor, has a wide oval dense crown, begins to bear fruit in the 4th-5th year.

Variety "Delight". Photo from mctula.ru

Apples of early autumn ripening, weighing 120-160 g. They are almost perfectly round in shape, and you just want them in a vase, but on the table. The skin of the fruit is greenish-yellow, but it is hidden under the abundant watercolor-pink blush that ripe apples cover. The pulp may have pinkish blotches. Juicy, sweet, they smell like raspberries - these are the special apples of the ‘Delight’ variety.

They will lie without problems until December. The variety is high-yielding, winter-hardy, resistant to all typical diseases apple trees. The disadvantages include the strong thickening of the crown, so the tree needs to be looked after and pruned regularly, otherwise the yield will melt before our eyes.

Sweet apples of the varieties described above undoubtedly deserve the highest praise for their taste characteristics and always become the main dessert on any table.
