Analysis of the implementation of the All-Russian verification work

in geography in the 11th grade of MBOU "Makushinskaya secondary school No. 1"

teacher S.A. Kuriy

I. Characteristics of the structure and content of control and measuring materials

1. Appointment of the All-Russian verification work

The All-Russian Testing Work (VPR) is intended for the final assessment of the educational preparation of graduates who have studied the school geography course at the basic level. The work was carried out on April 03, 2018.

2. Documents defining the content of the VPR

The content of the All-Russian verification work in geography is determined on the basis of the Federal component of the State educational standard medium (full) general education in geography, basic level (Order of the Ministry of Education of Russia dated 05.03.2004 No. 1089 “On Approval of the Federal Component state standards primary general, basic general and secondary (complete) general education”).

3. Approaches to the selection of content and the development of the structure of the VPR

The content and structure of the VPR in geography provide an objective assessment of the quality of training of persons who have mastered the educational programs of secondary (complete) general education. The content of the VPR in geography is determined by the requirements for the level of training of graduates, fixed in the Federal component of state standards for basic general and secondary (complete) general education in geography. The selection of the content to be checked in the verification work was carried out in accordance with the section "Mandatory minimum content of the main educational programs» Federal component of state standards for basic general and secondary (complete) general education in geography. The questions of the course of school geography studied in grades 8–11 are taken as the basis:

    Sources of geographic information

    world economy

    Nature management and geoecology

    Regions and countries of the world

    Geography of Russia

The work tests both the knowledge of geographical phenomena and processes in the geospheres and the geographical features of the nature of the population and the economy of individual territories, as well as the ability to analyze geographical information presented in various forms, the ability to apply the geographical knowledge acquired at school to explain various events and phenomena in Everyday life. In the test work, tasks of different types are used, the forms of which ensure their adequacy to the skills being tested.

4. Structure and content of the All-Russian verification work

Each version of the test work includes 17 tasks that differ in forms and levels of complexity. In the test work, tasks are presented with different types answers: 1) tasks that require writing down the answer in the form of a word; 2) assignments for establishing compliance geographical objects and their characteristics; 3) tasks requiring to enter answers from the proposed list in the text at the place of gaps; 4) tasks with the choice of several correct answers from the proposed list; 5) tasks to establish the correct sequence of elements.

In 7 tasks, a detailed free answer is expected. VPR provides for checking the level of training of graduates in accordance with the requirements for it. Since the achievement of a number of requirements in various options test work can be checked on the content of various sections of the school geography course, the distribution of tasks for the main blocks of content may differ slightly from the approximate distribution shown in table 1.

The level of quality of the tasks is not the same. This, first of all, depends on the complexity of the tasks (basic and advanced level) and its geographic content. According to the content of the task can be divided into 3 groups:

a) assignments (No. 1-7) on the content of the course of geography of Russia (8-9 cells)

b) tasks (No. 8-13) on the content of the course of economic and social geography of the world (10-11 cells)

c) tasks (Nos. 14-17) on the content of courses in Russian geography and economic and social geography of the world, the implementation of which takes place using the given text.

Performance different types tasks by groups of participants are shown in Table 10. For all groups of participants, the tasks of the basic level were performed better than the advanced ones. Moreover, the less prepared the students, the greater the difference in the level of performance of tasks.

For all groups of participants, with the exception of the group of the most prepared, the highest percentage of completing tasks that differ in content is typical for tasks in the geography of Russia, the minimum - for tasks that are performed using the given text. The most prepared students on these tasks received the best result.

An analysis of the results of the 2018 VPR test allows us to make the following recommendations for geography teachers.

1. Analyze the results of the VPR in geography in the 11th grade 2017/118 and determine the reasons for the gaps in different groups students by skill level.

2. Continue to organize practical work with maps, texts, statistical materials, additional sources information; on the use of ICT tools for the training of schoolchildren.

3. Include tasks in geography lessons that students completed at a low level:

The ability to select information from geographical texts to formulate and justify one's point of view;

Definition of climate type and climate indicators;

Ability to work with a climate map.

Regions of Russia.

4. Include tasks in which the majority of students made mistakes in diagnostic work for 10th graders at the end of the school year and 11th graders at the beginning of the school year.

5. Use in the work of the task of the open segment of the Federal Bank test items posted on the FIPI website, presented in publications recommended by FIPI.

6. In the process of teaching geography, it is necessary to purposefully form and develop the following skills in students:

Establish causal relationships between phenomena and explain them;

Systematize knowledge, evaluate and predict geographic processes, solve problems;

Argument and competently formulate their own judgments on the most pressing problems of the socio-economic development of Russia and the countries of the world, geopolitical and geo-ecological problems;

Work with geographical texts, thematic maps, statistical materials, analyze diagrams, tables with statistical data, and make calculations on them so that students can acquire the skills of such work.

VPR is an abbreviation that is so alarming for today's schoolchildren. In the same timeAT se-Russian P testing station RWork is a great opportunity to evaluate the preparation of students. The project was launched relatively recently, for example, the VPR in geography was held in 2017 for the first time and is of an experimental and trial nature. Should I be afraid of such a test and how to successfully pass it?

There are not so many materials and various demo versions of the VPR for the preparation of students in grades 10 and 11, and therefore many questions arise. How many tasks are in each option? What sections of the geography course does the work cover? How to build smart learning activities to get the best result?

Lack of necessary information and novelty this project do not allow you to feel confident successful completion tests. We offer you a solution that will help you not only to get acquainted with the requirements within the framework of the VLOOKUP in geography, but also to master the materials necessary for the successful completion of the work.

About the simulator

The resource includes interactive tasks in a test form for practicing exercises of all sections:

  1. Sources of geographic information.
  2. World population.
  3. World economy.
  4. Nature management and geoecology.
  5. Regions and countries of the world.
  6. Geography of Russia.

The check is carried out automatically. The student gets the opportunity to try his hand online, parents see the level of preparation of the child, the teacher saves time on viewing the work.

In addition, we offer materials that fully comply with the structure, form and sequence of tasks of the VPR. For the student, this is an opportunity to objectively assess the level of their knowledge and psychologically prepare for the test. For better consolidation of work skills, the materials are presented in three options, the solution of which will give confidence and help show how the student is ready for the VPR and the Unified State Examination.

Trainer for a student

For the student, we have prepared 3 free online simulators. Checking the performance of test tasks is carried out automatically. We invite you to try your hand!

In addition, additionally developed 3 options for verification work which you can print and conduct a trial VPR in the 10th or 11th grade: study the format, sequence, time allotted for their implementation; objectively assess your level of knowledge and feel confident at the certification.

Methodical comments are equipped with all the necessary information for the successful completion of tasks - what you need to know and be able to do, what additional materials are allowed to be used.
