How to dismantle the old structure

Before installing a new plastic corrugated toilet pipe, the previously installed structure should be dismantled. This process consists of the following steps:

• prepare a rag and a container to eliminate possible leaks;
• turn off the tap that regulates the water supply to the system;
• unscrew the water supply hose;
• empty the drain tank from the liquid;
• remove the drain tank;
• dismantle old equipment.

If a old design stretched as much as possible, it is easy to remove it from the opening of the toilet bowl and the sewer pipe. The rest of the water is enough to drain into the sewer.

If the toilet is located in a corner, do not forget about the arc rule. Start removing it from the toilet and then from the sewer. The process will be easy and will not take much time.

Installation of a corrugated pipe

Installation of a corrugated plastic pipe is simple and accessible to everyone. One end of the corrugated pipe is inserted into the toilet socket, the other - into the sewer pipe with a five-centimeter tension on the outlet.

Immediately you need to warn if the toilet was operated long time, then there is a high probability that it has a reliable "grounding", that is, it is cemented. If so, it will be difficult to remove it without damaging it, and when the toilet neck is also packed with rags and paint, it is almost impossible.

In such a situation, it will be necessary to apply a strong blow with a hammer or sledgehammer of the target to the neck of the toilet in order to split it. The vibration created by the impact acts on the cemented base of the structure, which will help in the work.

Important! Do not hit the sewer pipe, especially if it is made of cast iron. This brittle material can shatter or crack. After the neck is destroyed, we proceed to detach the structure from the floor, for this we try to swing it.
