STATE STANDARD OF THE UNION OF THE SSR
UNIFIED SYSTEM OF TECHNOLOGICAL DOCUMENTATION
FORMS AND RULES OF DESIGN
ROUTE CHARTS
GOST 3.1118-82
STANDARDS PUBLISHING HOUSE
Moscow
STATE STANDARD UNION SSR
Decree State Committee USSR according to the standards of December 30, 1982 No. 5311, the introduction period is set
from 1984-01-01
This standard establishes the forms and rules for the design of route charts used in the development of technological processes for the manufacture or repair of products in the main and auxiliary industries.
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1. The route chart (MC) is an integral and integral part of the set of technological documents (hereinafter referred to as documents) developed for technological processes for the manufacture or repair of products and their components.
1.2. The MK forms established by this standard are unified and should be used regardless of the type and nature of production and the level of detail in the description of technological processes.
2. APPLICATION RULES
2.1. The choice and establishment of the scope of the relevant forms of MC depend on the types of technological processes being developed, specialized in the methods used for the manufacture and repair of products and their components, the purpose of the form as part of a set of documents and the methods used to design documents. The choice and establishment of the scope of the MC forms is carried out by the developer of documents in accordance with the procedure established in the industry or at the enterprise (in the organization) according to Table. one.
2.2. In the route and route-operational description of the technological process, the MC is one of the main documents that describes the entire process in the technological sequence of operations.
2.3. In the operational description of the technological process, the MC acts as a summary document, which indicates the address information (the number of the workshop, section, workplace, operation), the name of the operation, the list of documents used in the performance of the operation, technological equipment and labor costs.

3. DESIGN RULES
3.1. Registration of forms, forms and documents - in accordance with GOST 3.1104-81.
3.2. For the presentation of technological processes in MK, a filling method is used, in which information is entered line by line with several types of lines. Each line type has its own service character.
3.3. Service symbols conditionally express the composition of the information placed in the columns of this type lines of the form of the document, and are intended for processing the contained information by means of mechanization and automation.
The use of service characters is mandatory and does not depend on the applied document design method.
Note. It is allowed not to put down a service character on subsequent lines that carry the same information when describing the same operation on a given sheet of a document, for documents filled out by hand or using a typewriter and not subject to processing by means of mechanization and automation.
3.4. As a designation of service characters, the letters of the Russian alphabet are accepted, put down before the number of the corresponding line, and performed by a capital letter, for example, M01, A12, etc.
3.5. The indication of the corresponding service characters for the types of lines, depending on the content of the information to be placed, in the columns of the MK should be performed in accordance with Table. 2.
3.6. The service symbols used on the lines, which indicate the names and designations of the columns, are recommended to be performed in a typographical way.

3.7. On the lines below the columns, which indicate their names and designations, the service characters are affixed by the developer of documents, taking into account the method of filling out the documents he has chosen.
3.8. When filling in information on lines with service symbols A, B, C, D, D, E, K, L, M, N, one should be guided by the rules for filling in the corresponding columns located on these lines.
3.9. When filling in information on lines that have the service symbol O, one should be guided by the requirements state standards ESTD of the seventh classification group, which establishes the rules for recording operations and transitions. Recording information should be performed in a technological sequence along the entire length of the line with the possibility, if necessary, of transferring information to subsequent lines. In the operational description of the technological process on the MC, the transition number should be put at the beginning of the line.
3.10. When filling in information on lines with the service symbol T, one should be guided by the requirements of the relevant classifiers, state and industry standards for coding (designation) and the name of technological equipment. Information on the technological equipment used in the operation is recorded in the following sequence:
fixtures;
auxiliary tool;
cutting tool;
fitting and assembly tool;
a special tool used in the performance of specific technological processes (operations), for example, in welding, stamping, etc.;
measuring.
Recording should be performed along the entire length of the line with the possibility, if necessary, of transferring information to subsequent lines. Separation of information for each tool of industrial equipment should be carried out through the sign ";". The number of units of technological equipment used at the same time should be indicated after the code (designation) of the equipment, enclosed in brackets, for example, ABVG ХХХХХХ.ХХХ (2) disk cutter.

2.1. The choice and establishment of the scope of the relevant forms of MC depend on the types of technological processes being developed, specialized in the methods used for the manufacture and repair of products and their components, the purpose of the form as part of a set of documents and the methods used to design documents. The choice and establishment of the scope of the MK forms is carried out by the developer of documents in accordance with the procedure established in the industry or at the enterprise (in the organization) according to Table 1.
2.2. In the route and route-operational description of the technological process, the MC is one of the main documents that describes the entire process in the technological sequence of operations.
2.3. In the operational description of the technological process, the MC plays the role of a summary document, which indicates the address information (the number of the shop, section, workplace, operation), the name of the operation, the list of documents used in the performance of the operation, technological equipment and labor costs.
3.2. For the presentation of technological processes in MK, a filling method is used, in which information is entered line by line with several types of lines. Each line type has its own service character.
3.3. Service symbols conditionally express the composition of information placed in the columns of this type of line of the document form, and are intended for processing the contained information by means of mechanization and automation.
Note. It is allowed not to put down a service character on subsequent lines that carry the same information when describing the same operation on a given sheet of a document, for documents filled out by hand or using a typewriter and not subject to processing by means of mechanization and automation.
3.4. As a designation of service characters, the letters of the Russian alphabet are accepted, put down before the number of the corresponding line and performed in capital letters, for example, M01, A12, etc.
3.5. The indication of the corresponding service characters for the types of lines, depending on the content of the information to be placed, in the columns of the MK should be performed in accordance with Table 2.
