1. This standard applies to sheet hot-rolled steel 500 mm wide
and more, manufactured in sheets with a thickness of 0.40 to 160 mm and rolls with a thickness of 1.2 to 12 mm.

The standard fully complies with ST SEV 1969-79 in terms of structural non-alloyed rolled products of ordinary quality and low-alloyed steel with a thickness of 1.00 to 2.80 mm in sheets
and coils and ST SEV 3901-82 in terms of rolled products with a thickness of 3.00 to 160 mm in sheets.

2. The dimensions of rolled products manufactured in sheets must correspond to those indicated in table. 1, in
rolls - in the table. 2.

3. Sheet metal is subdivided:

a) in terms of rolling accuracy with a thickness of up to 12 mm:

increased accuracy - A;
normal accuracy - B;

b) flatness:

especially high flatness - PO;
high flatness - PV;
improved flatness - PU;
normal flatness - PN;

c) by the nature of the edge:

with unedged edge - BUT,
with cut edge - O;

d) by size:

with indication of the dimensions in terms of thickness, width and length in accordance with the dimensions specified in the appendix - form I;
with the indication of the sizes on thickness within the limits specified in tab. 1, without specifying dimensions for width and length - form II;
indicating the dimensions, multiples of the width and length, the dimensions specified in the order, within the limits specified in Table. 1, - form III;
indicating the measured dimensions, within the limits indicated in the table. 1, at intervals of 10 mm in width and 50 mm in length - form IV. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, the intervals in width and length may be less than those indicated.
The manufacture of rolled sheets of measured dimensions that differ from the dimensions specified in the appendix is carried out at the request of the consumer.

4. Limit deviations in the thickness of rolled products manufactured in sheets and coils, in any
measurement point should not exceed the norms specified in table. 3 and 4.

6. Limit deviations in the width of rolled products with a cut edge, manufactured in rolls,
must not exceed:

5 mm - with a width of 500 to 1000 mm inclusive;

10 mm - with a width of St. 1000 mm.

7. Limit deviations in the width of rolled products with a cut edge, manufactured in sheets,
should not exceed the norms specified in table. 5.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, the maximum deviations in the width of rolled products with
cut edge, manufactured in sheets, should not exceed:

10 mm - with a steel width of St. 1000 mm.

8. Limit deviations in the width of rolled sheets, rolled by sheets and manufactured with an unedged edge, should not exceed the limit deviations by more than 50 mm
according to the width indicated in the table. 5.

By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, other limit deviations are allowed,
providing the consumer with sheets with the dimensions specified in the order.

9. Limit deviations in the width of rolled products rolled on continuous mills and
manufactured with an unedged edge, should not exceed:

20 mm - with a width of up to 1000 mm;

30 mm - with a width of more than 1000 mm.

10. Limit deviations along the length of rolled products, rolled by sheets, should not exceed
the norms specified in the table. 6.

17. The telescopicity of rolled products manufactured in rolls should not exceed the norms indicated in Table. nine.

18. Measurement of the thickness of rolled products is carried out:

a) on sheets - at a distance of at least 100 mm from the ends and at least 40 mm from the edges;

b) on rolls - at a distance of at least 40 mm from the edges and at least 2 m from the end of the roll.

19. The width of rolled products manufactured in rolls is measured at a distance of at least 2 m from
end of the roll.

Partial width ends should not exceed the width of the roll in length.

At the request of the consumer, the ends of partial width must be cut off.

20. Methods for measuring shape deviations - according to GOST 26877.

21. Rental in rolls may consist of no more than two pieces (separate or connected
weld seam).

The ratio of the lengths of pieces in one roll should not be less than 1:5. By agreement
consumer with the manufacturer allowed rolls with large quantity pieces or welds.

22. Inner diameter roll must be at least 650 mm and not more than 1000 mm.

23. Max weight each roll should not exceed 20 tons. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, rolls of a different weight are allowed.

Rolling accuracy:

By the nature of the edge:

BUT- with unedged edge;
O- with cut edge.

Sheet steel (thickness 0.5-3.9mm)

By type of product is divided into:

sheets (with cut edge);
rolls (with unedged and cut edges);

According to the standardized characteristics 5 categories. According to the minimum value of temporary resistance (B) for strength groups: OK300V etc. , where OK - ordinary quality; 300 - corresponds to the lower limit of temporary resistance).

By the quality of the surface finish into groups:

III- high finishes;
IY- regular finishes.

Sheet hot-smoked low-alloyed. Low-alloy steel sheet rolled products are manufactured in accordance with GOST 19281-89 4-60 mm thick. Depending on the type of metal products and thickness, hot-rolled low-alloy sheets are made from steel grades: I09G2, 09G2S, 09G2S-12, 17G1S, 17G1SU, 10KhSND. The chemical composition must match GOST 19281-89. Rolled sheet and low-alloy steel are manufactured in the following strength classes: 265, 295, 315, 325, 345, 355, 375, 390, and 440. The surface, requirements for edges and ends of this sheet must comply GOST 14637-89. This type of product is used for welded, riveted or bolted structures in products, mainly without additional heat treatment.

Manufactured according to GOST 1577-93 4-160 mm thick.
