DIY jewelry stand. How to make a phone stand? A handy gadget made from improvised materials From the Lego constructor

When there are cute cozy little things in the house, it helps to create an atmosphere of warmth. Making something interesting and useful at the same time is not so difficult. Today, almost everyone has a mobile phone. When we return home, we most often put it on the table. It happens that we do not notice and throw paper or other things on top, and sometimes we completely lose it on the desktop. A do-it-yourself phone stand solves two problems at once: you can always make room for your phone and design it yourself.

How to make a phone stand?

Surely you have at least one cardboard box at home. From such junk material you can create something unique. We suggest making a phone stand out of paper and an old box.

  1. For work, you need to prepare stationery glue, a pencil with a ruler, a knife.
  2. Before you make a phone stand, you need to prepare the cardboard. We cut rectangles measuring 10x20cm. We need 9 of these blanks.
  3. Now you need to glue them three by one.
  4. On two we draw such a detail. This will be the sidewall of the do-it-yourself phone stand.
  5. Cut out. In order for everything to be beautiful and the structure not to lose its stability, you need to lay the sidewalls one on top of the other and check how much they are the same.
  6. We take a clerical knife and cut a hole in the form of a rectangle.
  7. Next, you need to make the base for the stand for the phone with your own hands. We measure the width of the phone and cut out the stand from the third blank according to the size. The phone's width is the length of our rectangle. The width of the rectangle should be such that it can fit into the grooves on the sidewalls.
  8. We assemble the structure. You will also need a small circle of cardboard, its diameter is slightly smaller than the distance between the sidewalls. (photo 8)
  9. All blanks must be pasted over with paper. It can be newspaper clipping or scrapbooking paper.
  10. To make the back, take two pencils or something similar. We make holes in the sidewalls and insert them there. On the axis we put our circle of cardboard.
  11. Do-it-yourself mobile stand is ready!

Another do-it-yourself phone stand option

You can make a simpler version of such a cardboard stand.

You can make a small phone stand with your own hands from the simplest materials. Our small master class will help you in your work. Handmade items bring warmth and comfort to your home.

Such a funny cat phone stand is easy to make in one evening. To do this, we need fabric from old jeans to finish the cup, denim or any other fabric for the head, paws and tail.

For work you will need:

  1. Denim fabric (stripes of different colors).
  2. A piece of bright fabric for a scarf.
  3. A little synthetic winterizer or cotton wool for paws, tail and head.
  4. A glass of cotton swabs.
  5. Bottom cardboard.
  6. 4 buttons.
  7. Pencil, scissors, needle.

Let's get to work:

Take a sheet of paper and freehand draw a pattern. It's pretty simple, even if you can't draw. The head can be done like this: circle the bottom of your cup from under the cotton buds and step back a little from the edge. Get the head of a cat. Cut out the paper pattern. On it we will cut:

  • Head (with ears) - 2 parts,
  • paw-hand - 4 parts,
  • paw-leg - 4 parts,
  • tail - 2 parts.

We select materials:

Here is a box you need to take for work, it just fits perfectly in size:

Next, we will make bottoms for our stand. This chopstick cup has a bottom diameter of 8 cm. Yours may be different. For the outer bottom, we cut out a larger circle of cardboard, and for the inner bottom, 0.5 cm less than the bottom of the glass from under the sticks. Cut out a circle with a diameter of 7.5 cm from denim. Sweep along the edge with a thread, insert cardboard and tighten the thread. The second circle is 1.5 cm larger, cut out of denim.

For the inside of the stand, we take a suitable fabric measuring 12 cm (glass height + allowances on each side of 2 cm) * 27 cm (circumference + allowances of 1 cm). We sew the fabric along the short side. We cut the allowances in the lower part of the resulting lining in several places. We put the inner lining into the cup, distribute the notched allowances so that there are no large folds. You can drop a little glue so that the lining does not “walk”.

We turn the top allowance on the outside of the stand. We also fix it by dripping glue in a circle. If there is no glue available, use tape. Then we must draw the belly of the cat. For the top and bottom, trimmings from the legs are well suited. Lay out the strips and fasten them with pins.

Sew all the pieces along the short side. We put on our stand everything that we sewed. On top of the cup we sew the lining and the top of the product with a hidden seam. Then we sew a large bottom. Make sure it doesn't protrude beyond the diameter of the glass. If the bottom is large, cut off the excess cardboard.

We put the cat pattern on the fabric from which you decided to sew it. Cut out a pattern from paper and fasten with pins to the fabric. Cut out, adding a 0.5 cm seam allowance.

Embroider the cat's face the way you like. You can sew beads or buttons instead of eyes.

We sew the paws, tail and head, leaving small gaps in the seams for stuffing with padding polyester. We turn out the details of the head, paws, and tail. We stuff the blanks with synthetic winterizer or cotton wool.

Sew paws, head and tail to the stand. The paws are sewn on at the top and fastened with buttons.

Sew pieces of denim on the tail.

We tie a bright bow around our cat's neck, you can put a sewn mouse or fish in the paws. If you want to give a product, then a souvenir, for example, a smoking pipe.

How to make a cute and original phone stand out of paper, our small master class will tell. The stand can be made from the base: a cardboard ring left from the adhesive tape, an empty round box of chips, salt, coffee, or a cup of cotton buds.

To maintain order on your home desktop, you need to purchase, or even better, make your own coasters for pencils, pens, scissors and other stationery. A pencil holder will allow you to always keep writing objects at hand, and not look for them in the corners of the bottomless desk drawers. In addition, children can be involved in the manufacture of a pencil box, who will bring something new and interesting to its design. In this review, we will show various stationery stands that you can easily make yourself, you just have to choose the right idea and bring it to life.

1. Stand for pencils made of cut wood.

To implement the idea, it is necessary to prepare a low log cabin of a tree, after which remove its inner part with a chisel and install pencils inside.

2. Pencil from sewer pipes.

We cut sewer pipes of different diameters into small segments with a jigsaw or hand saw. We glue each of the segments in a row on a short thin board (previously, the board, as well as all pipe sections, can be painted from a spray can in shades that combine with each other).

3. Pencil in a vest.

Cut out a triangular piece of “shirt” from white felt, glue it to a can of coffee or canned fruit. Then you take a layer of gray felt, cut out a rectangle from it along the circumference of the can, in front, cut out a triangle according to the size of the pasted white “shirt”, bending the edges and stitching it with threads to the collar area. Stick the "vest" on a tin can, draw a tie with a blue marker on a white shirt or cut it out of blue felt.

4. How to make a vintage style pencil holder.

Paste the tin can with a pink cloth, then tie it around the top, bottom and center with a beautiful lace ribbon. On the end part, glue the pre-purchased accessories in the form of a flower with pearls (sold in sewing shops).

5. How to decorate a pencil holder with buttons.

Method number 1. We take an ordinary small glass jar of baby puree, then string red and white buttons onto a thin elastic band, tie the ends of the elastic band into a knot, and put the resulting composition on the neck of the jar.

Method number 2. On a tin, glue buttons of different sizes (the color can also be any), then paint the product from a spray can in gold or paint in a brick tone, and shade with gold.

6. Do-it-yourself pencil stand decorated with twine.

We take a tin can, cover it with a layer of transparent glue, and wrap it, tightly joining the threads to each other. Finally, a bow can be glued on the front of the product.

7. Pencil from the bark of a tree.

Carefully remove the bark from a dry tree and glue it to a glass or metal jar.

8. How to make pencil holders from toilet paper tubes.

On each tube we put vertical marks, we cut a fringe along them. We apply PVA glue to each petal of the fringe, and glue all the tubes to the cardboard layer. Then, with a marker, draw faces on the front of the stand.

9. Pencils with decorative primer.

We glue a plain sheet of paper on a tin can, which we then paste over with decorative pebbles.

10. Pencil in a marine style.

We take several tubes from paper towels, apply them to the base, cut out of cardboard. We glue each tube with white napkins, forming large folds (you need to glue the napkins on PVA glue). Then we glue the tubes to a cardboard stand, and paint them with water-based blue, yellow and orange paint (you can mix white water-based paint with different colors of gouache, in this case you need to mix white with orange, white with blue and white with yellow). At the end, we glue plastic fish, starfish, shells and artificial algae to the stand, all this can be bought at the pet store.

11. Pencil case.

We cut off the sharpened parts of the pencils, you can cut with a clerical knife or use a jigsaw. We lay the bottom row of pencils on the cardboard tightly to each other, glue each pencil. Then we begin to lay out the walls, place two pencils on the sides and glue to the base, in opposite parts we also glue the pencils, so we continue until the height of the pencil holder satisfies its appearance.

12. Pencil case decorated with burlap.

Glue a piece of burlap on a tin can, glue flowers formed from light linen fabric around the perimeter of the neck.

13. We paste over the pencil stand with wallpaper or kraft paper.

We cut off from the wallpaper or kraft paper a part corresponding to the size of the tin, the resulting part is simply glued to the jar.

14. Pencil in a shirt.

From white felt we cut out a rectangle corresponding to the length of the diameter of the tin, in the center we make an incision of about 2 cm, glue the collar to the can, cut in front, join at the back, bend the collar. We cut off a rectangle from an unnecessary shirt and glue it on a jar over the collar. Glue the buttons on the front and tie a tiny tie from a matching ribbon.

15. How to make a pencil holder from floppy disks.

In four diskettes, it is necessary to melt holes with a hot awl, in each diskette there are 4 holes (two on the sides and two from the bottom), in the lower, fifth diskette in a row we make 8 holes, the awl must be heated over a candle (be careful). Then we form a cube from floppy disks without an upper part, we connect all parts to each other with a flexible wire, connecting its ends in the inner part of the product.

16. Do-it-yourself pencil holder from a shampoo bottle.

We cut the shampoo bottle in half, but not in the middle, but above, the cut line can be smooth rounded or in the form of cones (this will be the hair of the future monster). From the upper unnecessary part, cut out the handles, and glue them at the bottom. From black paper we glue the mouth of the future monster, from white eyes and teeth. You can stick Velcro on the back and fix the monster pencil holder on the wall.

17. Pencil in vintage style with lace.

We glue satin fabric on a circle of cardboard, glue lace along the edge of the podium. In the center of the circle we glue tubes of different lengths from under paper towels. We decorate them with fabric, lace and artificial pearls. Closer to the edge, we install a mannequin cut out of cardboard, and also decorated with lace, ribbons and beads. In the center we seat the figurine of a bird, and on the other side we put a small photo frame made in a suitable style.

18. Pencil from the catalog.

We divide the flexible catalog into five identical parts, lay it sideways, bend all five parts to the center, in the form of flower petals, gluing them with transparent glue. We go over the top of the pages with a layer of glue so that the pages do not fall apart. In the end, the product can be painted with spray paint, and the unpleasant parts can be decorated with beads or lace.

19. Pencil holder decor with ice cream sticks.

We glue the ice cream sticks on two tapes, then glue the resulting picket fence to a tin can. We supplement the product with a wide ribbon tied from the outside.

20. Decor of a pencil holder with a cloth.

We cut out rectangles from dense fabric corresponding to the size of the selected can. Then we decorate each piece with machine stitching with threads of contrasting color. We sew the case along the inside, turn it inside out and put it on the jar.

21. Pencil from a tree trunk.

We saw off a small part from a dry tree with a saw, then with a drill in the upper part of the stump we create many holes, into which we install pencils.

Unusual industrial pencil holders.

We also decided to show various factory-made pencil cases, some of them are really impressive. Below you can see what stylish and unusual stands for stationery are, they are available in the form of: camera lenses, monsters, hedgehogs, balls, Rubik's cubes, imitate stacks of folded paper, garbage containers, etc.

Homemade mahogany smartphone stand.

Hi all! Today we will make for a mobile phone in the form of a dog - a symbol of the year.

Now you need to make a stand for it. To do this, we cut out a circle with a diameter of 70 mm from wood. Sand it down with sandpaper.

We take a few gears that are so small.

We also take epoxy and hardener.

We take plasticine and apply a thin layer on one of the sides of the internal cavity of the figurine and glue it with polyethylene on the same side.

We knead the epoxy glue according to the instructions and pour about 2 mm into the cavity of the figure. This will be the first layer. We are waiting for the solidification of this layer. Then lay out our pattern of gears and fill in the rest.

Our dog is dry.

We remove plasticine. We take sandpaper and bring everything into a divine form.

We mark with a pencil on the figure the point where the hole will be.

Drill make a small indentation.

Now we make a wooden chop that will fix it all. We insert the chopstick into the stand, spread it with PVA glue and also the lower part of the figure with a thin layer so that the glue does not protrude. We connect. Leave until completely dry. Next, we rub our entire product with herbalist impregnation.

Here's what we got.

Almost any thing can serve as a coaster, and its uses can be countless. We provide you with original options on how to make a stand from any available materials that you can only have at home.

For example, in everyday life very often you need a stand for a tablet or smartphone, watching a movie, reading an article or rewriting something without a stand for electronic gadgets is inconvenient.

It would seem that it is better to buy a specialized case that will perform such a function, but sometimes it is required here and now, or you just don’t want to spend money. So you need to turn on your ingenuity and make such an invention with your own hands.

Stand materials

What materials can the stand be made from?

  • Cardboard
  • Wire
  • Fabric or foam
  • bottles
  • Wooden crafts
  • paper sheets
  • Constructor elements
  • Plastic cards

Do not limit yourself to this list, turn on the fantasy in your head and give any object such a function. The advantages of a stand that you can make with your own hands are manufacturing speed, low cost, and uniqueness.

The pencils

Take 4 rubber bands for money and 6 ordinary pencils. Connect them together in such a way that you get a three-dimensional triangle or pyramid.

Draw your attention to: inexpensive air conditioners with a guarantee in Sevastopol is always available in the Klondike online store!

paperclips

Using just one paperclip and half a minute of your time will allow you to no longer hold your phone in your hands during another activity. You just need to unbend the paperclip so that it securely holds the phone when you place it on the resulting structure.

A plastic card

We make a stand with our own hands at home from an unnecessary plastic card. You just need to bend the card across in two places so that you get the letter "S". To do this, make a bend 1 cm from the edge, and the second - in the middle of the remaining plane. This stand will hold your phone firmly.

Cardboard tablet stand

Cardboard has more uses than you can imagine. Surely you have an unnecessary piece of cardboard lying around somewhere in your house. Fold the cardboard strip in half and draw on it some figure that you think will hold the phone if you unfold the cardboard and put your phone on it.

Experiment with the shape and you will understand that any shape will hold the phone securely. Such a stand is suitable not only for a phone, if you use a larger cardboard sheet, then a book or a tablet can easily fit on such a stand.

Origami

There are many schemes on the Internet by which you can fold a stand out of plain thick paper. A few movements with scissors and the stand will be ready. It can be folded to a small size and carried with you, and when you need it, then a couple of seconds and now - your phone is no longer in your hands.

Wire

Just like with a paperclip, you can do with a wire. You will get a great stand, only now it can even support a tablet.

For a more stable design, you can resort to the help of stationery rubber bands, which will create elasticity and the stand will be more reliable.

Lego parts

You have a child? Does he have LEGO toys? Take a few cubes and make yourself a stand. Thus, you can create coasters for the whole family and for any gadget, you just have to show your imagination.

Think of an idea for what else you can make a stand with your own hands. And another option for a holder for your phone can be an old cassette holder. It's like a box, remember? It used to hold cassettes. Just turn the lid upside down and insert your phone into the cassette holder. Very convenient and compact.

Plastic bottle

It often happens that the socket is high enough from the floor, and there are no cabinets and other furniture interiors nearby where you could put your phone while it is charging. Should he not hang on a wire, dangling from side to side?

You can take an unwanted plastic bottle, empty of course, and cut out a pocket with a hook from it, for which you can hang the bottle on the plug of your charger. No more holding your phone when it's charging.

Look at the photos of possible DIY coasters and you will understand that there can be a thousand solutions.

The stand can be made from a block of wood, and give it the shape that you like best. You can even come up with a docking station, when connected to which, your phone will charge. You just need to make a hole for the charger and put the cable with the contact in there.

Learn step by step instructions on how to make your own stand in the form of a case. Thus, you will kill two birds with one stone - both the cover and the stand.

If you are a creative person, then you will find the makings of a phone stand in any item. The main thing is the strength of the structure, because it will be very disappointing if your phone falls or breaks from the experimental stand. We hope that such a fate will not befall you.
