Soloist of the group virus. Olga Lucky: biography, creativity, personal life

The Virus group was organized in 1997 in the city of Zelenograd, Moscow Region. Initially, the group was called "Watercolor", a little later it was decided to change the name, and the group became known as "That's it!". Some time later, an audio cassette with the first songs and recordings ended up in the hands of Moscow music producers Leonid Velichsky and Igor Seliverstov. The producers appreciated the work of the group and invited the guys to cooperate, after which it was decided to change the name again, and the group became known as "Virus".

Success was not long in coming, and in September 1999, the song "Don't Look For Me" firmly established itself on the first lines of the country's main hit parades. The following years were the peak of popularity for the Virus group. Among the popular and most famous songs of the group are "Everything will pass", "Happiness", "Handles", "Flight", "I ask you" and others. The group was in demand not only at home. The performances of the group were also held in Ukraine, Israel, European countries, the USA and Canada.

Since 1999, almost all pop music lovers have known about the Virus group, thanks to the song “Don't look for me”, which sounded on the air of almost all radio stations in the country. Bright incendiary music and excellent vocal performance sounded from almost every corner, causing a huge amount of positive emotions in people. The musicians of the group "Virus" feel the names of what the modern listener needs so much! They speak the same language with the public, without imposing their tastes. Their songs are clear to everyone without exception. These songs have everything - nostalgia and reality, feelings and vivid emotions!

The producers of the Virus group, in order to earn extra money, created an alternative line-up of the group, which in appearance was very similar to the main one. The second line-up participated in the tour, video clips were shot, while all this was given out as the performance of the first line-up of the Virus group. Some time later, the main part of the group found out about the appearance of doubles and Olga Kozina made an official statement in which she stated that the contract with the producers was signed due to inexperience, and the terms of that contract were unfair to the musicians. In turn, in response, threats were heard from the production staff against the performers.

As a result, the main composition of the Virus group decided to terminate the contract with producers Leonid Velichsky and Igor Seliverstov, and soon after the break in relations, the two parties met in court to resolve issues regarding who owns the rights to the name of the group and actually all the musical material recorded by the musicians . At the same time, the musicians of the Virus group received support from the Mega Sound recording company.

Listening to the hits of the Virus group means plunging into the atmosphere of the nineties. It's a classic in early 2000s pop and the age of girls dancing to "I'll ask you."

Compound

Virus was founded in 1998. The team began existence in the city of Zelenograd under the name "Watercolor", a little later changing it to "That's it!". The producers, Igor Seliverstov and Leonid Velichkovsky, listened to the cassette with the recording of the songs. After that, the participants were offered a contract, and the name was changed to the well-known "Virus". The first song "You don't look for me", released in 1999, became the absolute leader of the charts.

The soloist and founder of the group is Olya Kozina, known under the pseudonym Olga Lucky. Born in Zelenograd in 1982, she studied at a music school. Vocal competitions and major festivals have been an integral part of the life of a future celebrity since childhood.

In addition to solo performances at various events and concerts, since 1997 Lucky has organized joint work with musicians Yuri Stupnik and Andrey Gudas.

In Olga's biography, this creative union is the starting point on the path to fame. One by one, the hits of the Virus group appear on the radio and do not disappear from the top lines of the parades.

“Handles”, “Everything will pass” and other songs of the new youth group became known not only in Russia. The main unchanged composition of the team toured abroad.

Due to the increased interest in the music of the famous "Virus", the producers of the project decided to form another line-up, selecting singers who are outwardly similar to the existing group.

In early 2000, Siliverstov and Velichkovsky sent Lyudmila Shushanikova (Hart), who became the soloist of the second group, and two dancers, Vyacheslav Kazanov and Timofey Kubar, to perform.

With this line-up, the singers toured simultaneously with the main "Virus", thereby providing the producers with more income. In addition, in 2000, the clips “Papa” and “Spring” with the participation of Shushanikova appeared on the air, so as not to arouse suspicion among numerous fans.

Olga Lucky's acquaintance with the front group happened after a long period of time. The news that fans are being deceived by buying tickets for the Virus concert outraged the soloist. In an interview, Lucky admitted that some clauses of the contract with Siliverstov did not suit her.

Payments for each performance amounted to no more than ten percent of the total amount that the producers receive. The infamous Igor Siliverstov has been repeatedly seen in the mistreatment of his wards.

In 2003, a man started a fight with a security guard at a concert at the Olimpiyskiy. He explained his behavior by the fact that "Virus" received little time to perform, unlike the foreign "Scooter". Olga also mentioned that the participants were humiliated by the boss.

The existence of another composition later became known. To avoid conflict, it was decided to unite both groups. Olga Lucky, together with Lyudmila Hart, starred in videos for the songs "Don't Believe" and "I'll Ask You."

However, Kozina's negative attitude towards the soloist of the second group has not changed. Through litigation, "Virus" managed to terminate the contract with Siliverstov and Velichkovsky, retaining the name and the right to use the accumulated material.

It is curious that this case at the beginning of her career will not be the only one when Olga Lucky had to sue for the right to dispose of the group's musical material. In 2007, an incident occurred, after which the soloist almost ended up in the hospital due to a nervous breakdown.

Representatives of "MP3 ONLINE" through the court announced that they claim the possession of phonograms and texts of "Virus". By negligence, Kozina signed a document stating that the company has exclusive rights to the group's materials.

Music

Since 2003, the Virus group has existed in its original composition and has been collaborating with producer Ivan Smirnov. The first song, for which a video was shot under the guidance of a new mentor, is “Flight”. New musical achievements of Olga Kozina, Yuri Stupnik and Andrey Gudas will start from it. In 2004, the hit "Brother" appeared.

Further, in 2005 and 2009, "Virus" releases two albums each. Despite the changing world of music, the group remains in demand even now. Kozina has repeatedly told reporters that she will not allow the same ending within her team as the once popular "Demo" and other celebrities from the nineties, whose career ended on one famous song.

By the way, "Virus" is not the only project of Olga Lucky. The soloist has been busy working on Th3 Cats since 2011. The celebrity considers the group a successful combination of vocalist, drummer and DJ, proudly talks about the style of performance. The groups have diverse music, they exist separately from each other.

Despite the busy schedule, Olga has a personal life. She, although rather evasive, answers questions about the presence of a romantic relationship. It is known that Lucky's lover was Temmy Lee, a musician from Th3 Cats. He keeps his name a secret, as well as the details of the union with Olga. But in any conversations with the media, the singer calls herself a happy person.

Virus now

In 2018, fresh news from the world of show business about Olga Lucky and other participants has not yet appeared. You can watch the segments of life and the busy schedule of Olga Kozina on Instagram.

The last high-profile event associated with the star of the nineties occurred in 2017, after the death of the leader of the group. The artist shared her plans for filming a video, the plot of which is connected with the singer. In an interview, she admitted that the singer was an idol and an example of professionalism, so the news of Chester's death shocked Lucky.

Song "I would like" group "Virus"

Now the group "Virus" gives concerts, performs at private events. In 2017, a new video for the song "I would like" was released. Little is known about the fate of the members of the second squad. Lyudmila Shushanikova, after she left the team, joined the group and worked there for some time. Timofey Kubar got a job as an art director. Nothing is known about the activities of the other participants.

New project

In 2011, Olga Lucky presented her new musical project "The Cats" to the public. “This project is unique and there are no analogues to it yet. This team consists of three people: a DJ, a vocalist and a drummer,” the singer said. The musical style of the project is a combination of dubstep, drum and bass, industrial vibes and progressive trance. "The Cats" confidently claims to conquer the tops of various charts and rave scenes not only in Russia, but also abroad." According to InterMedia, the new band has already presented its first single to the audience - "Heaven". “But our fans can sleep peacefully, their favorite group will not suffer the fate of the one that ran in parallel with the “Virus!” the Demo group, Olga Lucky assures, the Virus! I'm not going to quit."

Group Vi:RUS! - this is Yuri Stupnik (DJ Doctor), Andrey Gudas (Chip) and the charming soloist Olga Lucky.

This is the most fashionable dance team from Russia, whose songs have been heard since 1999 on all dance floors in different countries and do not cease to replenish the ranks of the group's fans. "Don't look for me", "Everything will pass", "I'll ask you", "Happiness", these and many other songs are known all over the world.

Compositions of ViRUS! are constantly rotated on the air of many radio stations in Russia, the CIS countries and neighboring countries: Russian Radio, Dynamite FM, Radio Energy, Hit FM and others. ViRUS! is an

a regular participant in the gala concerts Golden Gramophone, Bomb of the Year, etc. The world-famous Tiffany Show uses the songs of ViRUS! to set your numbers. In addition, ViRUS! are recipients of six honorary awards.

Produced by the group "ViRUS!" is engaged in Smirnov I.V.

In early 2006, ViRUS!, together with their new producer Ivan Smirnov, shot a video for the song "Flight", which is broadcast on all central TV music channels, as well as on the air of the country's best radio stations.

"Flight" is the title track of the band's new album

Ready to come out in the spring.

Irina Mironova, the most fashionable and demanded clip maker, appeared as the director of the video.

From an interview: "We have been preparing and moving towards this for a long time. And we hope that people all over the planet will appreciate our work. The video sequence turned out to be very stylish and eye-catching, in general, fully corresponding to the song "Flight". Our energy will hook everyone."

So, full of optimism and energy, the members of ViRUS! ready to strike again.

At the moment, the group has released 7 albums, 6 video clips have been shot.

The guys are the owners of 6 honorary awards

In 1999-2000, the Virus group simply monopolized all radios and music players. In those not so distant times, all the songs of this group were known by heart, especially since the lyrics were clearly not borrowed from Pasternak or Akhmatova. Most of all, the group's hits resembled perky chants set to a dance rhythm. The most famous were "Pens" or "I'll ask you." Where is the group "Virus" now? Albums, new songs, concerts - what of this is there in the life of a musical group?

background

So let's dive into the past. The new mega-popular group, consisting of three people - Chip, DJ Doktor and soloist Lucky - successfully records hit after hit, shoots videos and tours all cities of Russia, and also conquers Europe. At this time, the producers, Igor Seliverstov and Leonid Velichkovsky, take a step quite familiar to the world of show business. While the Virus group is touring European countries in full force, they are picking up a second line-up - two charismatic dancers and a very similar vocalist. Moreover, they are selected not just for “chess” in the outback - new artists are filmed in clips, they record songs, etc.

When the main line-up and their replacement met, the producers took a completely logical step - they tried to create a single team. But the new group "Virus" of six people did not last long: the soloists began to compete, quarrels began with the management over the terms of the contract and the amount of fees. As a result, already in 2003, the main part of the musical group broke off relations with the producers and set off on a free voyage.

present tense

After the break with the leadership, the Virus group released four more albums, but none of them brought the fame that the group had from 1999 to 2002. Despite the fact that the songs continue to be recorded, and the members are actively engaged in a variety of projects, they continue to exist largely due to old hits. The soloist, not so long ago, declared that their group would never suffer the fate of another mega-popular band of that time - "Demo", so let's turn to the facts.

Popularity is expressed by two factors - the density of the tour schedule and the amount of fees. In 2013, the Virus group has performances 4-8 times a month, and invitations to corporate parties and other private parties are not taken into account here. It's a pretty tight schedule, so it's okay on that side. Now let's look at the amount of fees - various agencies offer to invite "Virus" for 120-200 thousand rubles. These are the prices for Moscow, without taking into account the cost of the rider and With whom can the team be compared in terms of the amount of fees? With Shark (from 150 thousand rubles), Angina (from 120 thousand rubles), the Vorovayki group (130 thousand rubles), Danko (from 160 thousand rubles), (from 180 thousand rubles), the Monokini group (200 tr.), and (how symbolic!) with the Demo group, which asks for their performance from 120 tr.

Despite all of the above, the Virus group will delight its fans for a long time to come. After all, the main audience of the team on the crest of success consisted of 15-16-year-old girls who are now about 30 years old. And they will undoubtedly rejoice at the old hits. Not because they are so wonderful, just to the sounds of familiar music, so many wonderful moments are remembered ...
