I always sift the flour and baking powder - this way the dough turns out magnificent. But you can do without it.


It does not take long to mix flour with other products. Literally a minute is enough to get a homogeneous viscous dough.


We take the form - I have such a mini-baking pan. If your form has a non-stick coating, the dough can be laid out immediately. My form has seen the signs, is pretty scratched, so I always cover it with baking paper.


I spread the dough in the center and begin to level it. The layer should be about a centimeter and a half. The dough will rise about twice in the oven.


We thoroughly wash the berries, remove the tails, dry them and then cut them in half lengthwise.


Spread on the dough without pressing. You can make a pattern, you can put in a chaotic order. Does not matter.


I bake such a cake in the oven at a temperature of 165 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes. During this time, it is completely baked, and the strawberries stop flowing and dry out a little.

Ingredients:

  • Sour cream - 1 glass,
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.,
  • Butter - 100 gr.,
  • Flour - 2 cups
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon,

We buy fresh home-made cottage cheese and sweet, not too large and not watery strawberries at the market.


Knead yeast dough. The recipe is the simplest - we make a quick dough in milk. We heat the milk a little, dilute yeast, salt, sugar and one tablespoon of flour in it. We place the dough in a warm place, in 15 minutes they will foam and will be ready to prepare the dough.

In a deep bowl, mix yeast with melted and cooled margarine. Now sift the flour into the dough. We start with one multistacan. Knead the dough with a fork, then switch to hand kneading. The dough is soft and pliable. Do not try to add flour much higher than the norm, as soon as the dough stops sticking to your hands, stop immediately. Yeast dough does not like too much flour.


We spread the dough in a deep dish, tightly wrap it with a towel. Preheat the microwave on microwave for 2 minutes. Then put the bowl of dough in there. It's perfect for 1 hour.


Now let's get to the stuffing. Homemade cottage cheese must be rubbed through a sieve with a tablespoon. Mix with sugar and eggs.


Add the strawberries cut into 3-4 pieces to the filling. We try to taste, if it seems to you that sweetness is not enough - add another spoonful.

  • 2 eggs.

Before starting cooking, you should defrost the berry in advance if you have it stored in the freezer. Fresh strawberries are peeled, washed and leaned back on a sieve.

Next, prepare the shortcrust pastry. Melt the butter, in any of the ways, on a steam bath or in a microwave oven. Whisk eggs, add sugar to it. Then add melted butter. Before using flour, it should be carefully sifted and mixed with baking powder. In the prepared container with sugar, butter and eggs, we begin to add, constantly stirring, the finished flour. Shortcrust pastry for the base of an open jellied pie will be soft and not too steep. Next, send the dough to the refrigerator for a while.

Then we move on to preparing the filling for our pie. We take a suitable dish, preferably deep, and mix eggs, sour cream and granulated sugar in it. Use a mixer or whisk. Next, add flour, and continue to beat until the mass becomes homogeneous, without lumps.

After that, the chilled dough is rolled out and laid out in a baking dish. The form must be taken with sides to fit the fill.


Top them with sour cream sauce.

Before sending our strawberry pie to the oven, it should be preheated to 170-175 degrees. Bake approximately 35-40 minutes. After the pie with strawberries is ready, do not rush to get it out, let it stand in the switched off oven until warm.

Then it must be removed from the mold and be sure to cool in the refrigerator, and it is ready for use.

Before serving, you can additionally decorate it with powdered sugar, coconut flakes or grated chocolate.

During the strawberry season, I could not resist and tried to experiment with my favorite recipe for the Fantasia pie, which I usually bake with apples. I didn’t know how the berries would behave in this recipe, but still I took a chance and added strawberries to a sweet pie as much as a whole kilogram! I'm sharing with you what I did 😉

The standard Fantasy Pie recipe contains the following products:

  • Eggs - 2 pcs.,
  • sugar ¾ cup
  • butter - 50 g,
  • wheat flour - ¾ cup,
  • I replaced 12 apples with 250 grams of fresh strawberries and 10 pcs. took for decoration
  • for a holiday cake, use walnuts,
  • powdered sugar

The composition of the base of the pie is similar to biscuit, and the name obliges you to fantasize: a pie with apples, pears, strawberries, apricots, raspberries, .... flight of your imagination.

The simplicity of the recipe lies in the fact that the products are simply mixed without whipping. The recipe indicates the amount of ingredients for a small cake or cupcake, which can also be baked in the original silicone mold. I bake such a cake in a large deep baking sheet, so I triple the composition of the recipe. I advise you to try baking a small batch and see how the dough behaves and how much filling you need to use. I know in advance that you will like it!
