Do-it-yourself pond made of plastic bottles and beautiful crafts from them. Water lilies from plastic bottles Doll from a plastic bottle

A lot has been written about the endless possibilities that junk material gives to needlewomen and just people with imagination. One of the most affordable, and therefore popular materials is plastic. It is malleable, easily dyed, takes any desired shape, and most importantly - there is a lot of it around. This, of course, is about plastic bottles that are in every home. The easiest way to use them is as vases and various coasters. To do this, the upper part is cut off, and the edges are processed as desired. But today we will offer you an unusual solution - a water lily craft made from plastic bottles, which will look especially impressive on small ponds or on the surface of country ponds, pools, lakes.

You don’t have to stock up on the necessary materials, because to make a water lily with your own hands, you only need what is at home.

We will need:

 • white plastic bottles - 3 pcs;
 • yellow plastic bottle;
 • plastic five-liter bottle;
 • scissors;
 • candle;
 • glue;
 • green paint.

To make your pond even more picturesque, do not limit yourself to one lily. Snow-white flowers on a bright green leaf will certainly please the eye. A small recommendation: tie a rope to the craft, fasten the other end to the shore. So your flowers will not migrate through the pond, carried away by the current or wind.

As a support sheet, you can also use a piece of linoleum cut out according to the appropriate template. In this case, it is necessary to attach the water lily to it from the back. Firstly, the fabric base is more easily dyed green, and, secondly, water will not destroy its front side covered with a waterproof film so quickly.

By the way, the presence of a reservoir for the manufacture of such crafts is an optional condition. By painting the linoleum blue and cutting it out in the shape of a lake, you can easily make a decorative pond on your lawn. To prevent pets or your baby from destroying it, fix the edges of the “lake” with stones (they can even be cemented). By decorating the garden in this way, you can make beautiful crafts

Hello dear gardeners! The topic of today's material is interesting to everyone and always relevant. It is probably familiar to many, but still I hope to surprise you.

Today, everything is sold in plastic bottles: water, lemonade, milk ... Of all the garbage that we accumulate, the most voluminous are the bottles: you put one in the trash can - and that's it: consider half a bucket occupied. And what is it like in the country! In many holiday villages, there are simply no garbage containers. There is only one way out: either take all this “good” to the city, to the nearest container, or somehow use what cannot be processed in country conditions.

Logical question: how plastic bottles can be used on the farm to be both useful, and convenient, and beautiful? That's what we'll talk about.

By the way, information sheet: plastic decomposes in water 100 to 500 years(according to different sources and depending on the type of plastic).

We have few factories that process garbage, so people themselves find interesting uses for simple and seemingly completely unnecessary things.

Plastic bottles in garden decor

If you wish, you can create such beauty - the neighbors will envy! Want to decorate your garden without spending too much? See if there are empty plastic bottles in your country house.

Beautiful neat flower beds

Plastic bottles can be used to protect flower beds. The benefits here are obvious: flower beds and beds are not washed away by showers, they always look neat and pleasing to the eye. I think it looks great ... How to make such a flower bed?

Of course, you will need a lot of bottles (preferably the same size). We pour sand into them, close them and begin to build a "palisade". Bottles will have to be dug a little into the ground to give them stability. After the flower bed is fenced, paint the resulting border in any color. In principle, you can do this in advance - as you wish. But it seems to me that it is more convenient to paint an already finished fence than each bottle individually. And dark plastic containers can be left as they are, it also looks pretty. An example of the performance and opinions of summer residents on this method of using bottles, see the materials:

Flowers, palm trees, butterflies and other "tropics"

The beauty is indescribable. Turn on your imagination, wake up your fantasy and create all kinds of flowers in your garden that will never fade or rot)).

To make it clearer how to make something out of bottles (for example, flowers), let's look at an example.

What may be needed:

 • plastic bottles of different colors;
 • scissors, awl, thick threads;
 • PVA glue and "Master";
 • acrylic paints;
 • candle;
 • wire;
 • beads, beads - for decoration.
With the rest, everything is more or less clear, but why a candle? Everything is simple. Cut off the necks of the bottles. We cut each neck not completely along, we make 6 petals. Give the petals a rounded shape. We light a candle and scorch each petal so that it melts a little. First, along the edges, so that they are beautiful and even, and then at the base of the petals, bending them at the same time, giving shape. Plastic when heated is well formed.

The stem is best made from thick wire. The stamens are made of thin wire, on which beads can be strung. It remains only to assemble the whole thing, fastening it with glue, using an awl and wire if necessary. Just look how beautiful the result is!

Cute animals for the garden

No one is made from bottles. The simplest, perhaps, is this. All you need is to cut and bend the ears, attach the tail and color it beautifully. However, there are crafts and very complicated ones. For example, animals from fairy tales. I will not describe their production step by step, otherwise the article will turn out to be of galactic proportions. I'd rather just show the video from the slides. From the photo, in principle, you can see what and how to do, it's not difficult to figure it out.

How do you like these animals? I think they look great! And if you involve children in the process, they will be delighted!

The tools used are the same as listed above. Paints - not necessarily acrylic. But they dry faster, which is a plus. And they hardly smell. True, they are also different.

Air curtains for the garden

These crafts captivated me precisely with their lightness and unusualness. I’ll specially collect bottles and make such a curtain in my yard! I think you can use bottles of different sizes.

The bottoms will come in handy, but you can also cut the leaves! From a distance it is not very clear what these transparent flowers are hanging on, but the idea is all the more interesting. We look ...

As you can see, you can fasten the flowers with threads, you can glue them to the base (for example, plastic wrap). I think this option is perfect for a gazebo. And it will be light, and the rain will not penetrate. There are a lot of options for curtains from bottles. But I still liked the first one better, and you?

Lamps and chandeliers for the garden

Actually, why not? Buying a lamp for the garden is unprofitable, just hanging a light bulb is ugly. A lamp made of plastic bottles is an excellent option for lighting a garden plot.

Such chandeliers are not ashamed to hang in the house.

Main rule: do not allow plastic parts to come into contact with the light bulb, otherwise they may melt. True, you can use an energy-saving lamp, it heats up less - up to +50 ... + 60 ° C.

Girls! If you don’t know how to attach the light bulb itself, leave this matter to husbands, brothers or fathers ... From you - creativity, from them - a lighting element =)))

bottle garden path

I recently wrote about garden paths in an article. But there was nothing about bottles, only about their caps. It turns out that a good path is obtained from the bottoms, along which it is pleasant to walk barefoot. note: the bottoms are laid on loose sand, the master must make an effort to fill them with sand. This will prevent their deformation in the future when you walk around them.

Household supplies from plastic bottles

That's where the expanse is ... If you think that garden decor from bottles is not for you, perhaps you will be interested in useful things that can be made from them.

Wash basins and boxes

The easiest option is to hang upside down the bottle, and when you need to wash your hands, just turn off the cap a little. It is better to cut off the bottom of the bottle and make it removable so that it is more convenient to pour water. There is nothing complicated here, even a child can handle it. Such a washbasin can be hung on a tree or somewhere else. By the way, use this idea when you go on a picnic - it's very convenient, and your hands are always clean.

It is advisable to make a homemade washbasin closeable so that leaves, insects and other debris do not get into the water. There are also more complex designs. You can, for example, embed a hose with a tap into a large bottle. But this is to be quite convenient.
Or you can make a box for bags, napkins or something similar out of a bottle.

Scoops and shovels

Making a scoop with your own hands is easy. Take the bottle and mark the shape of the future scoop with a marker. Next is the case of scissors. Well, or a knife.

Slippers

These are shoes that wear out pretty quickly. Therefore, durable and beautiful slippers on the farm will always come in handy. No, no, don't think that bottle slippers are just scoops with heels =))). I would like to see it ... Although there are simple options too. For example, this one:

A more complex version looks like this:

Of course, it is not necessary to make such bouquets. But in general, slippers are excellent. In order not to slip, and the leg feels comfortable, you can experiment with “layers”. How to make holes? Yes, even a hole punch! And if there are men in the house, let them solve this problem.

And from plastic bottles you can make very useful large containers for household needs:

Devices for repelling rodents and insects

There are many different ones. I will only talk about the mole repeller and the mosquito trap.

Let's start with the trap
Make it very easy. Cut off the top of the bottle and insert it into the bottom with the neck down. The design must be darkened with paper or cloth - mosquitoes will be more likely to fly there.

Pour into the bottom of the bottle as bait sugar yeast syrup. It is easy to make: pour hot water, add sugar and yeast, stir and cool. Such a trap will attract not only mosquitoes, but also bees, wasps, flies.

You can put the structure on the window or hang it - this is optional. It needs to be cleaned once a week.

By the way, I don’t know why the syrup is brown in the photo - maybe from cane sugar?))) Or maybe it’s kvass. By the way, yes - insects also fly to kvass. Somehow they left a jar of kvass on the porch, so many midges flocked there!

Wind vane repelling moles and more
These devices were described in detail in the article. There is also a video - you can see how to make such a design, how it works. Ask what scares him? At the bottom of the bottle, it is advised to pour beads, balls from bearings and other “rattling” elements. They say that the sound that this windmill makes is not tolerated by moles. Who has moles? Try it, then unsubscribe here, agreed?
Yes, the axis on which the craft is attached must be stuck into the ground - I think you understand.

About the fact that some use bottles, I think you already know. The bottom and throat of the bottle are cut off - a cylinder is obtained, which is dug into the ground. Such a cover protects the root system of a young plant from attacks by a bear.

Tool boxes

For these purposes, rectangular bottles are more suitable. For example, from under machine oils. However, there are also water bottles of this shape. Containers are made simply: mark with a marker, cut. Everything =))

These boxes can be very useful in the household.

Device for deep watering plants and their night heating

Some plants do not like surface watering. Therefore, my mother waters some beds with plastic bottles.

You need to cut off the bottom of the bottle, but not completely, to get something like a cap. We tear the earth on the side of the plant, make a small trench and put pebbles there. Drainage is needed so that water does not erode the soil. Then we put the bottles with their necks down and lay them on the ground. Now, to water the plant, all you need is to open the lid and pour the right amount of water. Here, look how our summer residents use plastic containers.

Some people dig in containers upside down, but then you need to make holes in the bottle so that the water leaves.

As for heating plants, you can simply pour water into bottles and put them over the plant. In the sun, the water will heat up and will give off heat to the earth for some time. I know that glass bottles are also dug into the ground, but today we are talking about plastic.

Garden knee pads

It is generally contraindicated for many people to work bending over, this is especially true for hypertensive patients. But how then to weed the garden? Yes, I'll tell you about the knee pads. If you work on your knees, your head will no longer be down, therefore, your well-being will not suffer.

All you have to do is find the right bottles, fit them to your knees and cut the knee pads to the desired shape. Then attach the ties. Everything is simple.

Flower pots

And what only pots from plastic bottles do not exist! Some simply pour earth into bottles, others make real masterpieces. The possibilities are endless. What's good: the bottles can always be painted in any color and hung anywhere. For example, what do you think of these ideas?

Very cute, and you will not immediately guess what the pots are made of.

Candlestick

I made my first candlestick from a plastic bottle back in elementary school, at a labor lesson. It's simple. Cut off the neck and bottom of the bottle (about half the bottle). Then cut the part with the bottom into strips and bend them. And inside you insert the part with the neck. She will hold the candle. In general, it's easy.

But this is only one of the options, you can connect two necks.

Broom

Instead of a thousand words, I will show one video.

Why buy a broom when you can make one in half an hour?

Funnels

On the farm, from time to time there is a need to pour something from one container to another. Not necessarily something edible - it happens, and diluted fertilizer, and poison for Colorado beetles ... Do not use a funnel from the kitchen for such purposes! And you can make a funnel from a bottle at any time.

Bird feeders

We fed the birds in these all winter. Bottles used large, 5-liter. I cut out windows in them, made small “thresholds” and “porches”. So that it was comfortable for the birds to sit, and the snow did not sweep inside. Another plus is that it is convenient to hang such feeders on trees, they already have handles.

Buildings made from plastic bottles

These are not funnels with pots, but something more serious. Entrepreneurial people can build something out of anything. Plastic bottles, for example, make excellent greenhouses and gazebos.

Greenhouses from plastic bottles

A finished medium-sized greenhouse costs more than 15 thousand rubles. I know for sure, because I was interested in this issue. Add to that the cost of assembly. Not everyone can figure out what's what. But there is an alternative that is not inferior in performance and will cost you ... only 500-700 empty plastic bottles! =))

The plastic from which the bottles are made is 20 times stronger than dense polyethylene. It keeps the temperature perfectly, does not melt in the sun and can last for decades. Greenhouse made of plastic bottles there are a number of advantages:

 • she is cheap;
 • durable;
 • easily repaired;
 • light in weight, it can be rearranged if necessary;
 • looks pretty cute.

I took a look at different sites and realized that there are 2 main ways to use plastic bottles in construction:

 1. The bottom of each bottle is cut off. A thin rail is taken and all the bottles are strung on it. Get ready-made building strips.
 2. The bottom and neck of the bottles are cut off. Then what happened - the middle part - is cut along. It turns out a rectangular piece of plastic. We iron it with an iron (necessarily through hard paper) to level it. From such sheets we sew more sheets. Overlap preferably. You can use an awl; for fastening parts - cord thread or wire. It is not recommended to sew with thread or fishing line - the seams will quickly rot and disperse.

When the sheets (slats) are ready, you can make a frame. It is made from ordinary wooden bars with a hammer and nails. Form - any. You can - a house, you can - a triangle. And then we attach what we made from bottles to the frame. In the first case, the planks should be placed as close to each other as possible so that the wind does not walk. Well, you can always stick it with tape. In general, you'll figure it out!)) And in the second case, ready-made plates from plastic bottles are simply nailed to a wooden frame.

The important thing is the roof. In general, a good frame can withstand a rather heavy weight, but knowledgeable people advise covering the roof not with bottles, but with polycarbonate sheets. Or something to strengthen for the winter - suddenly it will pile up a lot of snow. Here is another interesting post

Bottles can be reused not only for their intended purpose, but also for the manufacture of all kinds of crafts. Landscape design elements made from bottles are in particular demand.

These can be fences for flower beds, planters and flowerpots, lampshades, animal figurines, as well as decor for a garden or a pond.

Do-it-yourself water lilies from plastic bottles will look unusual and elegant on the water surface. Making them yourself is not difficult, it would be a desire and a little skill!

Necessary materials and tools

To make a plastic water lily from used bottles, you will need:

 • three white plastic bottles - for petals (for example, containers for dairy products);
 • yellow plastic bottle - the core and stamens of the flower (you can take a suitable mustard bottle);
 • a five-liter bottle - a leaf of a water lily (a bottle of drinking water; later it turns green);
 • sharp scissors;
 • candle (for melting the edges and giving them a natural flower shape);
 • waterproof green paint (for example, acrylic);
 • glue.

If you can't find a white bottle, you can take a transparent one and paint it

Do-it-yourself water lily from plastic bottles step by step

Step 1

From a plastic bottle of yellow color, the neck should be cut off. The rest of the plastic is used to make stamens, which will be in the center of the flower.

Step 2

Now you can already proceed to the design of the core of the water lily. We fold our blank and carefully melt it over the candle fire. Do not bring the workpiece too close to the fire: even if you manage to avoid ignition and melting, black soot on the yellow core will not add beauty to the craft.

If you did everything right, then the stamens will bend inward. Similarly, we process the flower itself, controlling that the petals are bent in the right direction.

The stamens should be bent when melted

Step 3

Using glue for plastic, we connect the flower with the stamens. Our middle water lily is ready!

Step 4

Now let's start cutting out the rosette of our water lily.

To do this, we take white plastic bottles (if there are none, we will have to paint transparent ones), bend their corners and attach them to the neck of our flower. Secure the structure around the neck with glue for strength.

Please the child - do it.

Step 5

The sheet on which our water lily will flaunt is cut out from the bottom of a large five-liter bottle. Its color does not matter, since you still have to paint it in rich green. It is better to apply paint in two layers so that stains are not noticeable.

You can cut a leaf for a water lily from a bottle of any color, and then paint it green

Attach the flower to the leaf with glue.

Our original craft is ready, and now you know how to make a charming water lily in a short time!

As you now know, decorating your garden with exquisite flowers is not at all difficult.

And all that is required for this is junk material and a little patience.

For people with imagination and skillful hands, it will not be difficult to turn unnecessary things into real masterpieces. Masters and beginners use crafts from plastic bottles for the interior, as garden decor and in the form of practical furniture. Colored plastic bottle caps are an excellent material for mosaic panels on walls and fences. The best ideas with detailed instructions and photos are easy to implement in the country, turning a bare area into a "glade of fairy tales", and filling the house with useful little things.

Important advantages of crafts from plastic containers

A well-made souvenir or trinket will eventually develop into a hobby if there are no limits to fantasy. Do not cease to amaze summer residents who have moved from simple hedges on a wire to buildings that delight in scope.

From the available material, which many people throw away, someone constructs:

 • greenhouse;
 • carport;
 • summer shower or bath;
 • country toilet or shed;
 • summer gazebo or sun visor;
 • a teremok for children or a playground;
 • sandbox with decorative borders;
 • various temporary structures on the site.

The main advantage of such structures is the available material. With reliable fastening of the elements, the walls of the building are aesthetic and quite reliable. It all depends on how the plastic bottles are connected. If you approach the matter thoroughly, the desired result will impress even experienced builders.

Plastic eventually becomes a real environmental disaster - it is difficult to recycle. But it is enough to involve all those who are not indifferent to the cleaning of the territory, and there will be a whole mountain of empty PET bottles for the construction of a greenhouse, a cascading flower bed or vertical gardening. The only drawback is the long collection of the same container, since the containers are produced in different colors and volumes.

Some manage to collect enough ornamental material in 1 season, others attract neighbors and friends to collect plastic. Someone decides to clear the area for picnics in order to improve the environment on the way to the dacha and collect material. As a result, both plastic bottles are in use and the territory is clean.

Another advantage is that plastic containers are soft and pliable, easy to cut, and no complex tools are required. With little skill, the material itself "dictates" ideas.

To create an original decoration you need:

 • interesting idea;
 • ready-made role model (illustration);
 • craft material with tools;
 • step by step guide to the training plan.

In the hands of a real master, plastic bottles take on a second life, becoming functional objects. Souvenirs are best done on a seasonal basis. For example, New Year's toys are made in winter, practical country houses - in summer, and in spring and autumn it remains to build a "glade of fairy tales" near the house for children.

Recycling plastic containers is an exciting activity for the family. It is easy to attract children to him by entrusting a simple part of the work. Don't forget to remind them that you don't just make a firebird or "Chunga-Changa Island" with palm trees from bottles, but take care of the environment. A yard or a school class can be involved in ennobling the territory.

Furniture and interior items from plastic bottles

Furniture made from plastic bottles looks like a masterpiece that not everyone can afford. They will need a lot of plastic containers of the same sample. Sofas and pouffes impress with their design and comfort, not inferior to real furniture. There is nothing complicated if the sofa is made in blocks - seat, back, sidewalls. If there are not enough containers, sofa blocks can be made alternately. It is better when they collect bottles from one drink, for example, two-liter kvass or lemonade.

The principle of "assembling" furniture from bottles is simple - they are exposed in layers and tightly wrapped with tape. To make the furniture softer and springier, a little air is released from each bottle and twisted tightly. In the place where the cap is, cut out the cap from another bottle and wrap it with tape. It turns out a block, which has a bottom on both sides - this is the basis of the furniture.

Then it all depends on the imagination, the type of furniture and the number of bottles available. We wrapped 7 containers of the same volume with tape, we get the basis for an ottoman. What will be its appearance and style depends on the master. For a soft seat, you will need a round pillow or a block of foam rubber according to the size of the top. The cover is cut out according to the size of the ottoman in the form of a cylinder, and it is convenient to insert a zipper along the side seams, but it is easier to sew up the upholstery tightly.

If there is not enough furniture for the summer, an ottoman for a summer residence is made from an old wadded blanket and a baby pillow, wrapping a block of bottles around them. Old curtains or a bedspread will go to the sheathing. If the pouffe should have a presentable look, fabric or eco-leather is chosen to be newer and more expensive.

To build a coffee table, you will need 4 racks of plastic bottles and a plywood shield as a tabletop, which can be hidden with a long tablecloth. In a similar way, they make a convenient stand for a laptop or a remote table for giving. For large furniture (sofa, chaise lounge or chair) from plastic bottles, you will need a lot of patience and source material.

Useful little things for the house from plastic bottles

Flowers and vases

It will not be difficult to decorate a schoolchild's bedroom or a children's room with crafts from plastic containers. You can build a whole bunch of artificial flowers. Put the resulting chrysanthemums, daisies or roses in a vase of the same material, adding the middle with diode bulbs on an insulated wire. This is how a night lamp of extraordinary beauty will look like, where a weak light shimmers in plastic petals.

Advice: To give the leaves a special shape, use the heating of the blanks and folding the corners with tongs!

To place a homemade bouquet, you will need a suitable vessel, just cutting off part of the bottle is not aesthetically pleasing. The edges of the cut are marked along the ruler to make the cut, fixing the result by heating the bends. A small transparent bottle is cut off to the very top, about a half is cut off from a large container. We choose a material with a corrugation or a “waist” in the middle so that there is an interesting base.

Then we do as fantasy allows, but we bend the edges beautifully. The fringed cut is obtained from vertical or diagonal notches of the plastic base. The resulting strips are evenly bent to the outside.

Note! It is important that all the notches and the depth of the cut are exactly the same, then the whole product will come out neat.

Depending on which edge is desired, the strips of the vase (the edges of any other product) are fixed in different ways:

 • curly bend;
 • stapler staples;
 • fusing;
 • bonding with transparent polymers.

Planters, flower pots and containers for seedlings

Colored plastic containers in the form of bottles and bottles of different sizes are suitable as containers for growing live plants. It is very easy to make a fragrant balcony from 3-liter tanks - a cascade of ampelous petunias. Fragrant flowers hanging from cut containers will help make the dream of a beautiful piece of paradise come true.

Large bottles and tanks cut in half are hung upside down and with a lid. At the bottom it is recommended to lay large pebbles for drainage. Excess water after watering will go to the plants in the lower rows. In the same containers, plants are grown without soil - in a hydroponic way with the addition of fertilizers. Fresh herbs and seedlings (in urban and country conditions) are also germinated in prepared plastic bottles.

Advice: Use the compact shape and the ability to hang containers for vertical gardening with automatic watering. In the absence of the owners, watering cans with water immersed in the ground will cope with moistening the plants.

Traps and feeders

Using plastic bottles, you can scare away pests or attract birds to the site. To do this, the tank is used as a feeder, and traps from bottles of chemicals are placed at the roots of fruit trees. From a double plastic container, craftsmen build traps for wasps, where they fly into sweet water and cannot get back out.

Equipment of the suburban area

At the dacha "in haste" it is easy to build crafts from plastic bottles in the form of an impromptu washbasin by hanging a full bottle upside down. It is worth unscrewing the lid a little, and a small stream of water will help to wash and wash your hands. It is also worth making a bench and organizing lighting with beautiful owls or gnomes of their plastic. Any garden decor for inspiration - on interesting illustrations.

Multifunctional items for the home

Make an original cosmetic bag from 2 bottoms of plastic bottles, sewing the edges with a zipper. This box can be used as a multifunctional item - a piggy bank, a case for large beads, hairpins or jewelry.

From a similar ball, suspended somewhere nearby, it is convenient to knit, pulling the thread from the ball inserted inside. Nail polish or a lipstick collection is easier to find in a makeshift zipper box.

New Year's decor

Bright Christmas balls, garlands or plastic bottle toys are a worthy use for transparent containers. From one bottle, cut into round strips, a transparent ball will come out. After fixing the sphere with a stapler, decorate in any way:

 • winding "rain";
 • pasting with crushed foam (snow);
 • decoration with sequins, beads and stones.

New Year's decor of white plastic bottles "with a waist" is suitable for snowmen or penguins. You can use black nail polish to draw eyes and other elements, cotton wool (snowball), sparkles, small buttons, beads and everything at hand. Funny caps for characters - from colored socks without a pair, knitwear strips are used as a scarf.

Advice: From homemade winter characters, a candle, ready-made tinsel and a couple of pine branches with cones, create an original New Year's composition so as not to buy a Christmas tree.

Curtains made of colored plastic caps and bottles

Space zoning is a popular design technique, where a do-it-yourself translucent curtain is often used. The original curtain is able to decorate any living space, cottage or covered terrace. In the interior, original hanging partitions made of unusual materials are widely used.

In modern decor, plastic is in demand, including bottles and caps for them. For curtains there are options:

 • from scraps of the bottom of small containers - stripes on a thick fishing line, swaying with air movement;
 • from colored covers - a fantasy panel of tightly strung elements;
 • a garland of plastic and lights to give the curtain on the diodes more aesthetics.

Original all-season flower beds

The summer season is over, and home-made plastic flowers are replacing the living flower beds, which are not inferior in beauty to real ones. Their advantage is the ability to decorate the territory at any time. These flower gardens pale against the backdrop of living plants, but in early spring and late autumn they are the only ones that attract admiring glances.

For daisies, you will need small plastic containers of white (petals), yellow (middle) and green (leaves). You will also need an awl and a candle (for heating), “liquid nails”, scissors and hard wire in green insulation.

We cut the base of the white bottle to the center, marking 16 segments - these are the petals. We bend the neat edges over the candle flame, we also make 2-3 chamomile corollas, which we connect in the center with an awl. Here the stem with leaves is fixed on the green wire, closing with the middle. We fill the center of the flower with a yellow basket with small cuts from 2 finely dissected circles with a fringe bent over the candle. We supplement the flower with green sepals from the bottom, collect all the parts and fix them together.

From the remaining pieces of green plastic, cut out leaves with a hole at the base (for stringing) and give the desired shape by heating over the flame of a candle. We fasten leaves on a wire handle, they should slightly bend around it. It remains for chamomile to make a few "companions" and find a decent place for the bouquet.

Using patterns and imagination, it is easy to build plastic lilies of the valley, roses, chrysanthemums or tulips. To do this, you need a plastic of a suitable color, from which several layers of petals are made to achieve a resemblance to real flowers.

All-season flower beds include mosaic compositions from containers filled with earth. Wall panels are made from covers. "Butterfly" or "ladybug" - in different versions.

Crafts from plastic bottles for the playground

The incredible beauty of a bird with plastic plumage is a whole “field of fairy tales”. This is a peacock or firebird, swans, doves, bullfinches and parrots. All of them are made from empty PET bottles according to the general principle:

 1. Design an aesthetic bird head with eyes and a beak;
 2. Build the torso and neck;
 3. String plastic plumage;
 4. Provide wings and tail;
 5. Plant on paws or fix on the selected surface.

Plastic swans can be fenced off with a blue "lake" of inverted plastic bottles. Outlandish birds will decorate the trees in the corner of the garden, which is reserved for children's games. You can choose a themed decor, such as a desert island with palm trees and parrots.

Plastic animals, birds and insects, familiar to our latitudes, as well as favorite fairy-tale characters, are complemented with other materials. Tires, wood and empty containers that are easy to paint will be used.

How to make decorations from plastic bottles for summer cottages and gardens

Original garden decor from improvised material is another way to give the site a personality while the young plants come into force. From green plastic bottles, it is easy to make funny frogs on the edge of the pond, watching dragonflies and butterflies from the same material.

Palm trees - a popular garden decor, consists of trunks (up to 15 brown bottles) and palm leaves (green plastic 5-10 pcs.). This is a simple process that even children willingly participate in.

Prepared brown cups with notches are strung on a thick steel rod (bamboo rod), having previously pierced the base. It is better to use brown containers (1.5-2 l) as a whole, cut in half, then you will only have to punch through the bottom.

We leave green bottles without a bottom and a neck, with the exception of the last one with a neck, which will be needed as a loop. We cut these containers lengthwise into 3 parts to the loop and cut them like leaves. If longer leaves are required, we attach the second half of the sheet with a stapler. All parts of the stem are strung on the base and attached to the top, connecting with a common loop. It remains to be securely installed on the site of "exotic guests" with a lush crown.

The material is collected for a whole year, but it is easier to involve neighbors and acquaintances in the idea of "ecological" cleaning. In the yards there are special containers for plastic - it is much easier to collect.

Preparation for work - removal of labels and glue residues from plastic bottles, it is important to rinse well and discard the deformed material.

If vertical fences are being built, they need to be filled. Depending on the idea, sand, stone chips or dry soil are poured into PET bottles, burying 1/3 with the neck down.

For selected purposes, plastics of different elasticity are used. Heat treatment is required for filigree work (flowers). It is important not to overheat the fragments cut into strips.

Fairy tale characters sometimes require additional painting. For example, pink piglets for a playground are best covered with an aerosol spray, fixed with transparent acrylic paint.

Plastic bottles are an excellent material in capable hands. Using them as a basis, it is easy to teach children a lesson in environmental education and fill the house or yard with practical things. With a creative approach, the color, volume and shape of plastic bottles themselves will prompt new ideas for an exciting creative process.

Raw material for creativity

. Several dozen plastic bottles of the same volume. Their number depends on the size of the future lake.
. Shovel for digging.
. Sand.
. Blue car paint (it will hold up for a long period of time).
. Decorative birds and water lilies to decorate a plastic pond.
. Stones and lime.

Getting Started

We begin work by filling the bottles with sand. Of course, you can leave them without it, just screw the lid tightly. Or use water. This is necessary to give the container rigidity when we dig it into the ground. Next, follow the next steps:

1. Color each bottle blue. It will be easier to use a spray can or a sprayer.

2. We plan a place for the future reservoir. It is necessary to dig a pit a little and soften the earth by digging it. This is necessary so that the bottle easily enters the ground. The ideal option would be to use a sand base. It is easiest to insert objects into such raw materials.

3. Now carefully stick the bottles with the cap down. We should only stick out the tops. Bottles should be pushed tightly to each other. So you get the impression that a natural reservoir has spread in front of you, which will still give glare in the sun.

4. In a circle, lay out the stones that are covered with lime.

5. The final touch will be the decoration of the plastic reservoir with various water lilies, storks and frogs. Do not limit your imagination and decorate the lawn at your discretion.

This decor can be used on the playground of the kindergarten. It will look attractive and cute. Yes, and the suburban area will be transformed if such a fabulous lake with inhabitants appears on the flowerbed.

Caring for him is also easy. Periodically wash your masterpiece with a stream of water from a hose.
