Paradise is incomparable

Heavenly bliss-women-st-in-de-describe-sue-mo, and it is impossible to even imagine it. In the earthly world, there is nothing that could be compared with him. No matter what peaks people reach in this world, in the best way, my pleasure with them is only a tiny part of bliss-women-st -va in Paradise. In some pre-da-ni-yah, it is reported that Paradise is a demon-to-ben: “This is a sparkling light and a ko-leb-lu -grass-you, tall-day palaces and running brooks, ripe fruits and races-beautiful, beautiful us, as well as many-number-th-numbers of kills in the eternal place, in bliss-women-st-ve and shine, in you-with-coy, purest and blissful obi-the-li ".

When the companions of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked him about the houses in Paradise, he described them in the most amazing way:

“There is kir-pi-chi made of gold-lo-ta and silver-ra, ras-creation is fragrant mus-kus, rubble is pearl-chug and yahont, and earth-la - saffron. Went there, bliss-women-st-woo-et and not bad-st-woo-et, lives-vet forever, but does not die-ra-et, his clothes are not from- na-shi-va-et-sya, but mo-lo-dost doesn’t pass. ” Right-div Allah, who said:

“When you look, you will see grace and great power there” (Al-Insan, 20).

The blessings of Paradise, hidden from us by Allah, are something great, which can neither be comprehended by the mind nor imagined:

“Not a single person knows what kind of must-la-dy for the eyes you cover for them in recompense for the fact that they co-ver-sha-li” ( As-Sad-zhda, 17). In “Sa-hi-he” there is a story told by Abu Hu-rey-ra that the Messenger of Al-la-ha, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“Allah said: “I have prepared for My righteous servants what the eyes have not seen, what the ears have not heard, what the human soul has not even thought of.” If you want, then read: “No person knows what delights for the eyes are hidden for them” (As-Sajda, 17) ” .

Muslim narrated it from the words of Abu Hurairah through several ways, and one of them says:

] قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ ، وَلا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ ، وَلا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ ، ذُخْرًا بَلْهَ مَا أَطْلَعَكُمْ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ [

“All-lah said: “I brought about a reserve for My-their great-ved-th slaves, something that you can’t see, de-eye-for, ears didn’t hear, about which the human soul didn’t even think about it. ” Leave the same what Allah has given you.” Then he pro-chel: “Not a single person knows what kind of must-la-dy for the eyes of the roof for them” (As-Sad-zhda, 17).

Mus-lim re-dal from the words of Sah-la bin Sa'd as-Sa'idi: Allah and welcome, described Paradise. He concluded by saying:

] فِيهَا مَا لا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ ، وَلا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ ، وَلا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ [

“There is something that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, what the human soul has not even thought of.” Then he recited the verse:

“They tear their bos from the steles, crying out to their Lord with fear and on-de-zh-doy, and race-ho- du-yut from what We do them on-de-li-whether. Not a single person knows what kind of mustache for the eyes you cover for them in recompense for the fact that they co-ver-sha-li ”(Ac -Sad-zhda, 16-17) ".

Gates of Paradise

Paradise has gates through which believers and angels enter:

“[The righteous] have prepared the gardens of Eden, the gates of which will open before them” (Garden, 50);

“Angels will enter them through any gate. Peace be upon you for your patience! How beautiful is the Last Abode!” (Ar-Ra'd, 23). The All-good and Most High Lord announced that these gates will open when the believers approach Paradise, and the angels will greet them with greetings, congratulating them on their safe arrival:

“When they approach and its gates open, its guards will say to them: “Peace be with you! You were good. Enter here forever!” (Az-Zumar, 73).

Our Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) informed us that the gates of Paradise open every year in the month of Ramadan. Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise open.”

There are eight gates of Paradise, and one of them is called Ar-Rayyan. Only those who fast will enter through it. In both Sahihs, Sahl bin Sa'd as-Sa'idi reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] فِي الْجَنَّةِ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابٍ ، فِيهَا بَابٌ يُسَمَّى الرَّيَّانَ ، لا يَدْخُلُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّائِمُونَ [

“Paradise has eight gates, and one of them is called Ar-Rayyan. Only those who have fasted will enter through it.”

Along with these gates prepared for those who fast, there are gates for those who prayed a lot, and for those who distributed donations, and for those who fought in the path of Allah. In a hadith narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim from the words of Abu Hureyra, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“Whoever spends in the way of Allah gold and silver from his property, he will be called through the gates of Paradise, and Paradise has gates. The one who prayed a lot will be called through the gates of prayer, the one who gave a lot of alms will be called through the gates of alms. The one who participated in jihad will be called through the gates of jihad, and the one who fasted a lot will be called through the gates of Ar-Rayyan. Then Abu Bakr said: “By Allah, those who are called through any of these gates will not need anything. But, Messenger of Allah, are there those who will be called through all these gates? He said, "Yes, and I hope you are one of them."

Abu Bakr meant people who would be able to absorb all the listed qualities, i.e. they will pray a lot and fast a lot, give alms and participate in jihad, and do other good deeds. Such people will be called through all the gates of Paradise. From the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), it also follows that through all eight gates those who spend gold and silver in the way of Allah will be called. He also reported that if a person regularly performs ablution, and then raises his eyes to the sky and says: “I testify that there is no deity except Allah alone, Who has no partners, and I testify that Muhammad is His slave and messenger,” then all eight gates of Paradise will open for him, and he will be able to enter through any of them at his own discretion.

In the Sahih of Muslim, the Musnad of Ahmad and the four Sunanahs, the emir of the faithful 'Umar bin al-Khattab cites the hadith that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“If any of you perform ablution properly, and then say: “I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah alone, Who has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger,” then eight heavenly gates, and he can enter through any of them.

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said that Muslims who will not be presented with an account will enter Paradise through a special gate prepared for them - the rightmost gate of Paradise, and the rest of the Muslims will enter through the remaining gates along with the followers of other communities. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from the words of Abu Hurairah a hadith about intercession, which says: “Allah will say: “O Muhammad, enter those of your followers who will not be given an account through the right gate, and through the other gate they will enter with other people." This hadith also describes the width of the gates of Paradise: the distance between the two edges of the gate is equal to the distance from Mecca to Hajar or from Mecca to Busra. It says:

“By Him in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the distance between the leaves of the gates of Paradise is equal to the distance between Mecca and Hajar or between Mecca and Busra.”

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) reported that the gates of Paradise open in Ramadan. In both the Sahihs and the Musnad of Ahmad, Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ[

“When the month of Ramadan comes, the gates in heaven open.” One of the versions says:

"... the gates of Paradise are opened, and the gates of Fire are closed."

Some hadiths say that the distance between the leaves of the gates of paradise is equal to forty years of travel. Ahmad in Musnad and Abu Nu'eim in Hilya al-awliyya reported from the words of Hakim bin Muawiyah that his father narrated from the words of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him:

] وَمَا بَيْنَ مِصْرَاعَيْنِ مِنْ مَصَارِيعِ الْجَنَّةِ مَسِيرَةُ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا ، وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمٌ وَإِنَّهُ لَكَظِيظٌ [

“Indeed, the distance between two gates in Paradise is equal to forty years of travel, but the day will come when it will be overflowing.” Isnad of the hadeeth is authentic.

Muslim and Ahmad narrated from the words of ‘Utba bin Ghazwan: “We were told that the distance between the two leaves of the gates in Paradise is forty years of travel, but the day will come when it will be overflowing with crowds.”

Al-Tabarani in the code "Al-mu'jam al-kabir" conveyed the words of 'Abdullah bin Salam: "Verily, the distance between the two doors in Paradise is forty years of travel, but they will crowd into them as the camels crowding at the watering hole, suffering from thirst."

Paradise steps

1. Evidence that the inhabitants of Paradise will occupy different degrees in it

Paradise consists of steps one above the other, and the inhabitants of it will surpass each other according to the places they occupy. Allah Almighty said:

“And for those who come to Him, being believers, having performed righteous deeds, higher levels are prepared” (Taha, 75).

Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah wrote about this issue:

Paradise consists of steps, between which there are great differences. God-fearing believers close to Allah will occupy these steps depending on their faith and God-fearing. The Almighty and Almighty Allah said:

“If anyone raises a pre-ho-dying life, then We will immediately bestow what we-la-eat, then, whom according to -zhe-la-eat. And then We pre-dos-ta-wim him Ge-en-nu, where he will burn with the contemptible and rejected women. ! And if anyone wants to-love the next life and mouth-re-mit-sya to it over-le-zha-schim-ra-z, bu-du-chi I believe, then his old-ra-niya will be from-bla-go-da-re-na. ! Each of those and others pre-schen-ny-mi. ! Look how one of them We give preference to others before others. But the Afterlife, no-doubt-but, you are higher in dos-to-in-st-vu and pre-im-shche-st-vu ”(Al-Is-ra, 18-21 ).

Allah Almighty has explained that He generously rewards both those who desire the Hereafter and those who yearn for the Hereafter. The gifts of Allah are not forbidden to pious people or sinners. The Almighty said:

“See how We have given preference to one of them over others. But the Last Life is undoubtedly higher in dignity and advantage ”(Al-Isra, 21). He explained that the differences between people in the Hereafter will be greater than the differences between them in this world, and the steps in the Hereafter are higher than the steps in the earthly world. There will also be differences between the prophets, as well as between the rest of the believing slaves:

“These are the messengers. We have given preference to one of them over others. Among them were those with whom Allah spoke, and some of them Allah elevated to degrees. We gave Isa, the son of Maryam, clear signs and supported him with the Holy Spirit (i.e. Jibril) ”(Al-Baqara, 253);

“Some prophets We have preferred over others. And We gave Dawood the Psalter” (Al-Isra, 55).

In the Sahih of Muslim, Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“A strong believer is better and more loved by Allah than a weak believer, but in each of them there is good. Be persistent in what benefits you, seek help from Allah and never give up. If something happened to you, then don't say: "If I had done this, it would have been this and that." say only: “So Allah predestined, and He did as He wished,” because “if” provides an opportunity for the machinations of the devil.”

In both Sahihs, Abu Hurairah and 'Amr bin al-'As reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] إِذَا حَكَمَ الْحَاكِمُ فَاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أَصَابَ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ، وَإِذَا حَكَمَ فَاجْتَهَدَ ثُمَّ أَخْطَأَ فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ [

“If the judge made a decision on the basis of his own judgment, and it turned out to be correct, then he will receive a double reward. If he made a decision on the basis of his own judgment and made a mistake, he will receive a simple reward.

Allah Almighty said:

“[People] are not compared with those of you who spent and fought until the victory [over Mecca]. These are of a higher degree than those who expended and fought thereafter. But to each [of them] Allah promised the best” (Al-Hadid, 10);

“Those of the believers who sit out are not equal to those who fight in the way of Allah with their property and their souls, except for those who experience hardships. Allah exalted those who fight with their property and their souls over those who sit out by a whole degree, but to each of them Allah promised the Best (i.e. Paradise). Allah exalted those who fight above those who sit back thanks to a great reward - steps from Him, forgiveness and mercy. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful"

(An-Nisa, 95-96);

“Do you really equate the quenching of the thirst of a pilgrim and the maintenance of the Sacred Mosque with [deeds] of those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and fought on His path? They are not equal before Allah, and Allah does not guide the unjust people. ! Those who believed, made the migration and fought in the way of Allah with their property and their souls, occupy a greater step in front of Allah. They are the successful ones. ! The Lord will gladden them with the news of His mercy, His contentment and the gardens of Eden, in which eternal bliss is prepared for them. ! They will stay in them forever. Indeed, Allah rewards with a great reward ”(At-Tauba, 19-22);

“Is it possible that he who humbly spends the night hours, falling on his face and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [is equal to an unbeliever]? Say: Are those who know and those who do not know equal? Verily, only those who have understanding remember the edification” (Az-Zumar, 9);

“Allah exalts those of you who believe and those who have been given knowledge. Allah is Aware of what you do” (Al-Mujadala, 11).

Al-Bukhari reported from the words of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“The one who believes in Allah and His Messenger, performs prayer and fasts in Ramadan, Allah undertook to enter Paradise, regardless of whether he fought in the path of Allah or sat out in the land where he was born.” He was asked: “Messenger of Allah, shall we please the people?” He said: “Verily, in Paradise there are one hundred steps that Allah has prepared for those who struggled in the way of Allah, and the distance between each two of them is equal to the distance from heaven to earth. If you begin to ask Allah for anything, then ask Him for Firdaus, for, truly, he is in the middle of Paradise at its very peak, and above it is the Throne of the Merciful (the transmitter was not sure of the last phrase), and from there originate the heavenly rivers".

The Sahih also cites the hadith of Anas that Umm Harisa, the mother of a young man who died in the battle of Badr from a stray arrow, came to the Messenger of Allah r and said: “Messenger of Allah, you know what place Harisa occupied in my soul. If he got into the Garden of Eden, then I will not cry, but if he does not, then you will see what I will do. He said:

“Is there only one garden? Indeed, there are many gardens, and he resides in the highest Firdaus.

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) made it clear that the people of Paradise will be superior to each other depending on the places they occupy. In the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"Indeed, the inhabitants of Paradise will see the inhabitants of the upper rooms above them as far away as you see a bright rising or setting star in the east or west of the sky - because of the superiority of some of them over others." The people said: “Messenger of Allah, surely these are the dwellings of the prophets, which no one else can reach?” He said: “Not at all, I swear by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, these are people who believed in Allah and believed the messengers.”

In the Musnad of Ahmad, the Sunan of at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Maji, and the Sahih of Ibn Hibban, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى يَرَاهُمْ مَنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا يُرَى الْكَوْكَبُ الطَّالِعُ فِي الأُفُقِ مِنْ آفَاقِ السَّمَاءِ ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَنْعَمَا [

“Indeed, the inhabitants of high degrees are seen by those who are below them, as you see a star rising on the horizon. Among them will be Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, and they will be blessed.

Al-Qurtubi wrote:

You should know that the high position and appearance of these chambers differ in the same way as the deeds of the people who settle in them differ. Some of them will be above others and will be above them.<…>The words “people who believed in Allah and believed the messengers” do not refer to deeds or anything else, except for faith and recognition of the truthfulness of the messengers. This means that here we are talking about perfect faith and recognition of the truthfulness of the messengers without hesitation and the demand for signs. Is it possible to reach the upper rooms only through the faith and recognition that most people have? If this were possible, then all those who recognize monotheism would fall into the highest chambers, ascending the highest steps. But this is not possible, because Allah Almighty said:

“They will receive the Highest Place as a reward for being patient” (Al-Furqan, 75). Patience is diligence and steadfastness, submissive humility before Him in the soul. This is the quality of intimate slaves. Another verse says:

“Neither your wealth nor your children bring you closer to Us, unless you believe and do what is right. For such people, the reward for what they have done will be multiplied, and they will remain in the upper rooms, being safe” (Saba, 37). Here it is emphasized that one cannot get into the upper rooms through wealth or children, but only through faith and righteous deeds. The reward of such people will be multiplied, and they will be settled in the upper rooms. You are taught that faith is the peace that the soul yearns for. She brings peace, no matter what misfortune befalls a person, as well as her decrees and laws. But righteous deeds should not be mixed with bad deeds, as they spoil them. Actions are righteous and do not have an admixture of bad deeds only when faith is perfect, and a person is convinced of the One in whom he believed, and in all His commands and laws. The faith and deeds of the one who alternates righteous deeds with sins are not like that, and therefore his position will be lower.

People who get to the high levels will feel more pleasure than the rest of the inhabitants of Paradise. Allah said that there are two gardens for those who fear Him:

“For those who feared to stand before their Lord, two gardens have been prepared” (Ar-Rahman, 46). Describing them, He said:

“And before those two there are two more gardens” (Ar-Rahman, 62). These two gardens are located lower than the previous two. If you reflect on the description of the last two gardens, it becomes clear that they are inferior to the previous two. Therefore, the first two gardens are prepared for the approximate slaves, and the next two are for the people of the right side. Ibn ‘Abbas and Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari spoke about this.

Al-Qurtubi wrote:

Describing the gardens, Allah pointed out the differences between them. About the first two gardens it is said:

“In both of them flow two sources” (Ar-Rahman, 50), and about the second two it is said:

“In both of them, two springs seethe” (Ar-Rahman, 66). But seething springs are not running streams, they yield to them. About the first two gardens it is said:

“Both of them have a pair of all fruits” (Ar-Rahman, 52), i.e. known and unknown, fresh and dry. Allah mentioned them in general, without specifics. About the last two gardens it is said:

“They both have fruits, date palms, pomegranates” (Ar-Rahman, 68), and it does not say that all fruits will be in pairs. The description of the first two gardens says:

“They will lie, leaning against it, on mats lined with brocade from below” (Ar-Rahman, 54), and about the last two it is said:

“They will lie leaning against green cushions and embroidered carpets” (Ar-Rahman, 76). The word العبقري "‘abkari" indicates the presence of patterns, and, undoubtedly, brocade bedding is better than embroidered carpets. The word الرفرف "rafraf" means "tent cloth". Of course, mats suitable for people to lean on are better than a cloth. About the houris who are in the first two gardens, it is said:

“They are like rubies and corals” (Ar-Rahman, 58), but about those in the last two gardens:

“There are good, beautiful virgins there” (Ar-Rahman, 70). Not every beauty is like rubies and corals. Finally, about the first two gardens it is said:

“In both of them there are branches” (Ar-Rahman, 48), and about the last two:

“They are both dark green” (Ar-Rahman, 64), i.e. there is so much greenery in them that they seem dark. In the first case, Allah described the gardens by mentioning the abundance of branches, and in the second case, he only called them green.

In the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, there is a hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“He will have two gardens, in which the vessels and everything else will be of silver, and in the other two gardens of gold. And in the Garden of Eden, only the veil of majesty on His Face will separate people from the opportunity to look at their Lord. In the version of at-Tirmidhi it is said: “In Paradise there are two gardens of silver…”

Allah Almighty and Almighty reported that pious slaves would drink from a cup a drink mixed with camphor:

“And the pious will drink from a cup [wine] mixed with camphor” (Al-Insan, 5). Elsewhere it says:

“They will drink from bowls [wine] mixed with ginger” (Al-Insan, 17). Obviously - and Allah knows best about this - here we are talking about the people of the right side. Another verse says:

“It is mixed with a drink from Tasneem, a source from which those close to drink” (Al-Mutaffifin, 27-28). It turns out that people on the right side will drink wine mixed with tasnim (the same name is given to the source in Paradise, where this drink is drawn from), and the approximate slaves will drink tasnim in its pure form.

2. People who will occupy the highest and lowest places in Paradise

In the Sahih of Muslim, al-Mughirah bin Shu'ba reported that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

Musa asked his Lord: "Who will take the lowest place in Paradise?" He replied: “It will be a man who will come there after the inhabitants of Paradise have already entered it. He will be told, "Enter Paradise." He will ask: “Lord, how? After all, people have already taken their places in it and took what was due to them. They will say to him: “Will you be pleased if you receive the kingdom of one of the kings of the earth?” He'll say, "I'll be pleased, Lord." They will say to him: "You will get it, and the same amount, and the same amount, and the same amount, and the same amount." The fifth time he will say, "I am pleased, Lord." They will say to him: “You will receive it and ten times more in addition, as well as everything that your soul desires and that your eyes enjoy.” He will say, “I am pleased, Lord.” Musa asked: “Lord, who will take the highest place?” He said, “These will be those whom I will deign. Their blessings I have grown with My Hand and sealed. Eyes did not see them, ears did not hear them, and the human soul did not even think about them.

Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “This is confirmed in the Scripture of the Mighty and Great Allah: “No person knows what delights for the eyes are hidden for them” (As-Sajda, 17).”

3. The highest place in Paradise

The highest place in Paradise is called "vasila", and it will be occupied by a single person. If it is the will of Allah, it will be God's prophet and chosen one Muhammad, may Allah bless him and welcome him. Ibn Kathir in the book "Al-bidaya wa-n-nihaya" said: "The highest place in Paradise is wasila. This is the place of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. In support of this, he cited the hadeeth of Jabir bin ‘Abdullah, which was included in Sahih al-Bukhari. It reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“If the one who hears the adhan says: “O Allah, the Lord of this perfect call and this prayer, grant Muhammad the highest degree in Paradise, exalt him above the rest of creation and lead him to that worthy place that You promised him / Allahumma Rabba hazihi-d-da'wati-t-tammati wa-s-salyati-l-kaimati ati Muhammadani-l-vasilyata wa-l-fadylyata wa-b'ashu makaman mahmudani-l-lyazi wa'adtah," then he will be honored with intercession on the day of resurrection.”

Then he cited the hadeeth of ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin al-‘As mentioned in Muslim’s Sahih. It reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“If you hear the voice of the muezzin, then repeat his words, and then pray for my blessing, for the one who prayed for me once, Allah will bless ten times for this. And then ask Allah for me the highest degree. This is the place in Paradise that belongs to only one of the slaves of Allah, and I hope that it will be me. The one who asks for me the highest degree from Allah will be awarded intercession.

The Companions asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "What is wasila?" He said:

“This is the highest step in Paradise, which only one person can ascend, and I hope that it will be me.” This hadeeth was narrated by Ahmad from the words of Abu Hureyra. In his collection, Abu Sa'id narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] الْوَسِيلَةُ دَرَجَةٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ، لَيْسَ فَوْقَهَا دَرَجَةٌ ، فَسَلُوا اللَّهَ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَنِي الْوَسِيلَةَ [

“Wasila is the highest step before Allah. Ask Allah to grant it to me!”

4. About those who will take high steps

One of those who will occupy the high steps in Paradise will be the fallen martyrs. The best of them are those who take their places in the front ranks and do not turn back until they meet death. Ahmad's Musnad and al-Tabarani's Mu'jam narrate Nu'aim bin Hammar that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“The best of martyrs are those who fight in the front row and do not turn their faces until they die. They will wallow in high chambers in Paradise, and your Lord will smile on them. If your Lord smiles on a slave anywhere, he will not be billed.” Isnad of the hadeeth is authentic.

The one who cares for the widows and the poor will be on the same footing as those who fought in the path of Allah. In the Sahih of Muslim, Abu Hurairah narrates: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] السَّاعِي عَلَى الأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ- وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ : كَالْقَائِمِ لا يَفْتُرُ وَكَالصَّائِمِ لا يُفْطِرُ [

“The one who takes care of the widows and the poor is like the one who fights in the way of Allah.” It seems that he also said: “And to the one who stands up prayers without interruption, and to the one who fasts without breaking the fast.”

The places near the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) will be occupied by those who took care of the orphans. In the Sahih of Muslim, Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] كَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ أَنَا وَهُوَ كَهَاتَيْنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ [

"I and the one who takes care of an orphan at his own or someone else's expense, we will be in Paradise like these two." While reciting this hadith, Malik made a sign with his index and middle fingers.

Allah raises parents to high levels through the prayers of their children. In the Musnad of Ahmad, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَرْفَعُ الدَّرَجَةَ لِلْعَبْدِ الصَّالِحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ أَنَّى لِي هَذِهِ ؟ فَيَقُولُ: بِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَلَدِكَ لَكَ [

“Allah will raise the righteous servant to a higher level in Paradise, and he will say: “Lord, where did I get this from?” He will answer him: “Because your son asked forgiveness for you.” Ibn Kathir called it an authentic isnaad, although it does not appear in any of the six authoritative collections. However, it is confirmed by the account of Abu Hurairah in Muslim's Sahih. It reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] إِذَا مَاتَ الإنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ ثَلاثَةٍ: إِلاَّ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ [

“When a person dies, his deeds cease, except for three: a good deed that benefits others; knowledge that people use; and a righteous son who prays for him."

Earth in Paradise

In both Sahihs, there is a hadith of Anas bin Malik about ascension to heaven, narrated from the words of Abu Dharr. It reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] أُدْخِلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا فِيهَا جَنَابِذُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ وَإِذَا تُرَابُهَا الْمِسْكُ [

"I was brought into Paradise, and in it were rocks of pearls, and its earth was musk."

In Muslim's Sahih and Ahmad's Musnad, Abu Sa'id narrated that Ibn Sayyad asked the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about the land in Paradise. He replied:

"It's white flour, pure musk."

Ahmad in his Musnad reported from the words of Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said about the Jews:

“I will ask them about the land in Paradise. It's white flour." When he asked them, they said, "This is bread, Abu al-Qasim." Then he said: "Bread made of white flour."

Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi and ad-Darimi reported that Abu Hurairah asked: "Messenger of Allah, what are creations made of?" He replied: "From the water." People asked: “What are the buildings in Paradise made of?” He said:

“There is kir-pi-chi made of gold-lo-ta and silver-ra, ras-creation is fragrant mus-kus, rubble is pearl-chug and yahont, and earth-la - saffron. Went there, bliss-women-st-woo-et and not bad-st-woo-et, lives-vet forever, but does not die-ra-et, his clothes are not from- na-shi-va-et-sya, but mo-lo-dost doesn’t pass. ”

Rivers in Paradise

Almighty and Almighty Allah said that rivers flow under the Gardens of Eden:

“Rejoice those who believe and do righteous deeds with the fact that gardens of Eden are prepared for them, in which rivers flow” (Al-Baqarah, 25);

“It is for them that the gardens of Eden are prepared, in which rivers flow” (Al-Kahf, 31).

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described the rivers of Paradise to us clearly and unequivocally. During his ascension to heaven, he saw four rivers rising from the base of the Lotus of the Ultimate Limit (as-sidra al-muntaha). Two of them are explicit and two are hidden. He asked, "Jibril, what are these rivers?" He replied: “The two hidden rivers are the rivers in Paradise, and the two obvious ones are the Nile and the Euphrates.”

In Sahih al-Bukhari, Anas bin Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

]رُفِعْتُ إِلَى السِّدْرَةِ فَإِذَا أَرْبَعَةُ أَنْهَارٍ : نَهَرَانِ ظَاهِرَانِ ، وَنَهَرَانِ بَاطِنَانِ ، فَأَمَّا الظَّاهِرَانِ النِّيلُ وَالْفُرَاتُ ، وَأَمَّا الْبَاطِنَانِ فَنَهَرَانِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ [

“I was raised to the Lotus of the extreme limit, and there were four rivers: two obvious and two hidden. The two visible rivers are the Nile and the Euphrates, and the two hidden ones are the rivers in Paradise.”

In the Sahih of Muslim, Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

[ سَيْحَانُ وَجَيْحَانُ وَالْفُرَاتُ وَالنِّيلُ كُلٌّ مِنْ أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ ]

"Syr Darya and Amu Darya, Euphrates and Nile - all these are rivers from Paradise".

Al-Al-ba-ni pi-sal: “Obviously, these rivers are called re-ka-mi from Paradise, because they take na-cha-lo from-to-yes, because man-lo-age is also from Paradise. In such a case, this hadith is not pro-ti-vo-re-chit that which is good-ro-sho from-west-but and easy to see - that which these rivers have known is-to-ki on earth. If the meaning of ha-di-sa is not in this or is not similar to this, then it is from-no-sit-sya to co-cred-vein-no-mu knowledge. We are obligated to believe in him, following the one who told us about this. ”

Al-Ka-ri said: “These four-you-re-re-ki are called re-ka-mi from Paradise, because the water in them is fresh and -st-vu-et pi-sche-va-re-nyu, and also keeps the b-s-st-ven-nuyu bless-go-give. Would they be honored by the fact that they come to them and from-that-yes they pi-ro-ki.

One of the heavenly rivers is called Kausar. This is the same river that Allah gave to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):

“We have given you Kawthar” (Al-Qawthar, 1). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw this river and told us about it. In Sahih al-Bukhari, Anas bin Malik reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“I walked around Paradise and suddenly there was an eye near the river, on both banks of the -chu-zhin. I asked, "What is this, Jibril?" He said: “This is Kau-sar, someone your Lord gave you.” I found out that its aroma-mat or clay is a b-go-smelling musk. In my opinion, according to the words “aro-mat” and “clay-na”, you said a re-dat-chik named after Khud-ba.

Ibn 'Ab-bas is-tol-ko-val "kau-sar" as ve-li-something good, some-eye Al-lah bestowed on Him In-slan-ni-ka, bless him Allah welcomes. According to him, this is the interpretation of re-saying-zy-wal Sa‘id bin Ju-beir. When Abu Bishr said after a trace that some people think that this is a river in Paradise, he said: “Re- ka in Paradise is a part of that blessing, something-eye Allah gave him. ”

Ha-fiz Ibn Ka-sir collected ha-di-sy Po-slan-ni-ka, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in some descriptions of Kau-sar. One of them comes in the "Sa-hi-he" Mus-li-ma from the words of Ana-sa. It co-generates that after no-spos-la-niya aya-ta “We yes-ro-wa-li te-be Kau-sar” (Al-Kau-sar, 1 ), Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

] أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْكَوْثَرُ؟ فَقُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ: فَإِنَّهُ نَهْرٌ وَعَدَنِيهِ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، عَلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ كَثِيرٌ [

"Do you know what Kausar is?" We replied: "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said: “This is the river that the Mighty and Great Allah has promised me, and there is great good in it.”

Ahmad narrated in his Musnad the hadeeth of Anas that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“I was given Kausar. It is a river that flows through the earth, and along its banks are tents of pearls. She is not covered from above, and I touched her ground with my hand. It turned out that her earth was fragrant musk, and her rubble were pearls.

Another version, transmitted by Ahmad from the words of Anas, says:

] هُوَ نَهَرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، تُرَابُهُ الْمِسْكُ ، مَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضُ مِنْ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنْ الْعَسَلِ ، تَرِدُهُ طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا مِثْلُ أَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ [

“This is the river that Allah gave me in Paradise. Her land is musk, her water is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, and birds flock to her, whose necks are like the necks of camels.

Ibn Kathir cited many other hadiths on this subject, and those who wish to familiarize themselves with them can refer to his work.

Not all paradise rivers have water. There are rivers of water, milk, wine and pure honey. The Almighty said:

“Here is a description of Paradise promised to the God-fearing! In it flow rivers of water that does not stagnate, rivers of milk whose taste does not change, rivers of wine that gives pleasure to drinkers, and rivers of refined honey” (Muhammad, 15).

At-Tirmidhi in Sunan narrated through an authentic isnad the story of Mu'awiya bin Hayda (grandfather of Bahz bin Hakim) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

] إِنَّ فِـي الْجَنّـَةِ بَحْرَ الْعَسَلِ، وَبَحْرَ الْخَمْرِ، وَ وَبَحْرَ اللَّبَـنِ، و بَحْرَ الْمَـاءِ، ثُمَّ تُشَقَّقُ الأنْهَارُ بَعْدُ [

“Verily, in Paradise there is a sea of honey, a sea of wine, a sea of milk and a sea of water, and rivers spring from there.”

Thus, the rivers of Paradise originate from the seas, which were reported by the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He also told about the river Barik, which flows at the gates of Paradise. Near it are the fallen martyrs, waiting for the day of resurrection. Ahmad's Musnad, al-Tabarani's Mu'jam, and al-Hakim's Mustadraq cite Ibn 'Abbas' story that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] الشُّهَدَاءُ عَلَى بَارِقِ نَهَرٍ بِبَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فِي قُبَّةٍ خَضْرَاءَ ، يَخْرُجُ عَلَيْهِمْ رِزْقُهُمْ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا [

“The fallen martyrs are on the river Barik, which is at the gates of Paradise, in a green tent, and in the mornings and evenings they carry out their inheritance from Paradise.” His isnad is good.

Springs in Paradise

There are many springs in Paradise, and the water in them has a different taste:

“Verily, the God-fearing will dwell in the Gardens of Eden and among the springs” (Al-Hijr, 45);

“The God-fearing, verily, will abide among the vestibules and springs” (Al-Mursalat, 41). Describing the gardens prepared for those who feared their Lord, He said:

“In both of them flow two springs” (Ar-Rahman, 50). The description of the gardens below states:

“In both of them, two springs seethe” (Ar-Rahman, 66).

There are two source-to-no-ka, on-pi-tok from someone in a pure form they will drink only close-to-near-wife slaves, then how the rest of the b-go-ches-ti-ve-believers can-gut-drink it in a dilute form.

The first of these is the source of camphor. The Almighty said:

“And the pious will drink from the cup [wine] mixed with camphor. The servants of Allah will drink from the source, letting it flow in full-flowing streams ”(Al-Insan, 5-6). This means that pious people will drink a drink mixed with camphor, and the servants of Allah will be allowed to drink it in its pure form.

The second is the source of tasneem. The Almighty said:

“Verily, the pious will be in bliss! and they will contemplate [heavenly blessings] on the beds. ! On their faces you will see the gleam of prosperity. ! They will be given aged sealed wine to drink, ! and its seal will be musk (i.e., it is sealed with musk, or the last sip of it will taste like musk). Let the contestants compete for this! ! It is mixed with a drink from Tasneem - ! a source from which those who are close to drink” (Al-Mutaffifin, 22-28).

Salsabil is another of the heavenly sources. The Almighty said:

“They will drink there from bowls [wine] mixed with ginger from a spring called Salsabil” (Al-Insan, 17-18).

Palaces and tents in Paradise

Allah has built beautiful, magnificent dwellings for the inhabitants of Paradise. The Quran says:

“Allah promised believing men and women gardens of Eden in which rivers flow and in which they will remain forever, as well as beautiful dwellings in the gardens of Eden” (At-Tawba, 72). In some places of Scripture, these dwellings are called upper rooms:

“They will stay in the upper rooms, being safe” (Saba, 37). The description of the reward of the servants of the Merciful says:

“They will receive the Highest Place as a reward for being patient, and they will be greeted there with greetings and peace” (Al-Furqan, 75).

The chambers themselves are also described in the Koran:

“But for those who feared their Lord, upper chambers were prepared, one above the other, under which rivers flow. This is the promise of Allah, and Allah does not break the promise! (Az-Zumar, 20). Ibn Kathir wrote: “Mighty and Great Allah announced that in Paradise His happy slaves will receive upper rooms, i.e. high palaces. These are tall, mighty buildings, one above the other.

The messenger r described the heavenly palaces to us. Ahmad in Musnad and Ibn Hibban in Sahih narrated from the words of Abu Malik al-Ash‘ari, and at-Tirmidhi from the words of ‘Ali bin Abu Talib that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“Verily, in Paradise there are chambers, the appearance of which can be seen from the inside, and the interior decoration from the outside. Allah Almighty prepared them for those who spoke softly, fed the poor, fasted for a long time and prayed at night when people sleep.

Almighty and Almighty Allah said that there are tents in Paradise:

“They are black-eyed and big-eyed, kept in tents” (Ar-Rahman, 72). These tents are truly amazing. They're pearls, a single hollow pearl that rises sixty miles into the sky. Some versions say that it is also sixty miles wide. In Sahih al-Bukhari, the story of ‘Abdullah bin Qays is narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

] الْخَيْمَةُ دُرَّةٌ مُجَوَّفَةٌ ، طُولُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ثَلاثُونَ مِيلاً ، فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْهَا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَهْلٌ لا يَرَاهُمْ الآخَرُونَ [

“The tent is a hollow pearl, thirty miles high. In each of its corners are the wives of a believer, whom the rest do not see. Abu ‘Abd as-Samad and al-Harith narrated a version from the words of Abu ‘Imran that speaks of sixty miles.

In the version of Muslim, narrated from the words of ‘Abdullah bin Qays, it is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Verily, the believer in Paradise will have a tent of one hollow pearl, the height of which is sixty miles. The believer's wives will be in it, and he will visit them one by one, but they will not see each other."

One version of Muslim says:

] فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْمَةٌ مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ ، عَرْضُهَا سِتُّونَ مِيلاً ، فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْهَا أَهْلٌ مَا يَرَوْنَ الآخَرِينَ ، يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ الْمُؤْمِنُ [

“In Paradise there will be tents of a hollow pearl sixty miles wide. In each of its corners there will be wives, but they will not see the others, and the believer will visit them one by one.

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described for us the palaces that some of his wives and companions will receive. In the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, Abu Hurairah narrated that Jibril came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said:

“Messenger of Allah, Khadija came with a vessel containing food and seasoning. When she enters you, give her greetings from her Lord and from me. And please her with the news of a house of hollow pearls in Paradise, where there will be neither noise nor fatigue.

In the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, Jabir reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“When I entered Paradise, I met Rumeisa, the wife of Abu Talha. I heard someone's steps there and asked: "Who is it?" They answered me: "This is Bilal." I also saw a palace in the courtyard of which a girl was standing. I asked, “Whose [palace] is this?” They told me: "Umar bin al-Khattab." I wanted to go in to examine him, but I remembered that he was jealous." Then ‘Umar said: “Let my father and my mother be a ransom for you, Messenger of Allah. Am I going to be jealous of you?"

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) reported on how a believer can get more mansions in Paradise. For example, for the one who builds a mosque, Allah will build a house in Paradise. In the Musnad, Ahmad cited the story of Ibn ‘Abbas through a reliable isnad that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا وَلَوْ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ لِبَيْضِهَا ، بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ [

“Allah will build a house in Paradise for whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, even if it is like a nest that a partridge makes for its eggs.”

In the Musnad of Ahmad, the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, as well as the Sunan of at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Maji, there is a hadith of ‘Uthman that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

] مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا يَبْتَغِى بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ ، بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ مِثْلَهُ فِى الْجَنَّةِ [

“Whoever builds a mosque, striving for the Face of Allah, Allah will build the same house in Paradise.”

In the Sahih of Muslim, the Musnad of Ahmad and the Sunanah of Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i and Ibn Maji, Umm Habiba reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] مَنْ صَلَّى اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ، بُنِيَ لَهُ بِهِنَّ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ [

“Whoever performs twelve rak'ahs [voluntary prayer] during the day and night, Allah will build a house in Paradise for him.”

Light in Paradise

Al-Kurtubi wrote: “Scientists say that there will be neither day nor night in Paradise. They will live in perpetual light, but they will know when night has come by drawing down curtains and closing doors, and when day has come by lifting curtains and opening doors. Abu al-Faraj Ibn al-Jawzi reported this.

Ibn Kathir, commenting on the words of the Almighty

“For them there is prepared their lot in the morning and in the afternoon. Such is Paradise, which We will give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who were God-fearing” (Maryam, 62-63), said: “They will receive their inheritance at the hours corresponding to the morning and afternoon hours. This does not mean that there is day and night, but the intervals of time will follow each other, and they will recognize this by radiance and light.

Ibn Taymiyyah said on this occasion: “In Paradise there is no sun, no moon, no day, no night, and the onset of morning and evening hours will be recognized by the light that comes from the Throne.”

Fragrance of Paradise

The Gardens of Eden are filled with an amazing pure fragrance that spreads in all directions, and believers can smell it from a great distance. In Musnad by Ahmad, Sunanah by an-Nasai and Ibn Maji, Mustadrak by al-Hakim, the words of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are transmitted through a reliable isnad:

] مَنْ قَتَلَ رَجُلاً مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا [

“Whoever kills an unbeliever, who is guaranteed security, will not even feel the fragrance of Paradise, although it extends over a distance of seventy years.”

In the Sahih of al-Bukhari, the Musnad of Ahmad, as well as the Sunanah of an-Nasa'i and Ibn Maji, the story of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr is reported that the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا لَمْ يَرِحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا تُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا [

"A person who killed an unbeliever who made a pact with Muslims will not even feel the fragrance of Paradise, although it extends over a distance of forty years."

Trees and fruits in Paradise

1. Paradise trees and fruits are many, varied and eternal.

There are many beautiful trees in Paradise, and Allah told us that there are vineyards, palm and pomegranate trees, as well as lotuses, bananas, acacias:

“Verily, the place of salvation awaits the God-fearing, the Gardens of Eden and vineyards” (An-Naba, 31-32);

“They both have fruits, date palms, pomegranates” (Ar-Rahman, 68);

“And there will be those on the right side. Who will be on the right side? ! [They will abide] among thornless lotuses, ! under hanging bunches of bananas (or gum acacias),! in the open shadow, among the flooded waters! and many fruits" (Al-Waqi'a, 27-32). Lotus (wild jujube) is a tree with thorns, but in Paradise it has no thorns. The gum acacia grows in Hijaz, and it also has thorns, but in Paradise its branches hang down under the weight of clusters of fruits that can be easily obtained.

Only a few of the trees of paradise are listed in the Quran. Allah said:

“They both have a pair of all fruits” (Ar-Rahman, 52). But, despite their abundance, the inhabitants of Paradise will be able to ask for any fruit they wish.

“They will recline there, leaning back, and ask to bring them a lot of fruit and drink” (Garden, 51);

"... with the fruits they choose" (Al-Waqia, 20);

“The God-fearing, verily, will abide among the canopies and springs and fruits, whatever they wish” (Al-Mursalat, 41-42).

In a word, in Paradise there is every kind of fruit and pleasure that people can desire and that can bring them joy.

“They will be surrounded by dishes of gold and bowls. There will be that which the souls yearn for and the eyes delight in” (Az-Zuhruf, 71).

According to Ibn Kathir, the mention of lotus and acacia is an example of pointing to something big and numerous through something smaller and small. In this he sees a subtle hint of the greatness of paradise fruits: “In the earthly world, wild jujube bears fruit very weakly, and it has many thorns, and acacia generally benefits only as a source of shade. And if on such trees in Paradise there grow many beautiful fruits, each of which has seventy flavors and shades reminiscent of each other, what then can one think of the fruits of those trees that bear beautiful fruits in this world: apple trees, date palms, vineyards? What can you think of all sorts of fragrant herbs and flowers? In a word, there is something there that the eyes have not seen, that the ears have not heard, that the human soul has not even thought about, and we ask Allah to grant us this by His grace.

Paradise trees bear fruit continuously. They are not like the trees in this world that only bear fruit in a certain season. On the contrary, they are always strewn with fruit and always give shade:

“Here is a description of Paradise promised to the God-fearing. Rivers flow there, food does not dry up, and the shadow does not disappear” (Ar-Ra’d, 35);

“[Believers will be among] many-numbers of fruits, some of them do not end and are available” ( Al-Wa-ki'a, 33-34), i.e. they are not for-kan-chi-va-yut-sya, and no one interferes with the obi-ta-te-lyam of Paradise from enjoying them. The beauty of these fruits is that the obi-ta-te-whether of Paradise will be us-mat-ri-vat between them external similarity, although they will be from-li-chat-sya from each other to taste:

"Whenever they are given fruit to eat, they will say, 'This has already been given to us before.' But they will be given something similar” (Al-Baqara, 25).

The trees in Paradise have many long overgrown branches. The Quran says:

“For those who feared to stand before their Lord, two gardens have been prepared. Which of the favors of your Lord do you regard as a lie? They both have branches” (Ar-Rahman, 46-48). They will be dark green.

“And before those two there are two more gardens. Which of the favors of your Lord do you regard as a lie? They are both dark green” (Ar-Rahman, 62-64). The Garden of Eden is described in this way because the foliage of the trees there is so green that it appears dark, and because the trees themselves intertwine with each other.

Fruits on the trees of paradise sink low, as if they obey the inhabitants of the gardens, and they can easily and easily reach them. The Quran says:

“They will lie leaning on mats lined with brocade underneath, and the fresh fruits of these two gardens will bend low”

(Ar-Rahman, 54);

“The fruits will be completely subordinated to them” (Al-Insan, 14).

The shadow of the trees in Paradise will be as described by the Almighty:

“We will introduce them into a thick shadow” (An-Nisa, 57);

"... in the open shadow" (Al-Waqi'a, 30);

“The God-fearing, verily, will abide among the vestibules and springs”

(Al-Mursalat, 41).

2. Description of some trees in Paradise

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told amazing stories about some of the trees of paradise, about their large sizes, which for a long time amaze the imagination of those who try to imagine them. Here we will quote some of the hadiths of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on this subject.

1. The tree in the shade of which the horseman rides for a hundred years

This is a huge tree, the size of which can only be imagined by its Creator. Describing it, the Messenger r said that a rider galloping on a trotter can ride it in the shade for a hundred years. In both Sahihs, Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ الْجَوَادَ الْمُضَمَّرَ السَّرِيعَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ مَا يَقْطَعُهَا [

“Truly, in Paradise there is a tree that a rider galloping at full speed on a venerable lean stallion will not be able to pass even in a hundred years.”

In Sahih al-Bukhari, Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

] إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ ، وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ : وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍ

“Verily, there is a tree in Paradise, in the shade of which a rider can ride for a hundred years. If you wish, read: “…in the open shadow” (Al-Waqi‘a, 30)” .

Muslim narrated from Abu Hurairah and Sahl bin Sa'd that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

[ إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لا يَقْطَعُهَا]

“Verily, there is a tree in Paradise, in the shade of which a rider can ride for a hundred years without passing it.”

2. Ultimate Lotus

This tree is mentioned in the Koran, and near it our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw Jibril in the form in which he was created by Allah. This tree is located near the garden of refuge, and when the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw it, it was covered with something that only Allah knows for sure:

“He has already seen his other descent at the Lotus of the extreme limit, near which is the garden of refuge. Then the Lotus covered that which covered (i.e. the golden locust, or groups of angels, or the command of Allah). His gaze did not deviate to the side and did not overdo it ”(An-Najm, 13-16).

The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described this tree to us:

“Then they showed me the Lotus of the extreme limit. Its fruits are similar to Khajarian jugs, and its leaves are like elephant ears. [Jibril] said, "This is the Lotus of the ultimate." There were four rivers: two of them are obvious, and two are hidden. I asked, “Jibril, what are these rivers?” He replied: “The two hidden rivers are the rivers in Paradise, and the two open ones are the Nile and the Euphrates.” Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Both Sahihs also include the following hadeeth: “Then they took me on until we reached the Lotus of the ultimate. Its fruits are similar to Khajarian jugs, and its leaves are like elephant ears. One leaf of it can cover almost the entire community. It was covered with something multi-colored, which I did not make out. Then I entered Paradise, and there were tents of pearls, and its earth was of musk.

This is a huge tree from which clothes for the inhabitants of Paradise are obtained. Ahmad's Musnad, Ibn Jarir's Tafseer and Ibn Hibban's Sahih narrate Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri's account that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] طُوبَى شَجَرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَسِيرَةُ مِائَةِ عَامٍ ، ثِيَابُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَكْمَامِهَا [

“Tuba is a tree in Paradise, it stretches for a hundred years of travel, and garments for the inhabitants of Paradise come out of its cups.”

The fruits of Paradise open, and from there the clothes of the inhabitants of Paradise come out. This is indicated by the hadith narrated by Ahmad in Musnad from the words of ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr. It reports that a man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and asked: “Messenger of Allah, tell us about the clothes of the inhabitants of Paradise: will they be made ready-made or will they be sewn?” Some of the people laughed, but the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

"What are you laughing at? Over the fact that the person who does not know asks the one who knows? Then he lowered his head, and after a while he said: “Where is the one who asked the question?” The man replied, "I am here, Messenger of Allah." He said, "No, the fruits of Paradise will open and she will come out." He repeated this three times.

3. The best odorous plant in Paradise

Allah said that there are fragrant plants in Paradise:

“If he is one of those close, he will find peace, basil and the Garden of Bliss” (Al-Waqi‘a, 88-89). The Messenger r said that the best of the odorous plants in Paradise will be henna. At-Tabarani in Al-Mu'jam al-Kabir reported from the words of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"The best fragrant plant in Paradise is henna." Its isnad is authentic according to the requirements of al-Bukhari and Muslim.

4. Trunks of paradise trees made of gold

Among the amazing stories of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the hadith that the trunks of the trees of paradise are made of gold. In the "Sunans" of at-Tirmidhi and al-Bayhaqi, as well as in the "Sahih" of Ibn Hibban, it is cited through a reliable isnad hadith of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

] مَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةٌ إِلا سَاقُهَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ [

"The trunks of all the trees in Paradise are of gold".

5. How can a believer gain more trees in Paradise?

Beloved of the Merciful and the forefather of the prophets Ibrahim, peace be upon him, having met our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on the night when he was transferred to Al-Quds, asked him to convey greetings to the Muslims and tell us how we can acquire more trees in Paradise. At-Tirmidhi narrated, through a good isnad, the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

“The night I was transferred [from Mecca to Al-Quds], I met Ibrahim. He said: “O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your followers and inform them that the soil in Paradise is fragrant. The water in it is tasty and fresh, the earth is even and smooth, and its seedlings are the words ‘subhana-Llah’, ‘alhamduli-Llah’, ‘la ilaha illa-Llah’ and ‘Allahu akbar’” ” .

Animals and Birds in Paradise

There are so many animals and birds in Paradise that only Allah Almighty knows for sure about them. In descriptions of the bliss of the inhabitants of Paradise, it is emphasized that they will be treated to “the meat of the birds that they desire. [Their wives will be] black-eyed, big-eyed virgins ”(Al-Waqi‘a, 21-22).

In "Sunan" at-Tirmidhi, there is a hadith of Anas: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked about Kausar, and he said:" This is the river that Allah gave me. The water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and there are birds whose necks are like the necks of camels.” ‘Umar said: “How beautiful are these birds!” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Those who eat them are even more beautiful.”

Abu Nu'aim in Hilya al-awliyya and al-Hakim in Mustadrak reported from the words of Ibn Mas'ud: the ways of Allah." He said:

“You will receive seven hundred camels with reins in Paradise for her.” Al-Hakim declared the hadith to be authentic according to the requirements of al-Bukhari and Muslim, and al-Dhahabi agreed with him. Sheikh Nasir ad-Din al-Albani confirmed the validity of this assessment.

In the Sahih of Muslim, the hadith of Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari is cited: “A man brought a camel on which there was a leash and said: “I sacrifice her in the way of Allah.” Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

] لَكَ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَبْعُ مِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ كُلُّهَا مَخْطُومَةٌ [

“On the day of resurrection, you will receive seven hundred camels for her, and they will all be with reins.”

Sunan Ibn Maja (4332). We do not attribute these words to the Prophet r, since the isnad of the hadith is not perfect, although Ibn Hibban quoted it in his Sahih. However, its meaning is beautiful and is confirmed by other texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Sharia forbids Muslims to encroach on the lives of non-Muslims if they live in peace with Muslims and do not violate the terms of the treaties guaranteeing them the inviolability of life and property. The Qur'an says about this: “If any polytheist asks you for shelter, then give him shelter so that he can hear the Word of Allah. Then take him to a safe place” (At-Tauba, 6). From the hadith of ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr it follows that the murder of a non-Muslim who was guaranteed security upon entering a Muslim country is a grave sin, dooming a person to suffering in Hell. At first glance, such a sinner will never be forgiven and will not feel the fragrance of Paradise. However, this message should be combined with texts that say that sinners who profess monotheism will sooner or later earn the forgiveness of Allah and go to Paradise. See: Ash-Shaukani M. Neil al-autar. Damascus: Dar al-Khair, 1418/1998. T. 4. S. 17. - Approx. translator.

Al-Albani reported that Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi also transmitted him. See: Sahih al-jami' as-saghir (2861).

Sahih al-jami‘ as-saghir (5/150). Ibn Kathir in the book "Al-bidaya wa-n-nihaya" (2/254) reported that it was transmitted by at-Tirmidhi and called it good, reliable.

God created man differently from other creatures. Before his creation, God, in the Most Holy Trinity, confirmed His desire, He said: “Let us make man in Our image [and] in Our likeness.”

And God created man from the dust of the earth, that is, from the substance from which the entire material, earthly world was created, and breathed into his face the breath of life, that is, gave him a free, rational, living and immortal spirit, in His image and likeness; and became a man with an immortal soul. This "breath of God" or immortal soul distinguishes man from all other living creatures.

Thus, we belong to two worlds: with the body - to the visible, material, earthly world, and with the soul - to the invisible, spiritual, heavenly world. At the moment of death, the soul is separated from the body, and the body ceases to live, to suffer. And the soul continues to live in the invisible world. And God gave the first man the name Adam, which means "taken from the earth." For him, God grew paradise on earth, that is, a beautiful garden, and placed Adam in it, so that he cultivated and kept it. The earthly paradise or beautiful garden in which God settled the first people, Adam and Eve, was located in Asia, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

All kinds of trees with beautiful fruits grew in paradise, among which were two special trees: one was called the tree of life, and the other was called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eating the fruit of the tree of life had the power to protect a person from sickness and death. About the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God gave Adam the commandment: “From every tree in Paradise you can eat, but do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because if you eat from it, you will die.”

All the animals in paradise obeyed man and served him. By the command of God, Adam gave names to all the beasts and birds of the air, but did not find among them a friend and helper like himself. Then God brought Adam into a deep sleep; and when he fell asleep, he took one of his ribs and covered the place with flesh. And God created a wife out of a rib taken from a man. Adam called her Eve, which means "life", for she became the mother of all people.

God blessed the first people in paradise and told them: "Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it." Having created a wife from the rib of the first man, God pointed out that all people come from the same body and soul, must be one - love and protect each other. The life of people in paradise was filled with joy and bliss. Their conscience was calm, their heart was pure, their mind was bright. They were not afraid of disease or death, they did not need clothing. In everything they had prosperity and contentment. Their food was the fruit of the trees of paradise.

God created people, as well as angels, so that they love God and each other and enjoy the great joy of life in the love of God. Therefore, just like the Angels, He gave them complete freedom: to love Him or not to love. Without freedom there can be no love. Love, among other things, is manifested in the joyful fulfillment of the desires of the one you love.

But since people, like the Angels, have not yet established themselves in goodness so as not to sin, the Lord did not allow them to immediately and forever make their choice: to accept or reject His love, as was the case with the Angels. God began to teach people love. For this, He gave people this small, not difficult commandment - not to eat fruits from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Fulfilling this command, or desire of God, they could thus show their love for Him. Gradually, moving from easy to more complex, they would be strengthened in love and perfected in it. Adam and Eve obeyed God with love and joy. And there was in paradise in everything the will of God and God's order.

But the devil envied the heavenly bliss of the first people and planned to deprive them of their heavenly life. To do this, he entered the snake and hid in the branches of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And when Eve was passing near him, the devil began to inspire her to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. Turning to Eve, he cunningly asked: “Is it true, God said: do not eat from any tree in paradise?”

Eve answered the serpent: "We can eat the fruits of the trees, only the fruits of the tree that is in the middle of paradise, God said, do not eat them and do not touch them, lest you die." But the devil began to lie in order to tempt Eve: “No, you will not die, but God knows that on the day you eat them, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil.”

The seductive devilish speech of the serpent had an effect on Eve. She looked at the tree and saw that the tree is pleasing to the eye, good for food, and gives knowledge; and she wanted to know good and evil. She plucked fruit from the forbidden tree and ate it, then gave it to her husband and he ate.

People, succumbing to the temptation of the devil, violated the commandment or the will of God - they sinned, fell into sin. Thus the fall of man took place. By refusing to repentance offered to them by the merciful Lord, our forefathers incurred the full burden of the grave consequences of their crime.

In such a fallen state, our first parents were no longer able to stay in paradise and were expelled by God from there. At the entrance to the Garden of Eden, the Lord placed a guard - a cherub with a fiery sword, in order to prevent any more evil from penetrating there.

This first sin of Adam and Eve, or the fall of people, is called original sin, since it was this sin that was the beginning for all subsequent sins in people. Its consequence was spiritual death and bodily death. Spiritual death consisted in the separation of the soul from God, the source of eternal life, in the openness of the soul to demonic influences, and in the captivity by sin of the main forces of the soul: mind, will and feelings. Bodily death consisted in breaking the integrity of human nature, in its perishability, which led to the separation of soul and body. Spiritual death struck Adam and Eve immediately after eating the forbidden fruit. And bodily death, as a consequence of spiritual death, overtook them after the time allotted by God. This state of infection with sin and death began to be transmitted to all the descendants of Adam and Eve like a hereditary disease.

The disease of sin turned out to be so strong that it was impossible to heal it by human forces. This required special divine intervention. And the Lord, driving our forefathers out of paradise, promised them that in due time among their descendants the Savior of the world would be born, who would “smite the serpent in the head” - conquer the devil, sin and death.

  • The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told amazing stories about some of the trees of paradise, about their large sizes, which for a long time amaze the imagination of those who try to imagine them.

    "Truly, in Paradise there is a tree that a rider galloping at full speed on a venerable lean stallion will not be able to pass even in a hundred years."

If you wish, read: “…in the open shadow” (Al-Waqi‘a, 30).”

    Muslim narrated from Abu Hurairah and Sahl bin Sa'd that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

    [إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لا يَقْطَعُهَا]

[Jibril] said: "This is the Lotus of the utmost limit." There were four rivers: two of them are obvious, and two are hidden.

    ] مِمَّ تَضْحَكُونَ مِنْ جَاهِلٍ يَسْأَلُ عَالِماً؟[. ثُمَّ أَكَبَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- ثُمَّ قَالَ : ] أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ [. قَالَ : هُوَ ذَا أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. قَالَ : ] لاَ بَلْ تُشَقَّقُ عَنْهَا ثَمَرُ الْجَنَّةِ [ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ.

    There are many beautiful trees in paradise, and Allah told us that there are vineyards, palm and pomegranate trees, as well as lotuses, bananas, acacias: “Verily, a place of salvation awaits the God-fearing, gardens and vineyards” (Sura 78 "News", verses 31-32) ;

    "They both have fruits, date palms, pomegranates" (Sura 55 "Merciful", verse 68) ;

    “And there will be those on the right side. Who will be on the right side? [They will abide] among lotuses devoid of thorns, under hanging bunches of bananas (or gum acacias), in open shade, among spilled waters and numerous fruits. (Sura 56 "Happened", verses 27-32).

    Lotus (wild jujube) is a tree with thorns, but in paradise it has no thorns. The gum acacia grows in the Hijaz, and it also has thorns, but in paradise, its branches hang down under the weight of clusters of fruits that can be easily obtained.

    Only a few of the trees of paradise are listed in the Quran. Allah said: “They both have a pair of all the fruits.” (Sura 55 "The Merciful", verse 52). But, despite their abundance, the inhabitants of paradise will be able to ask for any fruit they wish: "They will reclining there, leaning back, and ask to bring them a lot of fruit and drink" (Sura 38 "Garden", verse 51) ;

    "...with the fruits they choose" (Sura 56 "Happened", verse 20) ;

    “The God-fearing, verily, will abide in the midst of the canopy and springs and fruits, whatever they desire” (Sura 77 "Sent", verses 41-42).

    In a word, in paradise there are any fruits and pleasures that people can desire and that can bring them joy: “They will be surrounded by dishes of gold and bowls. There will be what souls yearn for and what delights the eyes.” (Sura 43 "Ornaments", verse 71).

    According to Ibn Kathir, the mention of the lotus and the acacia is an example of pointing to something big and numerous through something smaller and small. In this he sees a subtle hint of the greatness of heavenly fruits: “In the earthly world, wild jujube bears fruit very weakly, and it has many thorns, and acacia generally benefits only as a source of shade. And if on such trees in paradise there grow many beautiful fruits, each of which has seventy flavors and shades resembling each other, what then can be thought of the fruits of those trees that bear beautiful fruits in this world: apple trees, date palms, vineyards? What can you think of all sorts of fragrant herbs and flowers? In a word, there is something there that the eyes have not seen, that the ears have not heard, that the human soul has not even thought about, and we ask Allah to grant us this by His mercy ”(Ibn Kathir. Bidaya. T. 2. S. 262) .

    Paradise trees bear fruit continuously. They are not like the trees in this world that bear fruit only in a certain season. On the contrary, they are always strewn with fruit and always give shade: “Here is a description of the paradise promised to the God-fearing. Rivers flow there, food does not dry up, and the shadow does not disappear. (Sura 13 "Thunder", verse 35) ;

    "[The believers will abide among] numerous fruits that do not end and are not forbidden" (Sura 56 "Happened", verses 33-34), i.e. they do not end, and no one prevents the inhabitants of paradise from enjoying them. The beauty of these fruits is that the inhabitants of Paradise will see an outward resemblance between them, although they will differ from each other in taste: “Whenever they are given fruits for food, they will say:“ This has already been given to us before. . But they will be given something similar.” (Sura 2 "Cow", verse 25).

    The trees in paradise have many long overgrown branches. The Qur'an says: “For those who feared to stand before their Lord, two gardens have been prepared. Which of the favors of your Lord do you regard as a lie? They both have branches." (Sura 55 "The Merciful", verses 46-48). They will be dark green: “And in front of those two there are two more gardens. Which of the favors of your Lord do you regard as a lie? They are both dark green." (Sura 55 "The Merciful", verses 62-64).

    The Gardens of Eden are described in this way because the foliage of the trees there is so green that it appears dark, and because the trees themselves are intertwined with each other.

    Fruits on the trees of paradise sink low, as if they obey the inhabitants of the gardens, and they can easily and easily reach them. The Qur'an says: "They will lie leaning on mats lined with brocade underneath, and the fresh fruits of these two gardens will bow low." (Sura 55 "Merciful", verse 54) ;

    "The fruits will be completely subordinated to them" (Sura 76 "Man", verse 14).

    The shadow of the trees in paradise will be as described by the Almighty: “We will introduce them into a dense shade” (Sura 4 "Women", verse 57) ;

    “The God-fearing, verily, will abide among the vestibules and springs” (Surah 77 "Sent", verse 41).

    Description of some trees in paradise

    The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, told amazing stories about some of the trees of paradise, about their large sizes, which for a long time amaze the imagination of those who try to imagine them. Here we will cite some of the hadiths of the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on this subject.

    1. The tree in the shade of which the horseman rides for a hundred years

    This is a huge tree, the size of which can only be imagined by its Creator. Describing it, the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said that a rider galloping on a trotter can ride it in the shade for a hundred years. In both "Sahihs" there is a hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri that the prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Verily, in paradise there is a tree that a rider galloping at full speed on a venerable lean stallion will not succeed pass even in a hundred years.

    In Sahih al-Bukhari, Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Indeed, there is a tree in Paradise, in the shade of which a rider can ride for a hundred years. If you want, read: "...in the open shadow" (Sura 56 "Happened", verse 30) ».

    Muslim narrated from the words of Abu Hurayrah and Sahl ibn Sa'd that the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, in Paradise there is a tree in the shade of which a rider can ride for a hundred years without passing it."

    2. Ultimate Lotus

    This tree is mentioned in the Koran, and near it, our prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saw Jibril in the form in which he was created by Allah. This tree is located near the garden of refuge, and when the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saw it, it was covered with something that only Allah knows for sure: “He already saw his other descent at the lotus of the extreme limit, near which there is a garden shelter. The lotus was covered by whatever covered it. His gaze did not deviate to the side and did not overdo it. (Sura 53 "The Star", verses 13-17).

    The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, described this tree to us: “Then they showed me the lotus of the extreme limit.

    Both Sahihs also include the following hadeeth: “Then I was led on until we reached the lotus of the extreme limit. Its fruits are similar to Khajarian jugs, and its leaves are like elephant ears. One leaf of it can cover almost the entire community. It was covered with something multi-colored, which I did not make out. Then I entered paradise, and there were tents of pearls, and its earth was of musk.”

    3. Tuba

    This is a huge tree from which clothes are obtained for the inhabitants of paradise. Ahmad's Musnad, Ibn Jarir's Tafsir, and Ibn Hibban's Sahih narrate Abu Sa'id al-Khudri's story that the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Tuba is a tree in paradise, it extends a hundred years of travel, and out of its cups come garments for the inhabitants of paradise.”

    The fruits of Paradise open, and from there the garments of the inhabitants of Paradise come out. This is indicated by the hadith narrated by Ahmad in Musnad from the words of ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Amr. It reports that a man came to the prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and asked: “Messenger of Allah, tell us about the clothes of the inhabitants of paradise: will they be created ready-made or will they be sewn?” Some of the people laughed, but the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “What are you laughing at? Over the fact that the person who does not know asks the one who knows? Then he lowered his head, and after a while he said: “Where is the one who asked the question?” The man replied, “I am here, Messenger of Allah.” He said, "No, the fruits of Paradise will open and she will come out." He repeated this three times.

    The best scented plant in paradise

    Allah said that there are fragrant plants in paradise: “If he is one of the close ones, he will find peace, basil and a garden of bliss” (Sura 56 "Happened", verses 88-89). The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said that the best of the odorous plants in paradise would be henna. At-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-kabir reported from the words of 'Abdallah ibn 'Amr that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The best of the odorous plants in paradise is henna." Its isnad is authentic according to the requirements of al-Bukhari and Muslim.

    Trunks of paradise trees made of gold

    Among the amazing stories of the messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is a hadith that the trunks of paradise trees are made of gold. In the "Sunans" of at-Tirmidhi and al-Bayhaqi, as well as in the "Sahih" of Ibn Hibban, it is cited through a reliable isnad hadith of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The trunks of all trees in Paradise are made of gold."

    How can a believer gain more trees in paradise?

    The beloved of the Merciful and the forefather of the prophets Ibrahim, having met our prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the night when he was transferred to Al-Quds, asked him to convey greetings to the Muslims and tell us how we can get more trees in paradise. At-Tirmidhi narrated, through a good isnad, the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “On the night when I was transferred [from Mecca to Al-Quds], I met Ibrahim. He said: “O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your followers and inform them that the soil in Paradise is fragrant. The water in it is tasty and fresh, the earth is even and smooth, and its seedlings are the words subhana-Llah, al-hamdu li-llah, la ilaha illa-llah and Allahu akbar.

    And the Lord God planted a paradise in Eden in the east, and placed there the man whom he had created(Gen 2:8).

    Having created man as the crown of creation, the Lord arranged for him a special place on earth — Paradise(garden) in Eden which was in the east. Modern researchers determine the place of the earthly paradise in the southern part of the Mesopotamian plain, between Babylon in the north and the Persian Gulf in the south. This place can be called the cradle of mankind.

    The Lord God, having settled a man in paradise, commanded him cultivate and store Garden of Eden.

    The Lord allowed Adam and Eve to eat fruits from all the trees in the Garden of Eden. Only from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil did God forbid eating. The tree was real, not symbolic. St. John Chrysostom explains the meaning of the name in this way: “Divine Scripture called this tree the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because a crime or observance of a commandment was to be committed with it” (Conversations on the book of Genesis. XVI. 6).

    The Bible tells that the serpent, which the devil chose as an instrument to tempt the forefathers, began to persuade the forefathers to violate the commandment given by God: Did God truly say: Do not eat from any tree in Paradise?(Gen 3:1). Eve confirmed that God forbade them to eat these fruits and warned: don't eat or touch them lest you die(Genesis 3, 3). In response to this, the devil speaks a lie, which achieved its goal, because it aroused pride in Eve's soul: no you won't die<...>on the day you eat them, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil.(Genesis 3:4-5). Believing the tempter and seduced by the attractive appearance of the forbidden tree, Eve ate the fruit and gave it to her husband. And he ate. Adam's guilt was heavier because he directly received this commandment from God even before the creation of Eve. He aggravated the guilt by trying to justify himself and put the blame on Eve: the wife that You gave me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate(Gen 3:12).

    The Holy Fathers say that the fall into sin was due to envy devil. However, the Creator gave man free will. Therefore, the main blame falls on our forefathers.

    At creation man was pure and innocent. Thanks to this moral dispensation, he was in direct communion with God. Due to the initial harmony in the relationship of the ancestors with their Creator, there was no need for religion. However, by transgressing the test commandment, man violated the first covenant established by God in paradise. The crime of the ancestors had a profound impact on human nature, which determined the entire subsequent life of mankind, because the man created by God wished consciously and freely, instead of the will of God, to establish his own will as the main principle of life. The attempt of created nature to establish itself in its own autonomy grossly perverted the Divine creative plan and led to the violation of the order established by God. The inevitable logical consequence of this was the falling away from the Source of life. Being outside of God for the human spirit is death in the direct and exact meaning of this word. St. Gregory of Nyssa writes that he who is outside of God inevitably remains outside of light, outside of life, outside of incorruption, for all this is concentrated only in God. Moving away from the Creator, a person becomes the property of darkness, corruption and death. According to the same saint, it is impossible for anyone to exist without being in Existing.

    The fall of our forefathers violated the primordial harmony of the existence of the world. Thorns and thistles began to grow from the earth instead of the former fertile fruiting. Not only Adam, but all subsequent generations had to get food by the sweat of their faces.
