You have probably already noticed that lately I have been paying attention to the composition and benefits of products. I think this is a very important topic for all humanity. In the near future, I plan to open a section about what and how to eat in the modern world, how to choose the right products, how to cook and what to use.

For example, did you know that you can’t eat a pear on an empty stomach? The fact is that it contains a lot of fiber, which irritates the mucous membrane and increases peristalsis. Elderly people are also recommended to eat baked pears. Edible varieties of pears were developed only a few centuries ago; before that, people ate them boiled! In their raw form, these fruits were impossible to eat. Now, thank God, the garden pear delights us with its taste and beneficial properties.

How is a pear useful? Pears contain more fructose than sucrose, which means they can be eaten by diabetics. Pears contain potassium, which means they are useful for those who have heart problems. Fresh pears contain essential vitamins E, P, A, C, B1, B2, PP, while dried pears contain large amounts of folic acid, carotene, pectin, catechin, mineral salts of iron, copper, manganese, potassium, iodine, calcium. Consequently, dried pear compotes help with colds and coughs in winter. In the East, the leaves of pear trees are dried. They contain a natural antibiotic that helps defeat mycoses and dermatitis. And if you prepare the “Pear with Honey” dessert, you will certainly increase your hemoglobin. This is very useful, especially for children and expectant mothers.

Well, now let's get back to preparing our pear dessert

Ingredients for 2 servings:

Cream:
Cottage cheese 400 g
Sugar 3 tbsp. spoons
Sour cream 3 tbsp. spoons
Lemon 1 slice

Interlayers:
Pear 2 pcs
Sugar 3 tbsp. spoons
Cinnamon
Dry red or white wine 50 ml
Corn flakes honey 70 g
Chocolate “Air” floor tile (you can, of course, use other chocolate, but this one melts better).
Milk 20 g
Walnuts for sprinkling

Inventory:
Pastry bag or thick bag.

Making dessert from pears and cottage cheese

First, melt the chocolate. There are 2 ways. First: heat in a water bath, second: add a little milk to the bottom, then “evaporate” it over low heat, stirring constantly.

Melt the chocolate and cool slightly.

Pour corn flakes into the chocolate, mix well, place on a plate, separating them, and put them in the refrigerator.

Peel the pears, cut into small cubes, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and wine. Place on low heat to simmer. Cooking time depends on the ripeness of the pears. They should turn out soft, but in no case “porridge”. Finally add cinnamon (about 1/3 teaspoon).

In the meantime, prepare a tender curd mass. Mix cottage cheese, sour cream and sugar, puree in a blender, add lemon juice, and mix everything again. The consistency should be uniform, like a thick cream. You may need more sour cream, it all depends on the fat content of the cottage cheese. The mass should not turn out to be cloyingly sweet; there should be enough sugar.

Decorating dessert with pears and cottage cheese

Let's start laying out our dessert. It will look beautiful in any wide glass container - bowls or glasses. Place the curd mixture in a pastry bag and begin layering.

TIP: try not to create voids between the glass and the layers; first place the filling close to the glass, and then in the middle. The order of laying out the layered pear dessert: curd mass on the bottom, pears in wine, chocolate flakes. Then again the curd mass, pears in wine, cereal in chocolate.
