Welding fixtures

Devices for welding, in addition to the elements of fixing and fixing the assembly, have special additional devices for welding by one method or another (welding pads and their fastening, drives, etc.).

Usually, in a welding fixture, the assembly is installed in the assembled and tacked state, so it must provide the ability to fix the assembly in the position required for welding a particular joint, minimal deformation, and the possibility of free removal of the finished assembly.

In welding practice, the use of combined assembly and welding fixtures is very common, allowing both assembly and welding in the same fixture, bypassing the tacking operation.

According to the types of products (design, dimensions, weight), welding method and requirements, a number of main types of combined welding and assembly-welding devices can be distinguished.

Welding stands are stationary fixtures with one fixed (most often horizontal) base surface with fasteners. Usually, on such stands, longitudinal seams are welded by automatic fusion welding on flat products or on various types of shells, etc. Welding is carried out mainly on linings; the edges are pressed against the lining in various ways: mechanical, pneumatic, magnetic, etc.

Rice. 1. Pneumatic staple for welding longitudinal seams: 1 - stand, 2 - upper clamp, 3 - welding lining, 4 - tightening bracket, 5 - pneumatic cylinders, 6 - console

On fig. 1 shows a diagram of a cantilever stand with a pneumo-pressure of the lining for welding the longitudinal seams of the shells. An I-beam with pneumatic cylinders mounted on it for pressing the welding backing is cantilevered on the stand. The shell to be welded is put on the console and pressed against the upper massive fixed clamps.

The upper clamps with the cantilever beam are fastened with a tightening bracket. After welding, the bracket is discarded, the welding lining is lowered to the lower position and the shell is removed. The console with a welding pad and pneumatic clamping can be rotated around a vertical axis at the central post.

On fig. Figure 2 shows a diagram of a welding bench with upper pneumatic hose clamps of a keyboard type for welding longitudinal seams on sheets and shells made of materials of small thickness. For welding products from a thicker material, the keys can be pressed not with a pneumatic hose device, but with pneumatic chambers.

Tilters are a fairly common type of fixture. Usually these are stationary fixtures that allow you to fix the workpiece to be welded and turn it into the desired position for welding. Such devices are most often used for welding bulky products that have a wide variety of shapes, in which the seams are located on opposite sides.

Rice. 3. Scheme of the trunnion tilter

In the production of aircraft, such devices are used for welding various power units such as beams, spars, etc.

Rotation of the product in the device can be manual or mechanical. The most commonly used trunnion type tilters. The assembled and tacked product is fixed in special clamps, each of which is mounted on a pivot pin. The trunnion supports can be connected by a common base or be independent of each other.

Devices for ring welding allow you to set the product in a fixed position and rotate it during the welding process at the required speed.

Depending on the dimensions of the product, devices of this type are most often performed using end rotators, roller bearings, or combined.

For products of small and medium dimensions, devices with end rotators are usually used, made in the form of two support trunnion rotators, of which one, or less often both, are driven.

The working part of the rotator (faceplate) is made removable or specialized for a given node or group of nodes. Special fixing and fastening devices are installed on the rotator. The drive is more often carried out from an electric motor through a gearbox with adjustable rotation speed during welding. The basis of adaptation - welded from profile hire; all elements (headstock, engine, drive, etc.) are bolted to the base in their seats.

Rice. 4. Schemes of devices for welding circumferential seams

For large-sized products of a conical type, products with low longitudinal rigidity or high weight, devices are used that combine end rotators and roller bearings.

Roller bearings are made, as a rule, adjustable in height or floating type.

Rotary devices also include devices for welding circular seams on a horizontal or inclined plane. Usually they are made in the form of an end rotator with a vertical or inclined axis of rotation.

Manipulators - devices designed to rotate the product around a vertical or horizontal axis and tilt it at a certain angle necessary for work.

Such devices are used for manual, semi-automatic and automatic fusion welding and resistance welding.

Products of various shapes can be fixed on the manipulator. Depending on the load capacity, the manipulator table is rotated manually, mechanically or pneumatically.

Devices with copiers are used to perform automatic fusion welding of products with curved seams. Depending on the shape of the seam, the type of product and the welding method, devices are used to move the welding head along the copier, move the part along the copier with a fixed head, move both the part and the head along the copier; in this case, most often the welding head is mounted on a floating suspension. When using devices of the latter type, with a complex movement, the welding speed can change during operation, which affects the formation of the seam, therefore, when developing such a device, it is necessary to analyze the speeds at various points of the welded contour. Deviations from the welding speed should not be more than 4-5% of the calculated one.

On fig. 5 shows a diagram of a device for welding flanges, necks, branch pipes to cylindrical shells. In this case, the welding head moves along the copier on the support rollers. Rotating, the rollers run around the surface of the copier and raise or lower the bar with the welding head suspended on it.

When welding a longitudinal seam of a curved contour, a copier made in the shape of a joint is fixed on the product itself (Fig. 109). The product is fixed in the fixture on pivot pins. With the longitudinal movement of the welding trolley, the product turns through the rod and the copier to the position specified by the copier.

Equipment for automatic fusion welding methods is a special welding installation, including, in addition to elements for fixing and manipulating the product, devices for fastening, moving welding equipment (welding head, tractor, etc.) and controlling it. The design of these devices is determined by the type of product, the number and nature of welds, etc.

The most common devices are portal type, cantilever type, devices with offset guides, with the installation of welding equipment on the clamping elements of the device itself, etc.

Rice. 4. Welding manipulators: a - for fusion welding, b - for contact welding

The fastening devices can be made separately from the device or be structurally associated with it. Usually, for relatively small products, they are made in the form of a single structure, for large-sized products, they are made separate. Devices for fastening equipment can be movable and fixed, with a rigid fastening of the welding head or with its movement along the fastening device. Usually such devices are made welded from rolled steel of the usual range or pipes. The main requirement for them is to provide the necessary rigidity and strength in operation and the possibility of convenient manipulation of the product and welding equipment within the required limits.

In resistance spot and roller welding, specialized fixtures are mainly used to set up, support when moving, and align the product during the welding process.

For welding circumferential seams, depending on the dimensions of the product, supporting devices are used in the form of a support post with a roller, an end rotator or roller bearings. The installation of the support elements must be adjusted in height.

Support devices for spot welding are often equipped with special stepper drives for automatic welding.

moving the product by a step of points. At the same time, it is necessary that, when moving, the product does not touch the inner surface of the lower electrode of the welding machine. To do this, for example, when welding thin-sheet large-sized parts, a gap of 1–3 mm is established between them and the lower electrode in a free state.

When welding rigid assemblies for this purpose, it is necessary to provide special damping devices that provide the necessary clearance at the time of movement of the part.

For smaller products, the support device is often attached directly to the welding machine.

On fig. 9 shows a diagram of the fixture for assembly and tack fastened with a clamp 2 on the lower console of the welding machine. The assembly to be welded is fixed in the fixture and can be rotated around its axis in the support disc bearing. In turn, the support disc is attached to the machine using a spring-lever suspension.

For welding large-sized products of a flat shape or with a slight curvature (such as panels), supporting devices are made in the form of hangers or supports such as roller tables.

For spot welding in recent years, specialized installations with automatic and semi-automatic work cycles have begun to be used in industry.

or double curvature. On this setting, it is possible to automatically align the surface of the panel to be welded normally with respect to the axis of the electrodes. The fixture is made in two versions: with mechanical movement of the panel per welding step (the command is given by the operator) and automatic. For the convenience of observing the place of welding, the installation is equipped with television equipment.

On fig. 13 shows an installation for spot welding of half-ribs of wing compartment panels. For welding, special tongs are used, which are included in the internal spaces of the compartment. The movement of the tongs per welding step is set by a special stepping drive mechanism, with the help of which the movable carriage, together with the tongs installed on it, moves along the guides of the welding machine bed.

Rice. 12. Automated installation for spot welding of half-ribs of wing panels 1 - panel, 2 - knife switch, 3 - movable table, 4 - welding tongs, 5 - welding machine, 6 - table guides

Movement of the tongs along the seam, welding, reversal of the tongs and movement of the movable table after the completion of welding of the next seam are carried out automatically according to a special program. After the welding of each rib is completed, the electrodes are cleaned and the tongs return to their original position.

In roller welding, devices similar to those disassembled are mainly used. However, due to the fact that during roller welding the parts are moved by the welding machine itself and without lifting the electrodes, it is not necessary to provide special mechanisms for forced movement and damping in the fixtures, and they. generally simpler than spot welding fixtures.

In roller welding of circumferential or circular seams, devices in the form of various height-adjustable racks with a support roller are most often used. Devices of this kind are distinguished by their versatility and simplicity. In some cases, the roller support can be replaced by a movable carriage with support rollers. In this case, the front pair of rollers is installed slightly lower than the rear. During welding, the assembly rests on the welding roller and the rear pair of supporting rollers of the trolley.

Rice. 13. Support device for roller welding of circumferential seams of shells

Rice. 14. Suspension type device for roller welding of cones

When welding some structures, suspension-type devices are found. On fig. 14 shows the roller welding of a cone using a hanging fixture, where the top of the cone is hinged to a height-adjustable support.

When welding shells of large diameter (more than 1.5 - 2 m), sometimes it is necessary to lift the welding machine or make a recess below the floor level in order to approach the welding rollers to the joints. In this case, sometimes it is more convenient to weld in the lower part of the shell, placing it above the welding electrodes.

In roller welding of seams on a shell of small diameter (smaller than the diameter of the lower console and machine roller), devices with an internal current-carrying mandrel are used. The mandrel is inserted into the shell and together with it is rolled between the welding rollers.

For welding flat seams on products such as panels, as in spot welding, devices in the form of roller tables or a carriage with a product mounted on it moving along guides are used.

You can get a high-quality welded joint by using special devices for welding. Experienced welders are well aware of the importance of correctly and securely fixing the parts to be joined. With a wide range, it is difficult to choose a design option that will provide reliable fixation. That is why it is recommended to pay attention to the classification and features of all mechanisms.

Assembly and welding fixtures of profile pipes and their types

Common welding fixtures are created in order to provide the most favorable working conditions, thereby increasing the quality of the resulting seam. All of them are divided into several types:

  1. Installation.
  2. Mounting.

Similar mechanisms for installing and fastening profile pipes can be made from a wide variety of materials. It is recommended to pay more attention to the choice of welding fixtures, as they largely determine the quality of the result.

Installation mechanisms

Special welding fixtures are required in order to set the correct location in space for the elements to be welded. The most widespread are:

  1. corners.
  2. Stops.
  3. Prisms.
  4. Templates.

Thrust devices are designed to fix the workpiece on the main surface. Most are used permanently, since the weld only provides a high degree of sealing. In addition, there are also folding versions that can be dismantled if necessary.

To create universal welding fixtures, you may need:

  1. Nuts that are designed for the possible load.
  2. Sheets of metal about 10 mm thick.
  3. Large diameter washer.
  4. A tube-rolled blank with an external thread that fits the matched nut.

It should be borne in mind that when using ordinary metal, corrosion will appear on the surface over time. That is why it is necessary to provide for the features of the coating process of steel with a special anti-corrosion composition.

DIY manufacturing process

You can create the required design using improvised tools. Among the features of the work carried out, we note the following points:

  1. Rectangles 4 cm wide of various lengths are cut from the purchased sheets. After that, two rectangular plates are prepared. The first elements are used to create the main body part, the others to fix the moving part. The metal is pre-cleaned of rust and other contaminants.
  2. A special auxiliary element is welded to the main clamp, made of metal plates and corners.
  3. Another sheet of steel is welded to the smaller side. Washers of the selected diameter are welded into one blank.
  4. Nuts must be laid on edge. Due to this, the movable rod is parallel to the clamp.

The weld must be on the outside. This design allows you to fix the connected elements and ensure their immobility during welding.

Home-made devices for welding are practically in no way inferior to purchased versions. Before proceeding with the assembly of the clamping or locking mechanism, it is necessary to take into account how it will be used and what properties it should have.

Homemade magnetic device

Increasingly, at home, a device for pipe welding is being assembled, which works on magnets. The manufacturing process is characterized by the following features:

  1. The main material is a plate with a length of 25 cm on each side.
  2. You will need pipes with a cross section in the form of a square, the ribs of which provide higher rigidity.
  3. The design features of the mechanism include the presence of three small bolts and nuts.
  4. Steel cylinder with a diameter of 4.5 mm.

Assembly can be carried out in the presence of a welding machine and a drill with interchangeable drill bits for metal. The structure is created as follows:

  1. On both sides of the square plate, pipes are welded, the length of which is 15 and 20 cm.
  2. The next step involves the creation of two auxiliary parts: one U-shaped, the second has the shape of a trapezoid with the same sides.

Such performance options are extremely common due to versatility, home-made mechanisms are designed for high loads.

Universal versions of fixators with magnets are very convenient to use. That is why they are widely used, used by masters of various levels.

The classic device is characterized by the following features:

  1. The mechanism is represented by a combination of two plates that have built-in magnets. They take the main load, are designed for the impact of a wide variety of pressures.
  2. The position of the two planes can be changed to adjust the angle, which is selected according to the shape of the connected products.
  3. The design also has two additional planes, which significantly increase the accuracy of mating two surfaces relative to each other.

Due to the use of a universal mechanism, several products can be welded together accurately and quickly. The strength of a permanent or electric magnet can be high enough to provide the required reliability of fixation.

Types of assembly and welding fixtures

Considering devices for welding, it should be borne in mind that they are divided into several different categories. The most widely used mechanical clamps and clamps, as they are easy to use and can last for a long period.

If you need to fix large and heavy workpieces, then designs with a pneumatic or electric drive can be used. Due to the use of a special drive, the applied force is significantly increased.

The classification of all devices is also carried out according to the conditions in which they can be operated. Examples include industrial and domestic applications.

In addition, the following groups of auxiliary devices for welding are distinguished:

  1. Combined.
  2. For installation.
  3. For assembly.
  4. Prefix.

In conclusion, we note that the safety of welding also determines the need for reliable fixation of the connected elements. This is due to the fact that it is forbidden to keep the weight of the workpiece. Also, they should not be in an unstable position, as the likelihood of injury or a decrease in the quality of the resulting seam increases.

The reliability of metal structures depends on the quality of welding work. Therefore, state standards are provided that regulate welding processes.

For example, GOST 23518-79 determines what should be the connections of parts welded in a shielding gas environment, how to weld at an acute or obtuse angle. Depending on the gas used, the type of electrode, the additive, the requirements for the welding process are set.

To comply with the technology, devices are used that prevent the parts from changing their position, facilitating the work of the welder. Such devices help to maintain a right angle or any other.

To weld parts at a right or sharp angle, you must be able to move the electrode correctly. During welding, the end of the electrode melts together with the coating, which releases protective gases and partially turns into slag, which also protects the weld pool from atmospheric oxygen.

It is necessary to ensure that the bath is constantly covered with liquid slag, otherwise a high-quality welding seam will not work. The metal in the liquid state must be at least three seconds, which are required for the release of harmful gases.

In this case, it is necessary to move the electrode along the seam, making complex rotational or zigzag movements with the end of the electrode. To achieve such control over welding is possible only with the correct angle of inclination of the electrode. But the angle of inclination is needed not only to control the welding progress. With it, you can influence the characteristics of the weld.

Welding at an angle forward makes the penetration smaller while the width increases. This can be used when welding thin metals. With this method, the edges are well melted, the welding speed is increased.

When welding with a back angle, the penetration becomes deeper and the seam is higher, but the width is reduced. The edges do not warm up enough, so lack of penetration and the formation of pores are likely.

But the ability to cook is not enough to obtain a high-quality weld. Sometimes a certain position in space is required to make a good seam.

And this is achieved by using special devices that fix the parts to be welded in space as needed by the welder. For example, when you want to position the seam vertically.

In the production of welding work, it is very often necessary to fix the parts to be joined together so that the welder can do his job. If the products are heavy, complex shapes, then you can not do without special devices.

In small workshops, devices of a universal type have become widespread, capable of fixing the assembled product before welding and changing its position during the work. They are installation and fixing.

Installation and fixing mechanisms

More practical to use are mechanisms that perform both functions at once - they fix and set the workpiece in the desired position. In this case, the part is simply installed in the fixture and clamped. Next comes the welding.

The simplest device in design is this. The base of the device is mounted on the welding table.

If these are large products, then a lattice frame is made and placed in a horizontal plane. On its surface, the products to be welded are laid at right angles to each other. For this, there are guides in the form of corners on the plane.

If you want to weld one or more products at a right angle, then you can fix them with screw clamps (clamps). Any connections at right angles are easier to start welding on the welding table.

When laying on the table, the correct arrangement of parts in the same plane is guaranteed. An angular rectangular clamp helps to maintain a right angle between the parts. Parts are tacked in several places by welding, after which the whole product can be rotated as needed for the next operation.

When welding bulky products, it is necessary to make rotary clamps. This speeds up the installation and removal of the product.

Homemade retainer

If the blanks are small, then a device for fixing them at an angle of 90 ° can be made independently from improvised material. You need to take a metal corner, a strip (two pieces) and two clamps. To set a right angle, you will need a square, no other tool is required.

The length of the corners can be any. The strip is welded at an angle of 45 degrees to each corner so that they form an isosceles right triangle.

Moreover, the corners (legs) do not reach the top of the triangle by a few centimeters. This will allow in the future to calmly cook rods or profile pipes at the junction. If necessary, clamps can also be welded to the corners. They will firmly fix the welded products.

In order for the structure not to lead, you must first grab it in four places and only then boil it completely. The resulting device, when fixed on the table, will last more than one year.

Application of magnets

When welding at home, it is convenient to use magnetic clamps. They are electromagnetic and based on permanent magnets. Electromagnets are used more in production. For household needs and small industries, permanent magnet latches are convenient. They are compact, can be installed anywhere, some have a variable fixation angle.

The most simple in design and common are magnetic squares. It is enough to attach the square to the part to be welded in one plane, and accordingly position the second part in order to obtain a secure fastening at a right angle.

It remains to grab the details in several places. After that, the product is completely welded. Without tack, magnetic squares will not withstand temperature deformations during welding.

In addition to squares, there are universal magnetic devices. They can fix the workpieces to be welded in many positions.

As an example, consider the MagTab device. The device has two main planes with magnets. The angle between the planes changes, so the fixture can be mounted on a cylindrical, flat surface or in any corner.

There are two more planes to which the parts are attached. The planes are located at right angles and have the ability to move relative to the base. This makes it possible to set the workpiece to be welded in the desired position.

If powerful permanent magnets are available, especially from neodymium, then you can make such devices yourself. When using magnetic clamps, it must be taken into account that they lose their strength under the influence of high temperature, so you need to avoid overheating them.

Pipe connection

Welding is often used when pipelines need to be connected. In this case, the question often arises, but how to weld one pipe to another pipe perpendicularly.

If profile pipes of rectangular or square section are used, then everything is very simple. At the junction, in the pipe to which the other will be welded, it is necessary to make a cutout for the section of the embedded product.

After that, they must be installed in an angle clamp and clamped with a screw, or in any other device that provides a perpendicular connection of the parts. Then the tack is made in several places and then everything is boiled all around.

When welding round pipes, everything happens in exactly the same way. Only additionally, at the end of the pipe to be welded, a cut is made with a radius coinciding with the radius of the main pipe. This ensures a good joint, which will allow you to get a quality seam.

Adapters are often used to connect plastic pipes at right angles. The part is called the 90° angle. It allows you to quickly and easily ensure the accuracy of the angle of rotation.

Welding tools are indispensable in work. Welding itself takes much less time and effort than preparing for this work. The main share in the preparation is the assembly of the device for welding with the fastening of all components in the required position. This process requires special attention, because the quality of the finished product will depend on it.

There are different equipment and a huge number of various devices that are designed for welding. For domestic purposes, mechanical devices for welding are suitable, which allow you to quickly assemble the tool, fix all components well in the required position and obtain minimal deformation of the part.

What are the fixtures?

Welding fixtures can be the following:

  1. Clamp. It is a tool that will come in handy for any work with metal. It can have a variety of shapes and sizes.
  2. Clips for welding. They are easier to use than clamps. The element is fixed by compressing the clamp handles.
  3. Magnetic corners. They have different shapes, different fasteners, it is possible to change the angle. With their help, it is possible to connect sheets and frames at the required angle without much effort.
  4. Welding stands. This is a fixture that has 1 fixed main surface with fasteners. They are needed for welding longitudinal fusion seams on flat products.
  5. Tilters. They are static devices that make it possible to fix the element to be welded and rotate it to the required position in order to perform welding. They are often used for welding large elements that have different shapes and seams on different sides.
  6. Manipulators. These are devices that are necessary to rotate the element about the axis and tilt it at the required angle. They are used for all types of welding, and also for contact. Elements of various forms are attached to them.
  7. Stops. With their help, parts are fastened to the main surfaces. The stops are permanent, removable and folding. Permanent ones are in the form of plates that are welded to the base. Folding and removable are used when they are unacceptable in the finished product.
  8. Clamps. These devices can be wedge, screw, spring, eccentric, lever. Screw clamps are the most famous. Such a clamp is a bolt with a nut, which is threaded into 2 plates. Thanks to them, you can clamp the elements. The clamping one looks like a sheet with a wedge-shaped groove. Eccentric clamps are needed to clamp the element with a cam that is mounted on the lever.
  9. Ties. They are used when welding large items. Ties bring together the edges of the elements to the required distance.
  10. Struts. Thanks to the spacers, you can align the elements, give them the desired shape, and correct defects.

How to make a clamp?

The clamp is a fixing device. To build it, you will need the following materials:

  • steel sheet 1 cm thick;
  • 3 nuts;
  • a number of washers with a large diameter;
  • a pipe having a thread on the outside to fit the size of the nuts.

To make a fixture with your own hands, first a strip is cut out of a sheet of steel. Its length should be 500 mm, width 40 mm. Next, cut out 2 strips. You will also need a movable bar 100 mm, 2 rectangles of 50 mm each to strengthen the movable elements, a small piece to provide support on the main part of the clamp.

An additional part is welded to this part, making the letter G between them. A part for support must be welded onto the short part. 3 nuts are connected together, washers too. Nuts are placed with an edge to the moving part, they are welded. A wooden handle can be attached to the rod, which is fixed at the top with a nut.

All elements are welded on the outside of the parts. A strip of clamp is inserted between them. When the welding of the elements is completed, a movable bar is attached to them. Large washers are welded flat on the end of the metal rod.

Manufacture of fixtures for welding at an angle of 90 °

Manual arc welding: 1-electrode; 2-electrode coating; 3-gas protection.

Welding magnets, which hold the pipes to be joined at right angles, are needed to simplify welding. You will need the following materials:

  • a sheet of metal of a square shape, the sides of which are 20-25 cm;
  • a pipe with a square section;
  • 3 nuts and 3 bolts;
  • bolt (diameter 4 cm) and nut 3.5 cm;
  • steel cylinder with a diameter of 5 mm;
  • drill, drill.

You need to weld 2 pieces of pipe with a length of 200 and 150 mm to a square of metal with your own hands. Then 2 additional parts are made from these pipes. The first is U-shaped from 100 mm segments. The second is a trapezoid with dimensions of 11.5 and 5.4 cm.

Clamps with magnets must be assembled by connecting the components in series.

They will be good welded magnets.

Now you have become aware of the devices for welding and their device. We wish you good luck in your welding work and in the correct use of the necessary tools in order to make various connections, be it angled or branded.

With the help of such a simple device, you can conveniently weld a metal profile at any angle. As a result, work will be facilitated, and the quality of welding will increase. I think that you should spend two dozen minutes and make yourself such a little thing that will save you time and effort in the future.

Need materials

  • A piece of steel plate, approximately 30-50 mm wide and 2-5 mm thick.
  • A piece of steel plate, approximately 10-30 mm wide and 2-5 mm thick.
  • A piece of an angled profile.
  • Two nuts M4-M8.
  • Long hairpin for nuts.
  • A short bolt with a Cheburashka nut.

Making a fixture for profile welding

We take a thick plate.

From it we cut out two segments 140 mm long. We mark on the line.

We cut off with a grinder, grind the sharp edges.

We combine the segments together and drill a hole for the bolt in both.

We insert a bolt into the holes, fixing it with a cheburashka. We set a right angle along the ruler and tighten it with cheburashka.

Draw a straight line along the line. It is necessary to make such a cut so that the segments, being in a right angle, are parallel to each other while being in the same plane. Cut off carefully with a grinder.

This is how it should turn out in the end: the angle is straight, and the legs are on the same line.

We apply a corner profile.

We weld by arc welding.

Having approximately set aside a distance of 90 mm on each side, we draw strips.

Like this:

We cut off the middle with a grinder.

Now take narrow pieces of steel plate.

We clamp it in a vice and bend it with the letter “G” with hammer blows.

Now we weld to each side of the future fixture.

Next, weld the nuts to the bent ends.

We screw a cut-off stud into each nut, with a welded cheburashka at the end. Such a kind of clamping mechanism turned out on each side.

The device is ready!

Due to the fact that it bends in any direction, you can choose absolutely any welding angle, both blunt and sharp.
We fix the rectangular profile at a right angle.

And if you need to weld pipes evenly, then there is nothing easier. Everything will be fixed accurately and will not walk or shake during welding.

You can fix not only metal, but also wood.

In general, make yourself such a useful and convenient device and you will not regret it. See you soon! See the video for detailed assembly.
