Stirring, simmer the mixture over low heat for 2-3 minutes. During this time, the oil will be absorbed into the products and they will “reveal” their taste even more.
  • Squeeze the juice out of the orange and pour it into the frying pan. Also, stirring, simmer the mixture over low heat for about 1 minute. Ginger, having absorbed the oil and juice, will lose its excessive pungency and become soft and only slightly spicy. At this stage you can add 1 tbsp. cognac or any other strong alcoholic drink, if the dessert is not intended for children.
  • Put buckwheat porridge into the frying pan, mix it with the contents, keep it on the fire for no more than 1 minute so that the buckwheat absorbs the liquid and aroma of this mixture, then remove the frying pan from the heat.
  • Place the resulting mass into bowls, decorate the dessert to your liking and serve. You can drizzle the dessert with honey on top if you wish.
