Straight-seam steel pipe is produced in part of the assortment according to GOST 10704-91 “Steel electric-welded straight-seam pipes. Assortment", in terms of technical characteristics in accordance with GOST 10705-80 "Steel electric-welded pipes. Specifications". Products are made from tape of our own production with and without zinc coating. The welded seam of a galvanized pipe is coated with zinc paint by cladding.

QUALITY AND STANDARDS

Certificate of conformity

The straight-seam round electric-welding pipe is manufactured on the mill "40-140" of the South Korean company "JUNGWOO EMC CO". The quality of the electric-welded longitudinal pipe manufactured by UMK LLC is confirmed by a certificate of conformity to GOST 10705-80 and GOST 10704-91. At the request of the client, LLC "UMK" can conduct additional tests of the quality of products.

Integrated management system

The company has developed and implemented an integrated management system (IMS), which is confirmed by a certificate of conformity. The certificate certifies that the longitudinal electric welded pipe GOST 10705-80 (GOST 10704-91) is produced in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001:2008), GOST R 54934-2012 (OHSAS 18001:2007), GOST (ISO 14001: 2004).

Weld control

Inspection of the welded seam of electric-welded pipes is carried out on the installation for magnetic flaw detection UMD-101M. The principle of operation of the installation is based on creating a constant magnetic field in the controlled product and converting into an electrical signal - a defect signal - changes (scattering) of this field caused by fluctuations in the geometric and electromagnetic parameters of the "converter-product" system, that is, the presence of defects such as metal discontinuities ( see picture).

The flaw detector operates continuously in automatic mode and conducts 100% non-destructive testing of the continuity of welds during pipe movement, marks defects, continuously informs the operator about the quality of the weld, its cleaning and geometry. Operational receipt of information shows the welder the correctness or incorrectness of the modes of forming and welding longitudinally seam pipes.

PACKAGE

Packing material

Packing tape black (coated with wax and varnish) 32*0.8 mm. The packing interval is 0.5 meters from the edges of the pack and further at a distance of at least 1.5 meters. Packing is made by the import equipment "Signode" providing an optimum tension and safety of a pack. Transportation of products without "horses" is acceptable. When transporting a profile recently released from production, it should be taken into account that the entire closed profile is oiled.

Pack length: 6, 11.7 and 12 meters (manufacturing in other sizes as agreed).

Pipe products obtained as a result of strip welding are called electric welded. A round electric-welded pipe is also often called a water-gas pipeline (VGP), due to its active use in gas, water distribution systems and for heating. With rare exceptions, pipe mills produce longitudinally welded steel pipes. Small-diameter round tubing can be made thin-walled or thick-walled casing. The price of electric welded pipe mainly depends on the prices and demand for hot-rolled strips.

Application area

Rolled pipes are used in various industries: mechanical engineering, furniture industry, in the production of metal structures, in construction and others. However, the main purpose is the transportation of liquid and gaseous substances: water for consumption and heating, hydrocarbons and other chemical products. Comparison

Electric-welded longitudinal pipes according to GOST 10705-80 and GOST 10704 91 are also often called water and gas pipes.
