The renovation of the exterior, which took only a few months, saw the building's frame strengthened, the façade painted on all sides in a dark chestnut color that perfectly matches the graphite tiles that adorned the renovated roof, and dilapidated windows were replaced with new ones.

Thanks to the original architectural and design solutions of the Austrian architect Jochen Specht, an old country house in the vicinity of the ancient city of Dornbirn, western Austria, has turned into a modern comfortable mansion for a family of 4.

The old building with an area of ​​85 square meters, built back in 1961, did not meet the needs of the family. However, it was impossible to refuse this house - it was built in the picturesque places of the Alpine foothills, on a high forest hill with stunning views of the Rhine River Delta and Lake Constance.

The project for the reconstruction of the house was called Haus Hohlen - House Hall. The concrete frame of the old building was taken as the basis of the house, which was “wrapped” at a certain distance (4 meters in length and 1.5 meters on the end sides) to increase the area of ​​\u200b\u200bhousing, with new facades.
