What plants and herbs to win. How to collect magical herbs? Herb collection: what you need to know

Despite the huge selection of medicinal and cosmetic products, we still turn to herbal medicine from time to time. Even skeptical people, after a short experience, recognize the high effectiveness of herbal and plant treatments. In addition, if you correctly apply herbal medicine, then you completely eliminate the possibility of harm to the body, while taking any medication can be accompanied by unpleasant side effects.

Herbs have a beneficial effect not only on our health, but also on beauty. Decoctions, extractions from medicinal plants are actively used in cosmetology. You, knowing some tricks, can do it yourself, instead of spending a decent amount on the purchase of advertised care. In addition, self-made herbal products will not contain harmful additives, dyes, preservatives ... I think there is no doubt about the usefulness and wide range of applications of herbs, now it's time to talk about when and what herbs should be collected and harvested this autumn.

Herb collection: what you need to know

In order for the effectiveness of herbal medicine to be the greatest, you should not only know how to brew this or that herb (radius, buds, bark, inflorescences) and know which plant helps against which ailments, but also know when to harvest plants. The fact is that, depending on the time of year, the same plant can be both useful and ... harmful! Therefore, if you decide to start collecting plant materials on your own, carefully study the collection calendar.

You can often hear that medicinal herbs should be collected in late spring and summer. This is partly true, since it is during this period that most of the plants useful for our health are collected. However, it is deep autumn in the yard, does this mean that the collection of herbs will have to be postponed until next year? Not at all! A true "herbalist" knows that the work of harvesting plants is carried out from early spring to late autumn, namely from March to November.

At the end of the herb season, namely in October-November, we will still be able to collect enough raw materials to replenish our home first aid kit. At this time of the year, as a rule, rhizomes, roots, seedlings, bark, cones, leaves, cone berries are harvested. We do not collect buds, inflorescences, flowers and grass for obvious reasons - by this time they have already faded and withered.

What do we collect in the fall?

Let's move on to a small list of plants that we can prepare for next year. So, in October we can collect:

Cranberry fruits (prevention of colds, remedy for edema, varicose veins, bacterial infections);

Roots of wild chicory (rash, stagnation of fluid in the body, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract);

Male fern rhizomes (rheumatism, leg muscle cramps, under medical supervision: as an anthelmintic);

Rhizomes together with the roots of spring primrose (wound healing, insomnia, bronchitis, cough);

Cones (constipation, fluid retention in the body, infections, kidney stones, poor appetite, digestive problems, also prescribed for better sputum discharge);

Rhizomes and roots of burnet officinalis (inflammation, loss of strength, convulsions, diarrhea);

Dandelion roots (diseases of the liver and gallbladder, gastritis, loss of appetite, sclerosis);

Gray alder cones (gastrointestinal diseases, colds, rheumatic fever);

Rhizomes of creeping wheatgrass (colds, bronchitis, wound healing effect);

Rose hips cinnamon (diseases of the gallbladder and liver, infections, prevention of viral infections and beriberi);

Rhizomes and roots of valerian officinalis (used to lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, treat wounds and skin diseases);

Rhizomes with roots of mountaineer snake (hemorrhoids, bladder stones, pulmonary bleeding, dysentery, uterine bleeding, inflammation and disease of the gums and oral cavity);

Rhizomes with roots of angelica officinalis (for stagnation of bile and fluid in the body, heart disease and as a general tonic);

Comfrey roots (runny nose, nosebleeds, tumors in the uterus and chest);

Bearberry leaves (as a diuretic, for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and bladder);

Rhizomes and roots of horse sorrel (anemia, diseases of the gallbladder, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, hemorrhoids, wounds).

Despite the fact that November is considered “off-season” for collecting medicinal herbs, you can still replenish your home first-aid kit with something useful even after the start of frost. Collected in November:

Alder seedlings (colds, inflammation of the mouth and throat, arthritis, allergies, stomach diseases);

Field harrow roots (urolithiasis, headache, gout, hemorrhoids);

(removal of edema, spasms, antioxidant and diuretic effects, diseases of the genitourinary system, toothache, cough, bronchitis, asthma, heart disease);

Horse chestnut (seeds) (slows down blood clotting, relieves inflammation, swelling, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, reduces pain in the joints and veins);

When collecting medicinal plants, one more important point should be taken into account. Depending on the climate, the time for collecting certain herbs may shift. In this calendar, the calculation goes to the middle zone of Russia, therefore, depending on your location, make changes to this calendar.

As you can see, even in autumn, you can collect enough herbs to defeat almost any disease and strengthen your immune system.

Herb magic

INTRODUCTION
Why do some women hide a small bag of lavender under their pillow? What drives a man who scatters dry basil around his shop every morning? And why do grandmothers grow garlic near the house?
These people, like many others, discovered the magical effect of herbs. If used correctly, the energy of plants can bring love, protection, peace of mind, success and happiness into our lives.
Herbal magic (using the energy of plants to make wishes come true) is one of the oldest and most effective methods of magic. It is an affordable tool that anyone can use. Today, however, only a few have sufficient knowledge of this ancient occupation.
What do we know about the magic of herbs? Is it based entirely on psychology? Can it improve our lives? Do plants really have some hidden energy? Or is it not without spirits and demons? Are "magic" herbs dangerous? What are the limitations in this case? Finally, how and what herbs should be used for magic and where can they be found?
You will find answers to these and other questions in this book.

THE ORIGINS OF HERB MAGIC
The magic of herbs originates in the distant past, when people only began to explore what grows around.
Certain plants attracted people with their color, shape, smell and taste. Our ancestors learned to derive great benefit from the lower forms of life: they were used in cooking and medicine, for making clothes and jewelry, for rituals. We do not know exactly how and why plants came to be used for ritual purposes. Perhaps this has something to do with the aromas of herbs, since in ancient times the human sense of smell was much sharper than it is today. Strong odors emanating from the plant could help establish a connection with spirits, that is, with the unknown and unknown.
Ancient people may also have known about the energy coming from herbs. The ability to feel this energy today we call extrasensory. And if our ancestors had such abilities, they probably used them to study herbs. Be that as it may, 3000 years before our era, plants were regularly used for magical purposes in Egypt, Sumer and other civilizations. In the II century BC. magic has firmly established itself in people's lives. Thousands of plants (sometimes rare and expensive) have been used in Europe, Africa, America, Asia and other places to make human existence easier.
The first herbalists (books that give descriptions of plants and how to use them) appeared in ancient Greece. Most herbalists included information about the magical properties of plants along with medicinal ones. These books have been copied over the centuries, spreading the practical knowledge of the healing magic of herbs more and more widely. A lot of information was passed from professionals to their students.
Greek and Roman texts spread throughout Europe in the 15th century. Among them were the most famous herbalists. Ultimately, this huge array of knowledge accumulated by specialists became the property of the broad masses. The boundaries between herbal magic and herbal medicine gradually disappeared. Witch doctors have discovered that the herbs that grow in their area can be quite used for magical purposes. Spells were reworked, added and passed on. Plant magic was in its prime, and new horizons opened before it.

BLACK DAYS OF HERB MAGIC
With the emergence and rooting of Christianity, the pre-Christian practice of magic began to be persecuted, and it fell into decline. The age-old practice was condemned by the church, which did not recognize it and was afraid of any forces other than its own. The practice of plant magic went underground or ceased altogether. Many recipes and incantations have been lost.
Wandering through the forest at night in search of rare herbs has become unsafe. Witch doctors could no longer openly collect herbs at sunrise, casting spells. The sorcerers no longer dared to draw circles around the plants with magic swords before digging them up.
Herb magic has become nothing more than superstition: "It's bad luck to keep this plant in the house," "This herb will bring love," or "Keep a bay leaf in your wallet for protection." “No, I don't know why; my mom always does it. It's a family tradition."
And the plants began to wait patiently for people to rediscover their incredible properties.

REVIVAL OF HERB MAGIC
Fortunately, the herbs did not disappear, and the knowledge about them was not destroyed.
The well-known "herbalists" Theophrastus, Dioscorides, Apuleius, Gerard and others have preserved much information on the magic of herbs, as well as the works of Pliny, Agrippa, Portus and other ancient authors. Scraps of manuscripts that were in museums have preserved fragments of records from the magic of herbs. All this and folk practice made it possible to revive magic.
There was a surge of interest in herbal medicine and cultivation in the 1930s in North America and England. By the beginning of the 70s, people came close to the study of herbs.
Thus began the revival of herbal magic.
Most of the "new" herbalists published between 1930 and 1970 continued the tradition of including magical recipes along with medical and cosmetic ones, but some books dealt exclusively with herbal magic. Gardens where herbs were grown and shops where they were sold appeared one after another. The number of medicine men increased significantly after the "vegetable fever" passed through the United States. Healers were treated with gratitude for the fact that they were able to preserve the remnants of knowledge and taught those who wished. Many old secrets have been rediscovered and put into wide use.
And finally, in the 1980s, the books of this author, like others, brought information about magic to the public. Tens of thousands of people around the world began to find new uses for herbs and plants. Today, many are ready to learn the whole truth about the magic of herbs.

WHAT IS "GRASS"?
Even botanists have not yet come to a consensus. And in magic, it is believed that "grass" is any plant or part of a plant that is used in work. This is a cactus, and a flower, and seaweed, moss, mushrooms, simple grass, vine, shrub or tree. Spices and spices can also be classified as "herbs". And parts of plants used in medicine can be seeds, inflorescences, leaves, bark and roots. In a word, "grass", "grass" - all this implies that the plant can be used for specific purposes. For example, in medicinal (“golden root”), culinary (mint), cosmetic (almond), aesthetic (rose) or magical (sandalwood). Lots of options.
However, in herbal magic, only those plants that have special properties are used.

COLLECTION OF HERBS
Herbs can be found almost everywhere: they grow near houses, along the road, by the river, in the desert, on mountain peaks, in the forest. And many are specially grown in gardens, both for culinary and magical purposes.
Some herbalists believe that herbs collected in their geographical area bring the best results. This limits the number of herbs that can help, because sometimes the right herbs only grow in other parts of the world.
Fortunately, there is a way out. Herbs that don't grow near you can be bought at the supermarket, health food stores, or specialty stores. And that small number of plants, which are almost impossible to find, are very rarely required for work and are almost forgotten. So everything you need is available.
Readers often ask, “Can I buy some of the ingredients from a store that specializes in magic? Can I use supermarket-bought herbs? Definitely yes. Some are harder to find, others are available in any supermarket (cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, thyme, etc.), and of course you can use them.

GROWING HERBS
Growing herbs is a charm of the past. We can not only enjoy the unusual aromas and beauty of the leaves and flowers of the plants themselves, but also provide ourselves with material for the practice of magic. Many healers grow their own herbs. Seed bags are freely sold in the store. You can also buy seedlings. The most popular are lavender, rosemary, allspice, geranium, spearmint, peppermint, basil and cumin - all of which have magical properties. Herbs begin to grow in the spring (after frost) outdoors. And indoors, you can grow all year round if you place them on the sunny side. Experiment. Many people think that grasses grow well when they are abandoned and grow on poor soil, but this is not at all the case. Plants deserve attention and care. It's worth a little work, and they will give us happy hours. But growing herbs is by no means a necessity, it is entertainment.

WHAT IS HERB MAGIC?
Herbal magic is the use of plant energy to create positive transformation and change. But remember that you should not rely only on plants. The healer sends energy to the herbs from his own body. There is a mixture of energy (plants and man), a goal is set, and this force is sent to the "magic gate".
Everything is not as difficult as it might seem. Our bodies constantly radiate energy. There is nothing supernatural about this; moreover, it is completely normal. We create this energy when we eat, sleep, breathe, exercise. Thus, we have something to protect (preserve). In herbal magic, we take this energy, tell it what to do, mix it with the energy of the herbs, and send it to its destination. This is no more difficult than turning on the TV by sending a cord with a plug to the outlet: we take energy (electricity), we say what to do (turn on the TV) and wait for changes (the image appears on the screen). The difference is that in plant magic we ourselves are the source of electricity. When we “turn on” a plant, we stimulate it, we set its strength and energy in motion. That's what makes plants give such an effect. We do not just throw roses and lavender into the air, we work with these plants, send them our power, stimulate their own, to fulfill our desires (needs).

HERB ENERGY
This means that we must carefully choose the herbs we are going to use for the magical effect. Each herb contains a certain type of energy. It's like a hundred different pizzas: each of them is a pizza, but each has its own taste and toppings. Also with herbs. They are all herbs, but each has its own specific "ingredients", or the same "ingredients" but in different amounts. Such properties, "ingredients" (chemical structures), are responsible for the use of the plant, for example, for medicinal (healing) purposes. At the same time, their smells, colors and "magical abilities" are taken into account.
Witch doctors do not need to memorize two hundred or more ingredients found, for example, in roses. It is more important to know and choose the right energy of the plant in order to perform a successful ceremony.

MAYBE IT'S PERFUME?
No. "Spirits", "demons" and other creatures have nothing to do with herb magic. A magical ritual is a process that takes place between humans and plants.
Spirits and demons have nothing to do with it. Those who practice magic do not follow any concept and do not worship any deity. The false idea that herbal magic is controlled by spirits or demons is a direct result of some religious teachings that oppose all forms of self-improvement. The facts do not support such teachings.

THE MAGIC OF HERBS - SOMETHING SUPERNATURAL?
Absolutely not! Many people think that all magic is supernatural. They simply forgot what they knew in childhood: the world is the dominance of forces, energies, we can communicate with colors, magic is as real as the sun, moon, stars, our own breath are real. Those who have no idea about the energy of the Earth (and plants) do consider herbal magic to be supernatural. It is not right. After all, what could be more organic and natural than plants?

IS HERB MAGIC DANGEROUS?
No. Naturally, we can cut ourselves when collecting herbs, burn ourselves on a censer, or break a smoke indicator when we fumigate with incense, but these are among the "dangers" of everyday life. Some "experts" claim that when we start practicing magic, we associate ourselves with incomprehensible spirits that can deprive us of peace. I know that no spellcaster would agree with these statements, and in my practice I have not come across this. The magic of herbs is not dangerous, but it takes a lot of energy, because we want to change something in our life. We cannot afford to say, “Oh, my life is worthless! It's not my fault and there's nothing I can do about it!"
"Something to do with it" and the magic of herbs helps us. This is a huge responsibility, but those who are ready for difficulties will get the result.

SPELLS AND SPELLS
A spell is a magical rite. This is the moment when all forces increase, energy surges, is “programmed” for a specific need (for example, love, money) and is directed to implementation.
Many spells are kept secret, many are not. But known conspiracies are no less effective than secret ones. Any spell will work, as long as it is clearly formulated and correctly performed. It is needed in order to bring together all the necessary details, charge them with energy and use it in a certain way. Herbal conspiracies are very easy to carry out.
In this book, the words "spell, conspiracy" and "ritual, rite" replace each other. You can read some of them at the end of the book.

DO'S AND DO'S IN HERB MAGIC
Witch doctors and herbal magicians, in general, are the same as all people. Magic is not a tool, it is a tool of love. It is never used to hurt or subdue others: only yourself can be controlled. There are people who go so far as to publish books with conspiracies that can harm others. But they understand little about magic; they have no love for the natural world, humanity. Plant magick is a tool for love, health, growth, security and spirituality.

MAGICAL WAYS TO USE HERBS
Herbs are used in many forms of magic. Some methods are completely new, others have been preserved since the time when people just started using these "green" gifts of nature. Here are some of them:
Incense fumigation. This is the easiest way: the grass smolders on a hot coal, emitting a smell and releasing its energy.
Oils. For centuries, medicine men have used aromatic oils, creating them by transferring the scent into vegetable oil. The herbs and oil were slowly heated (over a fire or in the sun) to extract the flavor and move it into the oil. These days, real aromatic oils (created by distillation) are available to everyone. The necessary oils are mixed in certain proportions (vegetable oil is used as the base), this composition is rubbed into the skin or used for ritual baths.
magical aromatherapy. You inhale the scents of aromatic oils, while simultaneously creating a visual image of the things for which you turned to magic. In this case, the energy emanating from the plants helps to make positive changes.
Bath salts. Aromatic oils are mixed with sea salt, which is added to the water before taking ritual baths.
Powders. Herbs are crushed and pounded in a mortar. This powder is sprinkled around, dissipating the energy of the herbs. This remedy is popular for cleansing and protecting before the ritual.
Amulets. All herbs (roots, fruits or seeds) or combinations of them are usually placed in a small cloth bag and kept at home. Amulets protect.
Talismans. Whole herbs or mixtures thereof, placed in a cloth bag, have a special energy, attracting love, money, purification, health, courage, spiritual and physical strength. But by definition, talismans do not protect. Herbal pillows. These are the same talismans, only larger in size. The pillow is made from soft fragrant herbs and dense cotton fabric. Witch doctors sleep on such "herbal" pillows or put under a regular pillow at night.
Infusions. There are a huge number of options for infusions. It can be just tea infused with herbs that can be used as a magical drink (for example, rose petal tea for love.) Or special, magically charged liquids that can be used to wash an object or body. Such herbs can be placed in a kettle of boiling water in order to release their energy, strength and aromas. There is another way. Place the cloth bag of herbs in a hot water bath before taking. This will have a healing effect. (People use infusions to prepare potions and love potions.)
Ointments, ointments. One of the main means of healers was almost forgotten. Although it is easy to prepare: the desired herbs are mixed with fat or wax. And usually they are applied to the body.
Ink. Finally, herbs are sometimes used to make ink, which is useful for writing magic formulas.
There are many other methods of using herbs in magic. Here are the main ones.

DO HERBS HAVE A MAGIC EFFECT?
Yes. Herbal magic is really effective. In other words, people who set reasonable goals and strictly follow all the rules get results. “Reasonable,” of course, does not include winning the lottery, becoming a movie star, unexpectedly earning a million, or some unrealistic desire. Witchcraft (like all types of folk magic) is just a tool. As a tool, they should be used. It won't work on its own; it needs our hands (and thoughts, and energy) in order to have an effect.
Skeptics will argue that herb magic won't work, and if it does work, they'll pass it off as a coincidence. They don't listen to anyone's opinion, so let's leave them alone and trust only ourselves.
Those who practice herbal magick know that it is a working, effective system to help bring about positive change. They don't "believe in magic", they know that magical herbs have real power.

HOW DOES THE MAGIC OF HERBS WORK?
Good question. According to the theory, the whole world (visible and not visible to us) consists of different energies. Energies manifest in physical form: galaxies, the sun, planets, mountains, bees, cats, and ourselves. Each of the specific types of energy has a specific manifestation (for example, in a plant). All earthly objects contain the so-called Earth Energy. And we have our own.
But there are energies that do not manifest in any form. They have neither personal energy nor Earth Energy, and yet they exist (in various forms) almost everywhere. There are as many of them as there are earthly and personal forces. They are simply not embodied in material objects. (Let's call this form free force energy.)
Herbal magic mixes Earth Energy (found in herbs) with your own energy (produced by the body), and a new form of "programmed", concentrated energy is created. It is then programmed with a specific purpose and used in one of the following ways:
1. The combination of personal energy and Earth Energy can be directed to the energy of free forces (to attract additional energy, or cause changes at the non-physical level). As a rule, this method is used to attract love or improve the financial situation.
2. Energy is sent back to the plant to charge it, causing it to hold that energy for a certain amount of time and then release it.
3. The energy is sent back to the healer for internal changes (or less often to the person for whom the rite is performed).
All three of these techniques are effective. The choice depends on the type of ritual.
But what happens when the force reaches its target? There are many theories, it depends on what the energy was directed to.
When energy is sent to a plant (or oil, amulet, talisman, root, etc.), it charges it. The physical form first stores energy, and after a while begins to slowly release it. In this sense, energy is used to create a magical "battery" that releases that energy "on demand". For example, bunches of herbs are used for protection; protective energy comes out of them to block the entrance from unfavorable energies.
If the combined energies (combined forces) are sent to the free ones, they create an "echo" effect. Free energies of similar types will attach to themselves the energy sent by the caster: that is, his love energy will attract other love energies that are "free". This is called "like attracts like". The same happens with energy that is sent into free space, for example, to attract money, spirituality, or other magical purposes. (I realize this theory is rather vague and inaccurate, but it's the best we can work with these days.)
If the energy is sent back to the caster (or to the person for whom it is done), this stimulates his personal forces to carry out certain goals. Unlike herbs, humans hold onto this energy and use it to bring about inner change. (Some of these changes are automatic, others are controlled by the caster.) "Recharge" is usually done at regular intervals: most spells are cast every day for a week. Working with the energies of plants is the essence of herbal magic.
Still don't understand? Don't worry. We don't have to know exactly how herbal magic works to get the desired result. You just need to try to do everything right and believe in it, and then the effect will not keep you waiting.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF HERB MAGIC
"Charging" is the point at which the caster sends their own energy into the herbs (or mixtures thereof). Neglecting this is like standing behind the car, throwing away the keys, and waiting for it to go where you need it.
Before energizing the plant, the caster must first call and program his own energy. This is often achieved through emotion and a simple, effective method of contracting the muscles of the body. The visual image of your need "programs" the energy for the goal. And only when this energy is evoked and “programmed” can it be sent into the plant.
Charging is usually done by touching the herbs, that is, releasing energy through the fingertips. It is very difficult to describe this process on paper, but if you do it at least once, you will understand.
All gadgets are charged before you charge yourself. The same with oils, powders, bath salts, tinctures, talismans, amulets.
We must work with herbs to increase their potential and release energy. Many who have failed in herb magic have overlooked this important step.

WHO CAN PRACTICE HERB MAGIC?
Yes, anyone. The gates of herbal magic are open to everyone, regardless of their religion and commitment. There are no oaths or vows. This does not require long training (although experience increases efficiency). However, there are several necessary conditions: love for oneself, for others, and for the world; desire to work hard to achieve results; interest in the unknown (but very real) world of energies that surround us, and a strong desire to change our lives for the better.
In addition, the herbalist must see magic for what it is: it is a tool with which we can improve our existence. It may seem mysterious, but only because there is so much we don't understand. All thoughts of herbal magic as something "supernatural" will only hinder its effect.

REQUIRED CASTER TOOLS
First, of course, the herbs themselves. They are best stored in glass jars with tightly closed lids. Each container must be signed. Here are the essential herbs to have on hand:
Basil
laurel
Cedar
Cinnamon
Incense
Lavender
Lemongrass
Chernobyl
Myrrh
Nutmeg
Poppy
Rosemary
Rose petals
sandalwood
yarrow

Your collection will be replenished over time - some healers store up to three hundred names of herbs.
You will also need a device for smoking herbs. It can be anything from an elaborate Chinese incense burner to a simple dish half-filled with sand; as well as coal produced specifically for fumigation.
Mortar and pestle are probably the most important tools of the healer. With their help, you can turn bark, roots and seeds into powder during the manufacture of amulets, talismans and fumigation. The preferred material is steel, as glass, wood, ceramic mortars often break when you crush hard plants such as sandalwood.
A knife may be needed when you are gathering herbs in the wild or in the garden. It can be anything, but with a white handle.
You will also need a mixing container. In this case, ceramic and glassware, and even stainless steel dishes are suitable. The bowl should be large enough to hold both of your hands (when mixing the herbs).
Candles of different colors are also needed; they are lit both during the mixing of the components and when spells are cast. It is better to use beeswax candles, but regular ones will do. And be sure to have non-flammable candlesticks.
Most healers keep a notebook where they write down conspiracies, recipes, and the results of their activities. Blank notebooks are sold in any bookstore, you can also use a diary. Over the years, this notebook will become a storehouse of knowledge about herbs and their use in magic.

GUIDE TO PERFORMING HERB MAGIC SESSIONS
You should be alone while reading the plots, so wait until everyone in the house is asleep (many people temporarily turn off the phone so that no one disturbs them).

For one session - one spell. You should not use three conspiracies to achieve three different goals, as you can confuse energy.
And money is never taken for this - this is an old rule.
All this should be done only for yourself. It surprises me that many people hesitate to try magic on themselves, usually claiming that they would be better off helping others. But this cannot be done without the consent of others.
And of course love must be the driving force.

WHAT HERBS TO USE?
If you follow recipes or spells from a certain book, then everything will be indicated in it. If you decide to act on your own, then look through the books or follow your intuition. As examples below, I will give a few goals and ways to achieve them with the help of magic.

PROTECTIVE HERBS
Herbs, properly energized, are a powerful protective agent.
As a rule, they have strong odors, which have protective properties. They can be kept at home, in the car, next to jewelry, and also carried with you. They are often made into amulets. In any case, the idea is the same: the charmed herbs release energy that destroys negative, alien forces that are trying to invade their territory.
Protective plants include garlic, laurel, dill, and frankincense. Root crops are also used as protective amulets (for example, the roots of iris, willow-herb, mandrake).

HERBS THAT MAKE MONEY
There are herbs in magic that can help you make money or guide you to spend it wisely. They don't make us rich, but they can help pay off debt.
These include familiar spices and herbs such as cinnamon, cloves and saffron, as well as exotic ones such as oakmoss and calanga. These herbs can be kept with money, put around green candles, or made into a talisman.

LOVE HERBS AND SPELLS FOR THEM
Many plants have been used for centuries to bring love; these include rose, lavender, orange blossom, iris, violet, jasmine, basil. Thousands of "conspiracies and spells were found in the records of magicians and healers. Tinctures were prepared and spells were cast, and all in the name of love.
Love may seem like something magical, but it is no more supernatural than magic itself. Magic cannot immediately generate love, but through it love can be found. Many love spells are meant for you personally. This is done in order to attract others, those who are simply looking for friendship.
Although love spells will not make subject "A" fall in love with subject "B" (no spell will help you). But it can help "A" meet "B", "C", "D", "E" and "F". And after any of these meetings, a relationship can begin. The role of magic in creating love is another example of the ease of herbal magic.
Remember the love spells I mentioned earlier. Most of them are related to sex, but not to love. Remember that all love herbs must be well-charged before use.

HERBS FOR PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENT
Another category of herbs helps bring out our natural physical abilities. Most healers believe that all people are, in fact, healers from birth. But we are usually taught to block this natural gift by the time we grow up, we become part of society. There are those who have acquired this gift again through training and practice.
Many herbs have long been used by those who wish to enhance their physical condition. Lemongrass, star anise, Chernobyl, saffron (rather expensive herbs) and yarrow were energized and used in healing mixtures. These herbs can be mixed, charged and stored next to the hospital card. You can also make sachets (small cloth bags filled with herbs) and sniff as needed. And yet - Chernobyl tea (clean or with a spoonful of honey) is used to improve well-being.

HERBS FOR SESSIONS
There are significantly fewer of them. But a handful of such herbs will help calm the soul and heart. Among them are frankincense, sandalwood, aloe wood and myrrh. Usually they are energized, set on fire and used during meditation or séances, as well as religious rites. Their delicate aroma soothes and creates a feeling of comfort.

"DAMAGE" HERBS AND "FLYING" OINTMENTS
One of the dark chapters in the history of herbs was the traditional use of "disastrous" (poisonous) herbs. Such herbs, including henbane, hemlock, hellebore, mandrake, and datura, were popular during the Renaissance. They were used to induce visions, create the illusion of physical strength, clouding the mind, and even dull the pain of those who were put to execution for magic.
"Destructive" herbs have taken a "honorable" place in magic due to their specific chemical structure. These herbs contain special chemicals that cause hallucinations by affecting the brain. They are used in the manufacture of ointments, balms and other magical potions, as well as for smoking.
While these herbs can easily cause brain disease, injury, and even death, they have been used in magic for centuries.
The most common was their use for the preparation of the so-called "volatile ointments". These were prepared by boiling herbs in fat. Such an ointment was applied to the body (it is necessary to be near the fire). There were hallucinations that created an incredibly real feeling of flying. The most vivid fantasies visited people during such hallucinogenic journeys. Many now claim that these compounds were used to promote astral flights of the imagination (the conscious separation of thought from the body to help consciousness flow freely through time and space). If so, then the use of such lethal ointments was a dangerous and unreliable method. It's best not to use it these days. (Astral flights of the imagination are rather achieved through hard work.) Drugs cannot enhance this process, and your brain will be damaged. G
But there are other, more harmless (safer) ways to use these herbs. Many of them are used in medicine, they can also be used to make magical talismans, some are even used to attract love. But it is better to avoid these herbs: they can kill, besides, drugs have nothing to do with plant magic.

THIRTEEN HERBS AND THEIR MAGICAL USES

SOME EXAMPLES FROM HERB MAGIC
Now that we have discussed the basics of herbal magic (technique, theory, remedies, and the herbs themselves), it's time to move on to incantations and spells. The rites and ceremonies below, which have never previously appeared in print, can be performed using common household items, and the components can be purchased at any shop.
If you decide to perform these rituals, then remember a few important points.
- Connect your energy with the energy of the herbs you use.
- Learn to manage this energy.
- You don't have to believe in the magic of herbs, but you need to know that it is effective.
- Most spells should be repeated at least once a day for a week.
- Gradually, with practice and experience, it will become easier for you.
Now let's move on to spells!

LOVE TALISMAN FROM BASIL AND CINNAMON
Required components:
- a large flat plate;
- a small photo with your image (no one but you should be on it);
- cinnamon;
- dry basil;
- ceramic or glass bowl;
- a cone-shaped candle of pink color;
- pink thread;

This rite can be performed at any time.
Take a candle in both hands. Close your eyes. Imagine that you are loved. Fill yourself with love. Transfer this energy to the candle. Insert the candle into the candlestick and light it. Then place the plate in front of the candle. Place your small photo in the center of the plate. Use a spoon or the spice jar itself to place a small circle of cinnamon on a plate around your photo. Tell:
"Love surrounds me."
Sprinkle another, larger circle of basil around the cinnamon, saying again, "Love surrounds me."
Now again sprinkle cinnamon on the third, largest circle around the basil, saying: "Love surrounds me."
Place your hands palm down over the three circles and your photo, hold for a moment. Feel how the forces coming from the herbs come to you.
Link your powers to the powers of the herbs and visualize this in your mind. Carefully pour the spices and photograph into a bowl. Dip your hands there and, stirring the contents with your fingers, send your energy, while saying:
"Spices and herbs,
Plants and trees!
Send me someone
Who would love me
And we'll split this love in half;
So let my wish come true!”
Dry your hands. Sprinkle the spices and the photo onto the pink fabric. Gather the ends, twist them and tie with pink thread. Put the love charm behind the candle. Let him lie there for at least 18 minutes.
Then blow out the candle and carry the talisman with you. Light a candle at about the same time every day for 7 minutes and love will find you!

CONSPIRACY FOR PROTECTION
Required components:
- 5 whole bay leaves (of the same size);
- 1 pen with red ink;
- 5 white candles and 5 candlesticks;
- matches (and a heat-resistant container for used matches).
Perform this rite in the daytime, preferably at noon.
Darken the room. Lay everything you need on a flat surface. Close your eyes for a few minutes. Breathe deeply. Open your eyes and start the ceremony.
Hold the bay leaves between the thumb and forefinger of the hand you normally write with. Close your eyes and imagine yourself protected: you are surrounded by bright light, guarded by a loyal, ferocious animal, dressed in an armored suit. (Those things that you imagine are not as important as the effectiveness they give you. You must feel the power in yourself and around you.) And then send your energy to the herbs.
Lay the bay leaves on the table further away, and one directly in front of you. The stem should point to the left, and the top of the leaf should point to the right. Use a red pen to write the letter "3" on this piece of paper. Then lay it straight 15 cm away from you with the stalk pointing towards you.
On the second piece of paper, write the letter "A" in the same way as on the first. Lay it to the right of the first leaf so that their stems touch.
On the third leaf, write "Sh". Put it behind the second, connecting the stems. "
On the fourth, write "And" after the third.
On the fifth - "T", and on the sixth - "A".
You should get a semblance of a flower from bay leaves and the word "PROTECTION". Take candles in your hands and mentally direct your energy into each of them, and only after that place them in candlesticks. Place each candle against each leaf at a distance of approximately 2.5 cm. Thus, you have a ring of candles located around the herbs.
Light the first candle and say, "Protection comes here."
Light the second candle and say: "Protection from heaven and earth."
Light the third candle and say: "The evil spirit flies away."
Light the fourth candle and say, "And don't bother me again."
Light the fifth candle and say, "Nothing will hurt me."
Light the sixth candle and say: "Neither spiritual nor physical."
Lower your hands over the leaves and candle flames and say, “I am protected; evil disappears! May it come true!” Open the curtains to fill the room with light. Leave everything for 15 minutes and then return to the herbs and candles.
Collect bay leaves and bury them in the ground. Blow out the candles and then light them every day for 15 minutes until they burn out.

From the beginning of spring, the time for collecting herbs begins and this period lasts until late autumn. I want to clarify right away that herbs are collected for different purposes, taking into account certain properties of plants.

Conventionally, the properties of plants can be divided into the following types:

Healing properties- those properties of the plant, thanks to which they allow to maintain, maintain or restore health. For example, Icelandic moss or Icelandic cetraria improves immunity, it is also used as a choleretic, healing, anti-inflammatory, laxative and antimicrobial agent.

household properties- those properties of the plant, thanks to which people use these plants for a comfortable life. So planting marigolds in the garden will help get rid of aphids, bears and ants. Diffusing clove essential oil will provide you with a pleasant summer evening without annoying mosquitoes. Tobacco, lavender or myrrh can be put in a wardrobe, this will protect clothes from moths and give things a special smell (what it will be, you choose). Hemp and cotton are used to make fabrics, trees are used to make paper and furniture, fruits and herbs are used to make creams, and so on. etc.

Nutritional properties- those properties of plants due to which we can use them for food. Vegetables, fruits, berries, roots, seeds and leaves of various plants help us sustain life and give us energy.

magical properties- those properties of plants, thanks to which we can use them in Magic to protect, sanctify, heal, attract, strengthen, bloom or destroy something. For example, thyme has protective properties, it can be consecrated and hung over the entrance. Lovage will enhance the attractiveness if you add it to the bath and talk to the water. Laurel will help to take a high-ranking position and gain the respect of society.

Perhaps next time, before wiping dirty shoes on grass-ant or picking a leaf from a tree to relieve nervous tension, someone will remember that the plants that are around us are a generous gift from the Ancestor. And that if you need to disrupt or use them, then you need to do this with a clear understanding of the goal.

In this article, I will tell you how to properly collect magical herbs, i.e. how to collect herbs so that they manifest their magical properties. So:

Understand what you need what you want to attract or change in yourself or your life. There may be several goals. And you will harvest the necessary herbs throughout the spring, summer and autumn (and winter, if someone wants to collect the mistletoe correctly).

Goals can be different, for example, the protection of loved ones, comfort in the house, wealth and love.

Decide on those herbs which will be needed for this.

I will share with you how to make very strong protective solar amulet. For him, you will need to collect three solar herbs: sunflower petals, moss and St. John's wort.

For the amulet will help create an atmosphere of comfort and peace in your home you will need apple flower petals, moss, lemon zest.

To create an amulet for attraction of wealth, collect thyme, oak leaves and millet.

Very interesting effect of the amulet for love will be if you collect cinnamon, moss and verbena.

As you may have noticed, some amulets contain ingredients that are difficult to assemble on your own. They may simply not grow in the area where you live, or you may be in the right place at the wrong time and this will also prevent you from collecting the right plant. The way out here may be to purchase the desired ingredient in a pharmacy, from herbalists or in the food department of a store. But how to be? After all, these will be completely different herbs in terms of energy, their magical Power may be dormant or completely absent. How to proceed in this case, I will tell in this video.

So, we decided on the goal, understood what herbs we need for this. Now you need to figure out at what time to collect this or that magical plant. Here, in fact, everything is simple: we collect the petals when the grass or tree blooms, the leaves and the stem, while they are in the juice itself (no longer small and not yet withered), the seeds when they are ripe, the roots in the fall, when all the strength of the plant leaves to the root. As you understand, we do not collect all the herbs for the Summer Solstice, simply because by this time some plants may already have lost the quality we are looking for, while others have not yet acquired it.

It is also important to know where, how and with what to collect magical plants?

Place to collect the desired herb should be pleasant to your feelings. You should not collect grass for protection, wealth, love and other creative purposes in cemeteries, landfills, roadsides or ruins. It is best to collect magical herbs in nature, in the garden or on your own plot.

What to collect? Many herbs can be harvested by hand or (if it is difficult to do it by hand) with a magic knife with a white handle or a new knife bought and used specifically for this purpose. But there are some plants that need to be collected only with a wooden knife, for example, nettle and dope.

When to collect? Herbs are usually harvested at dawn until the dew dries on them. It mainly refers to the collection of flowers and stems. The fruits can be harvested in the morning and afternoon, but the roots are dug after sunset.

How to collect? Imagine that you are Spirit. You live in the branches of a tree, take care of it, protect it, negotiate with other Spirits so that they help or not interfere with your tree. And now the time has come and the fruits have ripened on the tree, filled with juice and fragrance. And then comes a creature that, without asking, breaking branches, reaches for the most beautiful and ripest fruits. He throws them on the ground, takes not all, but bites, some, throws them away, and takes some with him. What will it feel like to be alone with a damaged and robbed tree? Your permission was not asked, your work was ruined, you got the remnants of the former splendor ...

Many people do not even know about the retribution that awaits them when they pull out a whole bush of thyme in a clearing without asking, cut down a tree in the forest or uproot steppe tulips. Every place, every plant is watched over by the Spirit. And if something is collected or spoiled, then the Spirit will avenge it. Of course, the revenge of the Spirit will not manifest itself with lightning speed, and yet he will do everything so that the offender experiences in his life the same thing that the Spirit experienced.

Therefore, prepare in advance. Take fresh bread with you (I recommend taking bread for offerings) or good milk or coins of any denomination. Take a handkerchief or natural fabric where you put the collected grass. Take a knife (if necessary). Going to the place where the desired plant grows, break off a piece of bread and say with all due respect:

Spirit of the Place, I (name or magic name), salute you. Please accept this gift, let me collect (such and such a plant) in order to make an amulet (for such and such a purpose).

Mentally ask where to put the bread, and put it where your eyes fall. Next, you will need to talk with the Spirit of the plant, from whom you will ask for its part (and not a simple part, but endowed with magical powers). Go to a tree, shrub, flower or grass, break off a piece of bread and say:

Greetings, (name of the plant), please share with me your power, which (and you need to say what this power does, i.e. name the magical property that you need (and which this plant definitely has), for example, gives protection or helps to attract love).

Put a piece at the roots of the plant or on its branches. Cut or pinch, tear off or dig out the part of the plant you need. Fold your chosen plant into a cloth or scarf. Take as many magical herbs as you need for your purpose. Do not take more than you need, a sense of proportion is more important than ever. When you have collected the right amount, thank the Spirits of plants and the Spirit of the place:

“Thank you Spirits (name of the herb) and the Spirit of the place. Let there be peace between us."

You turn around and walk away without looking back.

So you will collect a plant endowed with magical Power. It will be stored in the plant for a year until the next season of the specific collection of this plant. If during this time you do not use magical grass, then it is advisable to burn it or bury it with the words:

May the strength of (such and such) herb return to her. So be it and so be it!

I wish you fruitful practice and friendly relations with yourself, your loved ones, Spirits and the World.

Many summer residents collect and dry medicinal herbs. Someone likes to drink fragrant and healthy in winter, someone uses medicinal plants for hair and skin care, someone has proven recipes for herbal preparations for various ailments. Regardless of the purpose, it is important to properly collect and dry plant materials, and now is the time to remember how to do this.

Herb collection time

Each medicinal plant has its own harvesting time. It is at this time that it maximally accumulates useful substances, which determine its healing effect. Brief plate-calendar will help you navigate the timing of the collection of plant materials (calendar for the Middle Strip; for other geographical areas, of course, amendments are needed to take into account the climate). To enlarge the image, just click on the picture:

Herbal collection calendar (for central Russia)

If the plate was not at hand or there is no plant of interest to us in it, we focus on the general rules - depending on the type of medicinal raw material.

kidneys

If the raw materials are plant buds, they need to be collected in early spring(in some plants - starting from February). You should have time, “catch the moment”, when the buds are already swollen, but the leaves have not yet begun to bloom. Expanding buds no longer have value as medicinal raw materials.

Bark

The bark of trees and shrubs is also harvested in the spring - when does sap flow start. The period of its harvesting ends when the first leaves unfold. If the time of collection is chosen correctly, the bark is easily separated from the branch.

Leaves

Most often, the harvesting of leaves is carried out at a time when when the plant is budding or flowering. Less often - in the fruiting phase. In plants with wintering foliage (lingonberry, bearberry), autumn harvesting of raw materials is also possible - after the berries have ripened.

Collection time depends on the type of medicinal raw materials

Flowers and inflorescences

If the flowers of the plant are required for medicinal purposes, you should wait until when they are fully developed. Sometimes buds are also used, but raw materials should never be harvested from withering and fading plants.

Herbs

The above-ground part of herbaceous perennials and annuals is collected during their flowering or bud formation.

Seeds and fruits

In most cases, it is recommended to wait, when the fruits and seeds are fully ripe. However, there are exceptions. For example, ripe rose hips become soft and crumple when harvested - they are harvested slightly unripe. Kalina, mountain ash, sea buckthorn are good to collect after the first frost.

Seeds and fruits are usually harvested when they are fully ripe.

If the seeds of the plant, ripening, easily crumble, scatter, apply little trick: on a branch where valuable raw materials ripen, they put on a small linen bag and tie it so that it does not blow away with the wind. Ripe seeds will gather themselves.

Roots, rhizomes, tubers and bulbs

They are usually dug in early spring, at the time of awakening of plants; in some plants autumn- when the maximum amount of useful substances accumulates in the underground organs. During the autumn harvest, they usually wait until the aerial part begins to die off (but until it completely dies off, so as not to make a mistake in identifying the plant).

So that medicinal plants are always at hand, you can grow them yourself. And it is convenient to choose seeds for your pharmaceutical garden in our catalog, which contains offers from large online garden stores. .

Talismans, amulets and charms from plants.

The manufacture of amulets for the house, car and person is undertaken not only by magicians, but also by ordinary people, without even noticing it. A favorite toy taken by a child on a trip sometimes plays the role of a talisman to a greater extent than an amulet acquired from a magician. Do not scold the child on the road for a damaged or lost toy, it is quite possible that she took the "strike of fate" upon herself. And adults do not lag behind children, buying key chains, jewelry and other trinkets. By hanging the keychain on the keys, we do this so that they do not get lost, thereby programming the keychain to protect the keys. By making consciously amulets and talismans for yourself, family and friends, many troubles can be avoided.

amulet- a nice little thing in which the protective forces are concentrated. The amulet protects the owner, house or car, reflecting the evil eye, damage, illness, envy, theft, etc.

Amulet- a thing "charged" with active energy, which can be replenished in places of power or charged independently. The energy of the amulet has a narrowly focused action, that is, it brings good luck in only one area. Charging the amulet "for love" will get it, "for money" - money, for each action you need a separate amulet. Do not wear a spent amulet, put it in a box and keep it at home. Do not let children play, do not show to strangers.

For example, the amulet "to get a job" after being triggered, put it in a black box and hide it in the northern part of the house. Amulet "for the birth of a child" in a white box and the western part of the apartment go home. "To get well" in a yellow box and in the center of the house. Amulets can be charged in this place and maintain the result achieved.

Mascot- has all the properties of both a talisman and an amulet, while it can both help and harm. A toy "grabbed" from someone else's house is able to take revenge on the new owner. Alien talismans will never be useful, they will give away all the negativity of the old owner in revenge. Sometimes talismans come unexpectedly: they are given, found, inherited, but they have one thing in common - attachment to the owner. Having forgotten the talisman at home, the owner will be "not at ease" energetically feeling the gap and loss. The most accessible for us are such talismans as a pectoral cross, a rosary or a wedding ring.

On the one hand, it is good for people with a weak will to have talismans, since they feed the owner, but on the other hand, if they are lost, they can get a nervous breakdown, since there is a strong binding. It must be remembered: if the talisman is lost, then its power is exhausted and the owner no longer needs it. Do not despair, and if you need this kind of magic, then look for or wait for the arrival of a new one.

Independent production of medicinal fees.

The proposed therapeutic single doses and the number of herbs are not strictly mandatory, the doses of herbs depend on the state of health and well-being, as well as on the weight and age of the patient. Doses can be reduced, but should not be increased, just do not forget that many herbs are strong allergens.

All medicinal teas should be taken under the supervision of the attending physician. At the same time, you need to monitor your well-being and the reaction of the body. All plants can bring both benefit and harm. There are no "harmless" herbs to take just in case.
