If you have absolutely no experience in sharpening meat grinder knives, buy a corundum whetstone in a specialized store. The best option would be if its diameter is approximately 180 mm, and the grain size is from 40 to 60 microns.

Sharpening will be done on a vertical drilling machine, but you can use a hand drill or a screwdriver.

We will sharpen in three stages: first with coarse sandpaper, then with fine, and at the end with the finest.
We put it on a flat lining made of a piece of steel or other material. The main thing is that the surface is perfectly flat. Then we put sandpaper with a large grain on top, then the mesh knife itself. We lower the fixture so that all the bolts fall into the holes. You don't have to go all the way to the end. It is necessary that the spring create a pressing force.
We turn on the machine and within a few minutes we sharpen the knife.


Next, stop the machine and replace the sandpaper with a finer one. Continue sharpening the knife for a few minutes.
