  3. Clean the ignition wick if the column ignites with pops and then immediately goes out.

  5. Clean the ionization sensor electrode if ignition sparks appear, but the column does not light up.

How to deal with other problems

It is often possible to hear that the geyser does not heat the water well. The main reason is a malfunction of the heat exchanger, clogged with soot and soot. An accurate diagnosis can be made by the color of the fire - in the case of a real blockage, it turns yellow and may even deviate to the side. This condition threatens to seriously overheat the casing and requires immediate cleaning.

To reduce the risk of scale formation, it is necessary not to bring the heating of the water up to 55 degrees unnecessarily and to install protective filters. If clogging nevertheless occurred, it is necessary to close the gas pipeline and the water circuit. Draining the liquid remaining in the radiator, remove the casing and open the way to the main plates. If necessary, they are not only cleaned with a brush, but problematic parts are also removed and washed.

Water leakage does not appear suddenly, because the corrosion process develops gradually. Small holes can be seen by spots on the surface of the heat exchanger. It is best to inspect the structure after the valve is closed, then the pressure will be higher and the problem will become clearer. Instead of soldering the radiator, you can use a rubber pad or cold welding.

In the latter case, it will still be necessary to select a material whose melting point is higher than the expected heating during operation.

Connecting a system that has been in cold conditions for a long time can be done after at least 2 hours in a warm room. You can not use a geyser located closer than 0.1 m from walls and any other objects. At least 0.4 m should remain above it. If a thermostat is mounted, it must be selected with an output without electric potential, since any discharge threatens to explode.
