My Favourite Season	Мое любимое время года
There are four seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. All seasons are good in their own way. Winter, for example, is full of celebrations, presents and snow. Spring is the time of nature awakening and flower blooming. Autumn can be rainy and yet beautiful, full of multi-coloured leaves. However, my favourite season is summer. I choose summer not only because my birthday is in June, but also because it’s the time of holidays. Summer is the season when the sun shines brightly, the sky is rarely cloudy and the water in the sea becomes warm enough to swim. Even if it becomes too hot, you can always go for a walk in the shady woods. I also like summer because there are many berries, fruit and vegetables, not to mention numerous flowers on the fields. Among them roses, dandelions, daisies, and other flowers. Sometimes the air in summer becomes stuffy, but occasional thunderstorms bring relief. After the thunderstorms the air becomes remarkably fresh and very often we can see the rainbow in the sky. Summer is also the time when I and my family go on holiday to the seaside. It’s a wonderful time, when we can have a rest from the intense academic year and relax. I think all children love summer because of long school holidays and I’m no exception. I also enjoy my free time, playing with my friends, watching TV, and doing other fun activities. Nevertheless, I don’t forget to do some useful reading from time to time. Иногда воздух становится душным, но случайные грозы приносят облегчение. После грозы воздух становится значительно свежее, и очень часто можно увидеть радугу в небе. Лето, это также сезон, когда мы с родителями уезжаем в отпуск на берег моря. Это замечательное время, когда можно отдохнуть от напряженного учебного года и расслабиться. Я думаю, что все дети любят лето из-за долгих школьных каникул, и я не исключение. Я также наслаждаюсь своим свободным временем, играю с друзьями, смотрю телевизор, и занимаюсь другими беззаботными делами. Несмотря на это, я не забываю читать полезные книжки, время от времени.

The Seasons of the Year. My Favourite Season.

It"s a universal truth that every season is beautiful in its own way. Isn"t it wonderful to tramp down the country lanes on a frosty winter day. Everything is white with snow and it crunches under your feet. The rime sparkles on the branches and the icicles like precious diamonds hang from the roofs of the houses.

It"s a merry time for both children and grownups. They can go skating and skiing, sledging and having a fight with snowballs or making a snowman. I suppose, it is very pleasant while the frost lasts, an unpleasant time comes when the thaw begins.

Cars and buses go along streets splashing the mud an slush on the passers-by. Everyone is grumbling and scolding the weather. But soon a warm wind blows up heavy grey clouds and the sun shines brightly in the cloudless azure sky. In a few months summer will come.

Summer is the most suitable season for holidays and vacations. People enjoy bright summer days if they are in the country or at the seaside. They go bathing and swimming, and fishing and boating. But it"s unbearable to stay in town on such hot and glaring days. Everybody droops and shambles and tries to hide in the shade.

Then after a good rest autumn and harvest time comes. The corn has turned golden and the farmer will reap it and put it in his barn. The air is fresh and full of the autumn fragrance of ripe apples, plums and peaches and of course, coloured asters, chrysanthemums.

But the weather is so changeable in autumn, people have to wear raincoats and umbrellas if they don"t want to get wet through. The dead leaves cover the ground like a thick motley carpet, the roads are slippery and wet, there are lots of puddles in the streets and again everyone is looking forward to frosty winter days and much snow out-of-doors.

It"s rather difficult to say what season is the best one, however dull and nasty or charming and marvellous the weather may be.

As to me, I always look forward to summer. I am never tired of its long sunny days, warm rains with thunderstorms and hail, the buzz of mosquitoes and midges. I like to spend my summer holidays at the seaside.

In my childhood I used to enjoy playing on the beach, making castles and forts in the sands. When one becomes older one begins to notice the murmur of the sea and it"s so beautiful to look at the moon"s way on the water in the darkness. The air is fresh and it"s easy to breathe.

I like to lie in the sun getting as brown, paddle in the water or get splashed by the waves. But it"s not every year that you can go to the seaside. Sometimes I spend my holidays in the country. Most of my time I spend in the woods gathering strawberries and flowers or at the river bathing and swimming in it.

Very often, I help my granny in the vegetable garden weeding it or gathering tomatoes, cucumbers or radish. I like to walk in the rain or just sit indoors watching the raindrops falling down from the green leaves and blades of the grass onto the ground.

When summer is over, I always feel sorry, because it was too short and was too quick to pass.

Общеизвестна истина, что каждое время года красиво по-своему. Не чудесно ли побродить по деревенским тропинкам в морозный зимний день. Все вокруг белое от снега, и снег скрипит под ногами. На ветвях деревьев сверкает иней, и, как драгоценные камни, свисают с крыш домов сосульки.

Это веселое время как для детей, так и для взрослых. Они могут покататься на коньках, на лыжах, на санках, побросаться снежками или слепить снеговика. Я считаю, что пока длятся морозы, очень приятно, но когда наступает оттепель - приходит неприятное время.

Машины и автобусы, едущие по улицам, разбрызгивают грязь и талый снег на прохожих. Каждый ворчит на погоду и ругает ее. Но вскоре теплый ветер разгоняет тяжелые серые тучи, и солнце светит ярко в безоблачном лазурном небе. Через несколько месяцев придет лето.

Лето - самое подходящее время для отпусков и каникул. Люди наслаждаются яркими солнечными днями, если они в деревне или на море. Они купаются и плавают, ловят рыбу и катаются на лодках. Но невыносимо находиться в городе в такие жаркие и палящие дни. Все сутулятся к волочат ноги, пытаясь спрятаться в тени.

Затем, после хорошего отдыха, приходит осень, время уборки урожая. Пшеница стала золотой, и фермеры соберут ее и засыпят в амбары. Воздух свеж и полон осеннего аромата спелых яблок, слив, персиков и, конечно, разноцветных астр и хризантем.

Но осенью погода такая изменчивая, людям приходится носить плащи и зонтики, если они не хотят промокнуть насквозь. Опавшие листья покрывают землю толстым пестрым ковром, дороги скользкие и мокрые. На улицах много луж, и опять все с нетерпением ожидают морозных зимних дней.

Довольно трудно сказать, какое время года самое лучшее, какой бы скучной и ненастной или прелестной и изумительной ни была погода.

Что касается меня, я всегда с нетерпением жду лета. Я никогда не устаю от его длинных солнечных дней, теплых дождей с грозами и градом, жужжанием комаров и мошек. Мне нравится проводить летние каникулы на море.

В детстве я часто любил играть на пляже, делая замки и крепости из песка. Когда человек взрослеет, он начинает замечать особенный шум моря. Так красиво, когда смотришь в темноте на лунную дорожку на воде. Воздух свежий, и легко дышится.

Мне нравится загорать, становиться коричневым, плескаться в воде, или когда тебя забрызгивают волны. Но не каждый год можно поехать к морю. Иногда я провожу каникулы в деревне. Большую часть времени я провожу в лесу, собирая землянику и цветы, или у реки, купаясь и плавая в ней.

Я часто помогаю бабушке в огороде, полю сорняки или собираю помидоры, огурцы или редис. Мне нравится гулять под дождем или просто сидеть в доме, наблюдая как капли дождя стекают по зеленым листочкам и стебелькам травы на землю.

Когда заканчивается лето, мне всегда жаль этого, потому что оно было таким коротким и так быстро пролетело.

Мой взгляд на времена года

Трудно сказать, какое время года мне нравится больше, так как во всех есть сове очарование и красота.

Зима

Мне нравится зима из-за великолепного снега. Больше всего я люблю сидеть дома перед камином и смотреть на снег, но играть в снегу на улице также замечательно. Невозможно быть слишком старым для зимних забав. Кроме того, зимой просто красиво, а в воздухе чувствуется трескучий мороз, когда температура опускается ниже определенной отметки. Когда я вижу зимнее снежное небо, я не могу сдержать восторга. И я люблю новогодние праздники, поэтому зима – одно из моих любимых времен года.

Весна

Весной тоже красиво. После холодной зимы так приятно видеть распускающиеся листья, расцветающие цветы, чувствовать легкий свежий ветерок на своем лице и наблюдать за возвращением красивых разноцветных птиц.

Лето

Я не очень люблю лето из-за жары, от которой не спрячешься.

Осень

Но я думаю, мое самое любимое время года – осень. Осенью погода еще в большинстве своем теплая и солнечная, а листья на деревьях меняют свой цвет с зеленого на золотой, рыжий, красный и коричневый. В зависимости от того, в какой стране вы живете, осень приносит с собой прохладу и прощается с изнуряющими жаркими летними днями, когда трудно укрыться от палящего солнца. Осень позволяет нам проводить больше времени вместе, ходить на долгие прогулки и наслаждаться компанией друг друга и окружающими пейзажами в теплый погожий день. Мне также нравится, когда воздух становится прохладным после летней жары и в нем чувствуется приближение зимы. Осенние цветы распускаются и повсюду в полях можно видеть подсолнухи. Я думаю, осень лучшее время года. Если бы меня попросили распределить времена года от любимого до нелюбимого, я бы сделала это так: осень, зима, весна, лето.

Season of the year to me

It’s difficult to say which season of the year is my favourite since each of them has its own charm and beauty.

Winter

I like winter because snow is amazing — especially being indoors with a fireplace watching it, but going outside and playing in the snow is still great. You’re never too old for it. Plus, it’s just beautiful and there’s a particular bite in the air when the temperature gets down below a certain point. I still get excited whenever I see a snowy-weather sky. I really love the New Year, so winter is among my favourites.

Spring

Spring is also beautiful. After the harsh winters it’s such a blessing to see the leaves coming back on the trees, the flowers starting to bloom again to smell the refreshing breezes of spring, the beautiful, colorful birds coming back and to feel the warm breezes of spring on my face.

Summer

I don’t very much like summer though because of the heat you can’t escape from.

Fall or autumn

But I think my favorite season of the year has got to be fall. In the fall, we typically still have nice warm and sunny weather, but the leaves and landscapes are changing from a more green color to shades of gold, orange, red and brown. Also, depending on what country you live in, fall brings lower temperatures and does away with the very hot days that are often spent sitting outside sunbathing or inside to avoid the heat wave. Fall allows people to bond by going for comfortable walks and enjoying each other’s company in the comfort of the still warm weather and the beautiful landscapes.It is so wonderful when the air turns more crisp and cool after the heat of summer. The fall wild flowers bloom and there are fields of sunflowers everywhere. It’s just about the best season all around. From most favorite to least favorite it runs like this for me: fall, spring, winter, summer.

There are four seasons in a year. They are summer, autumn, winter and spring. Each season is beautiful in its own way. Sometimes it is very hard to say which one is better and why.

We always wait for chilly autumn to come after hot summer just the same way as we wait for sunny spring to come after hard winter. I always look forward to a new season, to the time when weather and nature change. There is something special in all the seasons. My favourite season of a year is spring. Why? There are a few reasons for that.

I love the nature that awakens after a long winter. It is easy to notice that from the very first days of spring the sun shines in a special way. The air may still be a bit chilly, but the sun is unusually warm.
I love to watch trees and flowers break into bloom. It is such a heart-warming feeling to suddenly notice first buds and leaves appearing on dull bare trees.
I cannot but mention the end of spring. May is my favourite spring month. Weather in May is particularly wonderful. It gets as warm as in summer.
Spring wind which is more like a breeze is also something worth mentioning. There is not such wind in any other time of a year. It is either pleasantly cool or nicely warm.
In spring it is not just nature that wakes up but also people. I think that in spring there are a lot more reasons for good mood, smiles and get-togethers.

I always look forward to spring. This time of a year I feel more energetic and active, I have plenty of new goals and dreams. In spring even the usual surroundings seem especially lovely and sweet.

I love spring because it brings the feeling of tranquillity and gratification. It seems to me that in spring there are fewer grounds for low mood. When spring draws to a close I look forward to summer. The reason for that is that each season is beautiful in its own way.

В году четыре сезона. Это лето, осень, зима и весна. Каждое время года по-своему прекрасно. Иногда очень сложно сказать, какое из них лучше и почему.

Мы всегда ждем, когда на смену жаркому лету придет прохладная осень, точно так же, как ждем, когда на смену морозной зиме придет солнечная весна. Я всегда с нетерпением жду нового сезона, времени, когда природа и погода меняются. Во всех временах года есть что-то особенное. Моим самым любимым временем года является весна. Почему? Есть несколько причин.

Я люблю природу, которая просыпается после долгой зимы. Легко заметить, что с самых первых дней весны солнце светит по-особому. Воздух может быть еще немного холодным, но солнце – непривычно теплое.
Я люблю наблюдать, как распускаются цветы и цветут деревья. Это такое трогательное чувство вдруг заметить появление первых почек и листочков на унылых голых деревьях.
Нельзя не сказать о конце весны. Май – мой любимый весенний месяц. Погода в мае особенно замечательная. Становится тепло, как летом.
Стоит также сказать о весеннем ветре, который больше похож на бриз. Такого ветра нет ни в какое другое время года. Он либо приятно прохладный, либо приятно теплый.
Весной просыпается не только природа, но и сами люди. Мне кажется, что весной больше поводов для хорошего настроения, улыбок и встреч.

Я всегда с нетерпением жду весну. В это время года я чувствую себя более энергичной и активной, у меня появляются новые цели и мечты. Весной даже привычная обстановка кажется особенно милой и приятной.

My favourite season

It’s a well-known fact that there are 4 seasons of the year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. Each of them has its advantages.

As for me, I like all seasons of the year. In winter I’m fond of skating and skiing. I enjoy playing snowballs with my friends. But for sure, sometimes it’s really cold in winter and I can’t go for a walk. For that reason I need to spend much time at home watching TV and playing computer games. And I like to spend time outdoors.

Spring and autumn are also marvellous. In spring everything is green. There is an atmosphere of love and tenderness. In autumn I like to spend time in different parks. All the leaves are red, yellow, and sometimes purple. You can make excellent photos.

But it’s not a secret that my favourite season is summer. You can ask me a simple question: “Why?” I can name you a million reasons for that. First of all, I keen on hot weather; I don’t like rains and winds. In summer the weather is really great. Also you can have a rest from your school classes. I like to study, but every pupil is tired at the end of the academic year. In summer I enjoy spending time by the sea. I also like to bask in the sun. I’ve got a cool bicycle, so I usually ride it. My grandparents live in a village, and in summer I like to spend some weeks there, swimming in the river, fishing, picking mushrooms and berries.

My favourite season is summer, but I can find beauties in each season of the year.

Всем известно, что существует 4 поры года: зима, весна, лето, осень. И каждая из них имеет свои преимущества.

Что касается меня, я люблю все поры года. Зимой я увлекаюсь катанием на коньках и лыжах. Я люблю играть в снежки с друзьями. Но, конечно, иногда зимой очень холодно, и я не могу пойти на прогулку. По этой причине мне приходится проводить много времени дома: смотрю телевизор и играю в компьютерные игры. Но я люблю проводить время на свежем воздухе.

Весна и осень также прекрасны. Весной везде всё зелёное. Весной царит атмосфера любви и нежности. Осенью я люблю проводить время в разных парках. Все листики красные, жёлтые, а иногда и фиолетовые. Вы можете сделать замечательные фотографии осенью.

Но не секрет, что моя любимая пора года – лето. Вы можете задать мне простой вопрос: «Почему же?» Я могу назвать миллион причин этого. Прежде всего, я помешан(а) на очень тёплой погоде, я не люблю дожди и ветра. Летом погода действительно великолепная. Также летом можно отдохнуть от школьных уроков. Я люблю учиться, но каждый ученик устаёт к концу учебного года. Летом я люблю проводить время на курорте. Также я люблю загорать на солнце. У меня есть крутой велосипед, поэтому я часто езжу на нём летом. Мои бабашка и дедушка живут в деревне, и летом я люблю провести несколько недель у них. Там я люблю плавать в речке, ловить рыбу, собирать грибы и ягоды.

Моя любимая пора года – лето, но я могу найти прекрасное в каждой поре года.
